This graphic just goes to show that Chicago food >>> New York food. Imagine an extra wet Italian beef & sausage, Chicago dog & Chicago deep dish. I wouldn't cut any of those.

Username adds legitimacy to the claim.

I stayed near St Germain for the French Open a few weeks ago. There's an amazing grocery store there on Rue De Bac that has a large international section labeled by country - the US section looked like someone googled an image for "US grocery store" and mimicked the the shittiest Dollar General in Mississippi. "Off-Brand Generic" doesn't do it justice.

Vince Vaughn GIF

Drinking fountains from back in the day were solid porcelain, with nickel turn handles and spigot.  Everyone from that generation witnessed a kid get his/her mouth jammed right into the metal spigot when run into by two 5th graders rough housing, then bleed profusely all over everything.

This right here. Realistic stereo shit was the steal of the century, though you would get ridiculed for having it.

OG Radio Shack when they were in every town and actually sold electronic components, before they became a glorified mobile phone reseller.

Sears, back when Craftsman was made in the USA.  Radio Shack when they stocked components.  Hell, Fry's electronics.

Thing is Craftsman is still around, and some of their stuff is still made in the USA. I've seen it at Ace Hardware, for example.

I always remember someone would plug up one of the two water holes (usually the bigger one) and then when the knob was turned water would shoot out about 6 feet
