Guillory is the kid who showed up to Junior Day (or a similar event) with a camera crew and entourage. He seems a bit much.

Here's 2024. 3 of 11 made the playoff. I wouldn't be convinced there is a correlation based on one year.

Ohio State won a championship because of that class that included Downs, Howard, and Judkins. The others on this list have contributors that helped them reach the playoffs this year.

Sark wasted a year of Arch Manning last season because he failed to fill in gaps through the portal. And failing to upgrade the RB position in 23 and 24 cost us a championship in one or both of those years.

FSU is a better destination than I thought Wisner would end up. Good for him.

Parker wasn't going to make starter money here, and that's pretty much the full story. He's the only one who has left that I'm sad to see go. But with Mosley, Wingo, and portal guy; we couldn't promise him anything for next year. That said, if it's Oklahoma, I hope he's ass.

That ASU back looks really good. Looks like what Niblett could have become in the reality where he ended up at RB.

He's going to cost a fucking fortune for a safety and it'll be a 1 year, off to the 1st or 2nd round thing. And yeah, he almost went to Ohio State out of high school. I'd assume they're all over him.

I always get the impression that SEC yokels are the people afraid of big cities and always sit facing the door of restaurants

Not really seeing the problem here, pal.

To be fair, Arch Manning did a pretty great fucking job of wasting last season for about oh, 7 games. 6 out of the first 7 games, plus the first half of Miss St. There were other problems with this team, obviously, but an average performance, just average, by Arch against Ohio St. and Florida, probably wins us both of those games.

Oklahoma gets LLOYD AVANT and what do we have to show for the portal so far???

Is this sarcasm? I assume it's not because you generally seem humorless. But it's a particularly ironic post considering Texas's two RB targets so far in this portal cycle have failed to enter the portal for those big dollars.

I think the moonshot stuff was just typical $9.95 bullshit

we went from the greatest weekend ever expected in the history of the portal $9.95 please to wait it could still be good, keep reading and paying 9.95, that trio of kicker, punter and long snapper is just what we needed to get the ball rolling. it's rolling baby it's rolling! pay me 9.95.

it's so fucking stupid.

First up … Miami DL transfer Donta Simpson (Hollywood, Fla./Chaminade-Madonna) is scheduled to visit Texas Tuesday.

The Texas visit will be followed by trips to Illinois, Washington and possibly SMU.

—————

And on Wednesday, LSU NG transfer Zion Williams (Lufkin, Texas/High) is scheduled to visit Texas.

The 6-4, 350-pounder went into the portal with a no contact tag.

Should Texas make this offer, it would be as a development NG to add more size over the ball to go with Ian Geffrard and Josiah Sharma.

Now with this its taken it a step further, now hes the loser kid in school whos mom had to bribe people to come to his birthday party. Even once you are there you can't wait to leave, even with the clown, petting zoo and magician it doesn't change the fact you never ever wanted to be there...thanks for the cash loser

Are transfers that haven't signed yet able to play next year? Or do they have to sit out a year because it's Monday afternoon on the 3rd day?

No sorry it's already over because Indiana signed a wide receiver from NC State or something.

It's apparent to me, based on his outward displays, that Cody Campbell will probably move on from Tech athletics and run for political office within a year or two.

I’m thrilled he’s gone, it puts an end to the constant coddling this board does of him. The different reactions to him leaving compared to Wisner or Moore have been hilarious. They all did the same damn thing, except Livingstone went more out of his way to trash the program and then went to OU.

“All In” has to be up there with “Winning is hard” and the “The cake has been baked” for all time quotes when it comes to Texas football lmao

I am in agreement there but a tier 1/2 RB would have helped take a ton of pressure off of Arch. Specifically Ohio State when Texas got stuffed on multiple 4th downs in plus territory. Also Arch was the the least of our problems against Florida outside of 2 bad throws.
