  5. Good note from Jordan Scruggs (Horns 247). Just some football thoughts about a handful of prospects, and on recruiting. Without the usual clichés and bullshit. Excerpts/key points (complete article spoilered at the end) - Jalen Lott is the safest bet in the entire state of Texas (NFL potential on both sides of the ball, and very high floor) - Keith Dotie is going to be a harder flip than previously expected (SMU commit, 3-star DL from Mesquite Poteet) - Chris Stewart will sign with Texas - There’s a sleeping giant in south Houston Fort Bend Crawford 2027 Top247 wide receiver Alvin Mosley - Jermaine Bishop committing to Texas caught other schools completely off guard - This will be Texas’ best offensive line haul since 2022 - Few programs have done a better job with true athlete types than the Longhorns, and they’ll continue to reap the rewards from it going forward (Jelani McDonald, Wardell Mack, Aaron Butler, Jonah Williams, Michael Terry III, Nick Townsend, Lance Jackson, and Jermaine Bishop) - The 2027 in-state class is a better class top to bottom than the 2026 in-state class, and there’s more depth as well - I like my crystal ball for Kaydon Finley Finley makes his decision on his fourth of July commitment date. COMPLETE ARTICLE The Stampede: Thoughts after spending two weeks on the road seeing TXHSFB spring ball practices Scattershooting thoughts on in-state recruiting following two weeks of being out on the road seeing TXHSFB spring ball practices. 7. I don't post much these days, but here is one for you guys. aggy LOVES to bleat about their "12 Man" shit. We all know about the truth about their misguided E. King Gill. He wasn't anyone special then, he isn't anything special now and there is a reason no one in the history of sports have given a shit about what they claim to make their "history" anything worth noting. Here is a snippet about the 1899 Sewanee Tigers team who was traveling down to Texas to play the University of Texas. They added a bunch of teams to make the trip pay for itself. They took a team of 18 players down to play Texas. 18 players. Think about that for a minute. 18 players. Enjoy.

  16. Holy shit. Not only do they have to pretend to give a shit about a woman's sport, now they have to pretend to be softball scholars who know the OBP's of every woman on Liberty enough to be able to mansplain how this is actually evidence of them getting screwed. Meanwhile, half of those chodes legit do not know how many innings are in a college softball game. This is so, so tasty. God damn, aggy. You miserable tool shed.

  23. Holy smokes! Aggy baseball - falls from preseason #1 to unranked, faster than any other team in history. And tonight, Aggy softball becomes the first #1 seed ever, to lose in a regional. To Liberty.

  25. Um, 6 host seeds had stronger #2 seeds than aggy - Oregon had Stanford (#16), Arizona had Ole Miss (#20), Duke had Georgia (#24), Tennessee had Ohio State (#23), LSU had Nebraska (#25) and Alabama had Virginia Tech (#14) Almost 50% of their wins were C-USA (23-3) and they also lost to Missouri (who missed the tournament), Wichita State, Auburn, Middle Tennessee, NMSU, Sam Houston and Jacksonville State They were not some powerhouse team. Strong mid-major, but the #1 overall seed should easily beat a mid-major two out of three times Texas and OU had to beat P4 teams after their opener - OU beat Cal (ACC) twice, Texas beat Michigan (B1G) and UCF (Big 12) Only 2 hosts even got a mid-major as their #2 seed - aggy and Florida. Florida did their job.

  27. 100 fucking percent. This issue with young males is because of their parents. We have a newly transitioned family member. My 7 year old asked about it, we discussed for 10 minutes, and it's now a non-issue. It's not that fucking hard.

  32. I don't care if you are white, brown, black, or chartreuse. If you are a Christian, a Muslim, Atheist or Christian Scientist. If you are turned on by men, women, or all of the above. If you were born in the US or came her from a foreign country. If you have a family and make less than $200K a year as a household and have less than a $1 million net worth, you have a hell of a lot more in common with everyone else I mentioned than you do with Donald Trump or Elon Musk. You are falling behind while the rich get richer You are a few paychecks or one medical emergency away from financial catastrophe Your kids are being poorly educated by a crumbling public education system You have relatively less than your parents did at your age Your children will have relatively less than you do at your age You have fewer opportunities to make a comfortable living than your parents did Your kids will have fewer opportunities to make a comfortable living than you do If democrats are to ever be relevant again, they need to start there and fucking stay there. You want to know how many voters that is? 88% of U.S. households make less than $200K a year and have less than a $1 million net worth. If Dems simply stick to a platform that puts their economics first, second and third and quit taking the culture war bait from Republicans, they win. Bigly.
