Hollered loud enough to run off the bad cat

I just went nuts and I barely follow these guys.

Doesn't make a shit though - need to go finish.

Hello Western Conference finals! Also respect to Mark Schieffle for playing tonight. Rest in peace to his father.

My 9yo had tears in his eyes when Scheifle went to the penalty box. I asked what’s up and he said “that’s the guy whose dad died and he’s playing for his dad. You’d want me to play too right, dad?” I said “Hell ya man. Nothing could make me more proud.”

I wanted the PP instead of the penalty shot and it had everything to do with it being Steel.

Glad it worked out like it did.

These playoffs feel like they started 3 months ago and Stars are just half way with 8 wins.

Tech education at work.

I mean, we should expect Steel to get his 2nd goal of the playoffs on the same night as his first, right glue boy?

Just wicked effective on offense.

Why don’t you chill out big guy. Sam Steel is not a guy you want taking a penalty. The Star’s power play is over 30% this postseason.

Can’t imagine you could process it in the moment, but the best play for win would be to not trip steel and make him beat hellebuyck on a dead sprint knowing there are two guys behind him.  Even tougher than a penalty shot. If they could recognize it was steel receiving the puck in time to actually make the decision.

Fair enough. My bad. Sorry for being a dick.

We're all batting for the same team here - go Stars. Let's go get #2.

I'll almost certainly be by the Michelob Ultra draft station in that corner close to section 103/104.  In a black long sleeve shirt with Stars logo (on a winning streak with that shirt so can't change it up LOL).

I think I saw you, green stars hat? If that was you, you were engaged with about 5 people after the 2nd.

That’s where I am.  Fuck the Blues.  I was there for game 7 at the AAC in 2016 when they destroyed the Stars 6-1.  And then there was game 7 in 2019. So fuck them.

Winnipeg staying alive is better for the league.  I got nothing against them. Until now. So fuck them too.  Stars in 6.

I’ll quote myself.

I love Sam Steel and his moustache as much as anyone, but I would rather see a PP in the playoffs than a penalty shot by him.

I think most people forget Steel was a first round pick; he's also 0-48 shootout attempts so your inclination is correct

Not a pretty route, but beautiful result. Go Stars!!!!!!!!!

Crazy that they’re starting ecf first, with tor and fla still having a game to play.  Very happy with that. Borders on too much rest for edm.

So we can play without doing dumb shit that results in penalties.

let’s keep doing that.

Especially against fucking Edmonton.  Their PP is lethal.

This Hellebuyck redemption arc feels extremely forced. He had a terrible playoffs overall. He made 18 saves on 20 shots tonight. Enjoy the offseason.

What is this in reference to? He didn't lose this game, but he didn't save it either

ESPN announcers, Leah Hextall, ticket post-game guys. Trying to downplay how shit he has been up until game 5 of this series overall.

realllyyyy hope we turn Miro loose. skating 11/7 is clearly taking a physical toll on Rantanen and would love some balanced lines. Felt like they were phasing out Ilya tonight. Blackwell would be a nice jolt to return
