Seems that A.J. McCarron is trying to set the record straight on his role (or lack thereof) in one of Manziel's past screwups.

McCarron relives story of Manziel getting kicked out of Manning Passing Academy

For background, here's one from a few years after the fact when Manziel apparently tries to throw McCarron under the Manziel bus for not making sure little Johnny made the counselors' meeting.

Manziel insinuates McCarron sabotaged him at Manning Academy

Aggy wouldn't ever do it, but they probably need a new yell for Manziel: "Sit down, drunk bus driver!"

What would you expect from a guy who was never held accountable until his mid 20's after the dumbarses who are firing you  have paid you millions, then you (or someone(s) who feed off you in a parasitic relationship) convince people to pay you to tell a story about how you were never held accountable which triggers the cult that worships at the alter of you, a dog, and a guy who stood on the sideline and never actually played in a game to rally around you..

So many bumps, I figured there'd be an Obituary link by now...

And I'm talking THREAD bumps, not the JM key bumps we're used to talking about in here.

I, for one, am in favor of Manziel living for a long time, because that probably means he'll keep doing stuff to keep us entertained between games. He dies and  then we've got nothing but memories to rehash.

And those memories would be long gone 2 minutes after the body reaches room temp.

You underestimate the desire of the Ags to keep a hero alive in their minds.

Shit, Gil didn't play a down and his memory is immortalized for ever, just imagine if he won a game at Alabama in a season that resulted in not even a SEC West DIVISION championship.

Yet outside of Surly, I've reference E. King Gil 0.0 times.

It all depends on the manner of death. He has the potential to off himself in a blaze of spectacular stupidity.

Maybe so, and maybe we laugh at different things as I laugh to myself each time I see those idiots locked arm and am swaying to the memory of a guy who is immortalized for merely standing on the sideline.

You believe there is a Darwin award in Johnny's future to book end the Heisman?

Perhaps. If he puts in the work.

Pryor wasn't freebasing; he was only mixing low-fat milk with pasteurized when the shit blew up. He made me promise not to tell anybody, but . . .
