McKinnley jackson arrested for weed

Spoiler

The second year defensive tackle was picked up at some point today by Texas A&M police and charged with possession of a controlled substance (penalty group 1) weighing from 4-200 grams and possession of marijuana under less than two ounces in weight. He has been bonded out.

We're posting this only because the first day of practice is tomorrow and A&M athletes are suspended from school upon being booked by law enforcement, a policy that we were reiminded of in a press release from A&M after WR Demond Demas was picked up in March.

"Per athletics department policy, any Texas A&M student-athlete is suspended from athletics activities upon arrest. The individual will then meet with athletics department personnel and an appropriate course of action will be determined on a case-by-case basis".

A&M boss Jimbo Fisher is not scheduled to address the media until Sunday as part of A&M's media day.

Jackson, a defensive lineman from Lucedale, Mississippi, earned SEC All-Freshman Team honors in 2020 after appearing in all 10 games and making one start. He accumulated a pair of tackles-for-loss and 1.5 quarterback sacks on the season. In A&M’s Orange Bowl victory, Jackson posted a pair of tackles, a sack and a hurry against No. 13 North Carolina. He was the first team nosetackle during spring football and was named to the preseason watch list for the 2021 Outland Trophy.

Vape pens are felonies. It's my understanding that anytime the thc has been synthesized into another form it is felonious

It’s penalty group 1, which I believe is coke, H, meth, or Ketamine.

THC is penalty group 2.

but you are correct that any time it’s concentrated into vape oil, it’s a felony possession

Hahahahah holy shit the stowers thing is hilarious! Good there has to be receipts on how much they were pumping him up especially vs Milroe

I read Tarps article on the first practice.  A few notes:

Demas was dressed, but was on a bike the whole time lulz, wtf??

Grayson Reed was, surprise surprise, watching practice and was a non-participant.

1st OL was (L-to-R), Green-Robinson-Matthews-Aki-Trainor.

RJ Orebo was 2nd team DT 🤨

2nd team CB's were George and Chappell.  Erick Young 2nd team NB.

Oh, that was so last year.

Now, most posters claim to like this move.

(And the concomitant - and supposedly ideal - transition from King to Weigman to Holstein ...  surely there's a Friesian in the class of '24?)

Yeah looks like you're correct

Yeah two separate charges - misdemeanor for weed and 2nd degree felony for the other substance. This article also notes that the charges are from April 7th but just now got charged, which seems pretty odd.

From another article:

"According to a July 30th affidavit from Texas A&M police, Jackson told officers on April 12th that a canister containing pills and 1.418 ounces of marijuana was his.
UPD learned that 21.71 grams of pills that were sent to a DPS lab for testing were the controlled substance Ketamine.
According to the affidavit, video surveillance showed the canister fell out of Jackson's backpack as he was walking to his apartment in the Park West complex on A&M's west campus."

Sounds like they sent the pills to be tested and that can take months sometimes.

We all know how that aggy rollercoaster works.

Of course. I am open to hearing some other reason why a newb poster made a couple of mocking posts of our team. He doesn’t have any cred here, so he should tread lightly if he isn’t an aggy.

For those of us not in the drug game, what is 200g and how much is that worth?

About 7 ounces, so not quite half a pound.

looks like 1 mg/kg is a common dose. If a 200 lb person is around 90 kg, a 90 mg dose.  And he had 200,000 mg.

of course if you have a bunch of livestock to sedate, it’s not a big number.
