  1. This stupid fuck has killed this program. Quinn Ewers was the one thing we could sell to a loaded 2022 class. Herman has completely fucked us with the recruits in the 2021 and 2022 classes. Everyday he coaches at Texas, we become worse. He has to go right now. This fucking program is a joke. You can’t even get kids who dreamed of playing here to come here. Fuck, I feel like throwing up when I watch us and I’m a die hard fan. Fuck you CDC and Herman for bringing us to this point. Herman is a fraud and CDC, you’re a fuckkng fraud for giving this idiot an extension after a 5 loss season, keeping him after last years abortion of a season, and keeping him as head coach right now. You can fuck right off as well for letting this idiot take a massive shit on the University of Texas.

  2. Immamac, I am gonna have to disagree on this one. I've been on the planet 40 years and some change. Never in my life have I ever seen a bunch of flags flying around with the current President's name on it. Never have I had so many arguments and life long friends willing to end friendships over a politician. It's a cult in every sense of the word.

  8. Donald Trump and many (most, probably) of his cronies are actually criminals. We know this, because indictments of Trump officials is up near 200 and the usual Democratic number is somewhere near 1 or 2. It's an actual criminal enterprise. You can say it doesn't matter or we shouldn't care, but it is what it is. And whatever problems I have with Biden's administration (I will have MANY) it won't be a literal crime organization.

  9. Let me do a little public service and slay some of this PTSD. My brother texted me last night freaking out so I ran a few numbers. Here are current swing state results if the undecideds break exactly how they did in 2016, meaning we're assuming the exact same underestimation of rural whites in the Rust Belt, etc. "Repeat of the 2016 disaster": Biden with 289 EVs - Let's take that a step further and go with an "absolute nuclear worst case scenario" where Trump wins 70% of the remaining undecideds and Biden wins 0%. This is a ridiculous hypothetical that will never happen (it was 32% on average in swing states for Trump last time), but just testing the limits of Biden's leads in swing states. Biden wins with 278 EVs - If Biden's individual state results match his polling vs. HIllary's results vs. her polling: 289 EVs Now let's get into more realistic scenarios where the pollsters have actually changed their models to properly account for rural whites and non-college educated folks. - If pollsters have gotten 30% more accurate than 2016: 304 EVs - If Biden wins 65% of the undecideds, which is more in line with challenger vs. unpopular incumbent: 387 EVs Keep in mind that ALL of the above scenarios have Biden losing Florida, because the recent R-lean polls pushed the RCP average in Trump's favor. I'm not sure that's accurate. With Florida in play those numbers get even better. There's been a lot of concern about the whole "Trump stops Wisconsin and Pennsylvania counting at midnight before early votes are counted". Let's take a look at that, I picked Wisconsin because it was a bit of a difficult analysis that I only wanted to do once and they had better data. In Wisconsin, based on where early votes are happening (and some other number crunching), I expect Biden to lead Trump in early voting about 779k to 718k. Given that, election day voters only are still likely to break for Biden, I've got election day going 50.2% Biden, 49.0% Trump. Not only that, but half or more of the early votes will be reported by the time election day results start coming in, because they start counting at 7am that day. I'm almost certain that Trump will never hold a lead in Wisconsin. The awesome thing about this scenario is that it puts Trump in a brutal spot. If he gets the courts to stop the counting, he'll surely lose WI because he'll be behind. And if he lets WI keep counting, then he blows up his own argument to stop counting in other states (PA, OH). He ends up in a no-win situation that royally fucks his "stop the vote" plan. Also, on a non-math nerd practical, basis, it's probably not going to matter: Dane County Clerk Scott McDonell is just one of many local officials trying to adjust to the situation. “We have added a bunch of machines to help with processing so, while I think it will be a late night, I think we'll see the vast majority of the results at midnight, 1 a.m.,” McDonell said." Votes are probably all going to be in that night, or plenty enough to give Biden a comfortable win. I suspect PA will be the same way, and we won't have that problem in Michigan because they started counting votes yesterday. We're gonna be alright everyone. Remain calm.

  17. A coaching change at Texas wouldn't exactly pass under the radar. But if they are seriously considering firing Tom in season if we lose to Ok. State, and would like to minimize the PR drama as much as realistically possible, wonder if there's any significant national event scheduled to occur within the next week or so that would deflect attention ...

  18. I don't think this is much of a mystery, to be honest. Think of the term "loser" for a second. Who do we apply that term to? It's not necessarily people who don't have a lot of material success -- there are plenty of people who don't have much going for them by worldly standards but are nevertheless content. Because they're content, they're not really "losers." When I think of who we call "losers," what comes to my mind are people who are not content with what they have, and believe they deserve more. Because of ineptitude, they cannot attain whatever measure of status they feel they deserve. Maybe they want to be a fit, attractive person but can't stop binge eating and can't settle in to a workout routine. Maybe they fancy themselves a great businessperson but they can't manage money and get suckered into bad debts. Perhaps they want to be a respected intellectual but they don't have the attention span to earn a degree. If you could tune in to their internal dialog, I think you'd hear someone who believes they already are a winner according to whatever identity they've adopted -- charmer, businessperson, intellectual, etc., and they are in complete denial of the much more limited person they really are. Trump "tapped in" to white losers. Racism and xenophobia is a drug for them. It provides these losers with an infinite supply of external reasons for their lack of real world results. As a consequence, their denial is trivial to sustain. Trump is also one of those losers, but in one of the most bizarre twists of fate in human history, the entire Kingdom of Loserdom somehow managed to get him elected into the most powerful position on the planet. He embodies their denial, but magically turned into truth. He's their grandiose delusions made into reality. He is the loser whose wishes for glory came true.

  20. Not sure why everybody is freaking out about it at this point. All it does is accelerate Herman's termination. The Hermination. We weren't going to be good enough to keep Ewers if Herman stays, this is actually the best way to sign Ewers. You know, assuming we don't fuck up the replacement hire.

  21. What in the blue fuck have any of you dipshits been watching over the first five games of this season that would make you think this team/coach is capable of winning out? Do you even watch the games? I know it's painful to do so, but I actually have. And despite the excessive drinking that this team has compelled me to partake in, I do remember most of the shit that they tried to pass off as football. And believe you me, there is absolutely zero indication that this team is capable of doing much beyond self-destructing. Seriously, how could you ever think something like winning out is possible? Was it the way they were gutted by a shitty Tech QB who has since been benched? Perhaps it was the endless string of dumbass penalties and special teams fuck ups against TCU and OU? Maybe it was the way that they couldn't run it down the throat against weak ass and awful Baylor? Y'all need to shut the fuck up about this ridiculous winning out bullshit. You'd be better off believing in the tooth fairy. Or Charlie Strong. This is a bad football team coached by a bad coach that plays stupid, losing football. And nothing is going to change around here until he gets his ass fired. Winning out? Lol. Go fuck your own face with that nonsense.

  25. I cannot keep up with this anymore, it’s gotten so Fonzi but I’ll give it a shot. So, the President’s personal lawyer flies overseas and spends several months hanging out with two Ukrainians who are currently being charged with campaign finance violations and the oligarch fighting extradition to the US who is being represented by a pair of married lawyers who used to work at Giuliani’s law firm. In addition, an official who was ousted for not prosecuting corruption but is anxious to regain a position so as to profit from Ukrainian energy contracts through corruption is in contact with the President’s personal lawyer and not any official American foreign service officers thus possibly rendering Rudy a unregistered foreign official. So far so good. Meanwhile the Ambassador to Ukraine learns she’s going to go through some things and has to flee Ukraine and later is deposed after being subpoenaed to appear before the HPSCI. With her out of the way, the Secretary of the DOE gets the contract signed for an advantageous energy contract for an American company in Ukraine, steps down, and goes dark. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian American associates for the President’s personal lawyer are arrested and are left in baggage claim by the President who claims not to know them. Jet setting Rudy is joined separately on his world tour by AG Barr and Big Mike Pompeo who circle the globe getting up to who knows what but everything dies down as Impeachment and then the Plague happen. Then a blind man who cannot visually confirm a customer claims that the son of a presidential candidate and former VP happens to leave a laptop in his business and then forgets about it? And the computer guy decides to call the President’s personal lawyer instead of the customer? And the documents are all screenshots stamped: HUNTER BIDEN’S TOP SECRET KOMPROMAT DOCUMENTS AND PORN and now Tucker Carlson, the frozen food heir lost them in the mail? You know, I’m really upset with Vladimir, this is not their best work. It’s actually pretty insulting.

He doesn't get a lot of run in the Most Punchable Faces list, and he certainly doesn't qualify in my personal kill list, but I have to say I've sen Hogan Gidley (what a perfect prep school piece of shit name), and he might be one of the smarmiest, smug, intellectually dishonest fucking evil motherfuckers out there. Not smart, just amoral. If heaven is an endless playground of us living out our fantasies forever, I would regularly summon Gidley's soul from hell so I could just beat the fuck out of him before sending him back down to the lake of fire.

  28. I think America has grown tired of cleaning up Donald Trump messes. The people were rescued by socialized firefighter and police spending. Odds are - some of the attendees and rescuers and workers will come down with Covid. Some may die. Many will infect others . . . the mess cycle will go on and on. I am glad they were rescued and that those who needed care were taken to hospitals. Americans take care of each other. Some Trumpkins are free-riders - taking that support but not treating others with the same respect. And some are just doing what people in a death cult do before the big Kool-Aid send off.
