Does a rainout help Astros more or the Sox more ???

Sox had to use a lot of pitchers, who threw quite a few pitches, that they need to shut us down. I think a day off helps them more.

there's so much to unpack from today, so i'll just start listing them. tuesday was devastating for oakland, today was twice as devastating for the yankees.  they had just started to play better.

The boy and I were at the last ALCS clincher - we were walking on air for days after Altuve’s walkoff. Today, the boy is 5,000 miles and 7 hours away, with no way to watch. So we did a video chat, w

LMJ tomorrow.

We have 2 good starters. We get to throw them both up 2-1. The rain delay helps us more than hurts us.

This is probably for the best  LMJ should be able to handle to hostile environment better and you know he’ll be fired up in light of the bullshit coming out of the Sox locker room. I expect Chicago to go with a Rodon/Lynn combo start

To be fair to Dusty, he’s been given a tough hand. We basically have two dependable SPs, a guy who’s obviously out of gas in Garcia, and a guy who’s not bad but also gives up too much hard contact in Urquidy. On top of that you have a pen with a bunch of LOOGYs and ROOGYs capped by a very good closer.

Click should get more blame for not doing enough to fix this pitching staff.

i wish we had a bunch of loogy’s. that was on my deadline list and it was a short list.

god forbid we get there, but working on my buddy who does pregame/runs the music etc. at MMP to play a little ditty called "Before you Accuse me" by Eric Clapton pregame for game 5

Umm, where was the missed call to Grandal that was strike 3 and allowed the Sox to score 5 runs in the 3rd?

I think after the HR to Grandal, especially after not getting the obvious strike 3, you go get him. Rookie pitcher, tough road environment. Go to Greinke, and why the fuck did Greinke only get 1 inning? He was executing and getting ground balls, they were just lucky fucking ground balls. I think at this point the only 2 starters you can rely on for more than 1 time through the lineup is McCullers and Framber. Garcia and Urquidy should get time, and at the 1st sign of trouble the 2nd time through, you go get them.

You have Greinke and Javier for this reason, and once we advance, you need to replace Yimi with Odorizzi.

You mean Johnny Bravo? And why for the love of all things holy do we play Josh Abbott's "My Texas" after every home win? Josh is a Rangers fan by the way.

clapton’s been cancelled. there would probably national articles slamming the astros for choosing to play his stuff.

Especially since it was originally a Bo Diddley song. You know, cultural appropriation and all that

At least we'll have Ymi available tomorrow now with the off day.

A BoSox/Astros ALCS matchup will blow Helobious’ mind.

Thought Whip-its had done that a long time ago?

we’re all rooting for BOS tonight, right? seems like an easier matchup and we’d have HFA if we both advance.

Absofreakinglutely.

Fuck the White Sox.   No way they have that much weak contact for hits again.  Lets Roll LMJ.

We want Boston in 5,  not 4.
