We can’t expect a winning season if the team doesn’t address its inability to run the damn ball. The team needs a big improvement on both lines.

Also, I think Parsons is wasted lining up as a full time DE/Edge, but that’s a separate conversation

Odds of getting to the NFC Championship for the first time in 30+ years is frightfully small

Yeah I'm expecting them to do something there...either stupidly using their first round pick on a RB or the new OC and some resources towards that.

and I agree...I'm not even close to saying they're NFC Title game bound or close to winning the division.  I think they'll be a 9-10 team regardless if they're healthy and don't improve much at all(as we mostly expect)

That will keep you at pick 17-25 for the next few years

yep the treadmill of mediocrity

I wish ya'll wouldn't even quote that mouth breather or rex either...

Both are so pathetic they can't even respond to a legitimate post.

Glad I've ignored them, was worthless to even engage with those morons.

Brian is the second coming of Dave Campo. He and his staff = Brent Venables. This next season might be one of the worst Cowboys seasons since Dave Campo, or worse, Chan Gailey.

Campo was way worse than Gailey.

it’s really pretty amazing that gailey put together two years with a winning record and two playoff trips (I believe) and he gets fired after two seasons for dave campo.  jerry GM’d the hell out of that coaching hire.

Not that i'm thinking they're going to be good at all...but I'd bet you're wrong. They'll win 9-10 games at least.  Campo was a 5-11 stallwart.

I know some of you guys don't even really remember him being the coach...just heard of him.

Lol.

Once again, here are 16 NFL QB's I would still rather have as my QB then pay Dak Prescott $60 million.  I removed Aaron Rogers and Trevor Lawrence from the list and added Bo Nix.

I would agree with you with the exception of Goff, Darnold, Baker, Purdy, Love, Stafford and Caleb.

Jayden Daniels now has as many playoff wins as Dak Prescott. The fact that Prescott is the highest paid player in the NFL is insane.

He was basically Dak in Det and he's so old, and may retire.

The only similarity between Matt Stafford and Dak Prescott is that both are corporeal life forms.

The only similarity is that Stafford also played for a moribund franchise.  I'd take Stafford over Dak all day every day.

Stafford and Goff all day over Dak, and I’ve been saying that for years. Would also rather have Daniels, Purdy, Baker and Love. Not sure about Caleb. Yet.

Don't forget Stroud.  Dude is really really good.

Part of that $60m is to tow the company line.

Do you think there might be a teeny-weeny chance that Jerry Jones asked Dak to make that statement? I can't think of any other reason Dak would say something so embarrassing, unless, maybe he's...stupid?

YARN | Or he could just be a fuckin' idiot. Historically, that's been the case | The Sopranos (1999) - S06E19 Drama | Video clips by quotes | 865ad777 | 紗

there wasn’t much else he could say.  if he goes the other way he’d get criticized for that too.  just empty words, it doesn’t mean anything.  he’s still going to shit his pants when the games matter, because he’s a fraudulent talentless piece of shit.

It's not any worse than his performance on the field.

no, this is correct. In Dallas, you have to tow the company line, as in haul the piece of shit down the road. I mean, let’s be corporeal here.

The NFL today informed teams that the 2025 per-team salary cap will fall in the range of $277.5 million to $281.5 million, way up from last year's $255.4 million. Cap will have increased by more than $53 million over the last two years.

And Jerry and Stephen will still sell us lies about how there's only so much pie to go around and all these contracts when we see other teams do it all the fucking time.

OH, BTW that "60 mil" QB really isn't hurting the cap at all. Never did honestly.  That's a 43mil cap hit this year, and 35mil next year(and then we can cut him if ya'll are still adamant about it and be free...so will Dak, thankfully)

The 60mil is a "shock" number to make all of the talking heads rabble on when it's just jerry's money they spent...had not real impact on the cap to prevent them from getting better, as those idiots in the front office claimed.

1st ballot HOF wasted career

These OL had more 1st Team All-Pro seasons than Zack Martin.

Jim Otto- 10

Anthony Munoz- 9

Jim Parker- 8

Zack Martin- 7

I'd still take Larry Allen as best alltime Cowboy OL, but damn.
