Supposedly Ohio St is trying to get him so that's probably the one to be worried about if he enters. Although they already have Bo Jackson so doesn't really make sense

Two years ago they already had TreVeyon Henderson and they still tampered Quinshon Judkins into the portal so it wouldn't surprise me if they were going hard after Baugh.

Do we expect Jordan Washington back? I sort of forgot he existed the last month or so of the season.

He had that great catch in the spring game two years, I told my brother watch this dude... nothing... idk what hes up to, but Townsend looks better as does Winston.

This is going to take a $1M offer isn't it?

More than that

I’d have to hunt it down but the numbers I saw discussed were that we were offering $1.5M and UF was “only” willing to go to $1.25M.

Wells says Wisner is staying

Even if we only start Wisner against OU and A&M, he’s worth it.

He’d be a great change of pace back to pair with a bruiser like Baugh. I think Sark would love an offense where he could give it to Baugh 20-25 carries a game and Wisner 10-15 with some screens worked in. Of course, you’d need an O-Line that could give them some holes to run through, but that kind of tandem would be ideal if you can pull it off.

A player who shows up every time we play one of our rivals, willing to stick it out despite the staff looking to recruit someone better

Still reasons to love college ball. Some players just want to be a Longhorn.

Plus, he is from the greatest high school in the history of high schools.

Another really good RB option

This is a great option. 5.9 ypc in P4 behind a shitty OL. Should absolutely be a target.

More kids from Auburn we were a finalist for

Auburn had one of the best run Ds in the SEC this year, statistically. If this guy started 8 games for it, he's probably pretty good.

With Wisner staying, and somebody else coming in (wink wink Baugh…or somebody else from the portal), maybe he doesn’t see getting any opportunities at Texas.

I got cooper penciled in as third string Simon and Clark are odd man out

On top of that, he's a veteran who's proved it on the field. He can definitely be a leader in that room even if he's not RB1.

You find a spot no questions asked for a guy named Hollywood Smothers.

"Hollywood & Arch" could be the 2020s version of "Miami Vice." Two buddies from opposite sides of town pool their talents to score TDs while also battling a notorious impermissible benefits cartel run by Reggie Bush and Johnny Manziel. Barry Switzer plays himself.

Simon might surprise. I think the dude is better than Clark. Im betting he’s the 2nd string scat back going into the season.

Wisner is the starter barring injury, with Cooper or a transfer as 2.

if Cooper is as advertised, he might be starting by mid season, transfer or not.

Neither is going to be starting because we're bringing in the starter from the portal.

Who?

And maybe. Remember what happened with Baxter? He was the 2024 starter we wouldn’t miss 24 very much. Then the offseason injury. 2 years later we are still trying to fill that void.

Have you not read anything in this thread?

Lots of speculation. Nothing definitive.

the guy that I believe is most likely (Baugh) hasn’t been confirmed as in yet…

If not him then Lacy. Or someone else.

Wisner coming back prevents the need for 2, imo.

I wonder if Lefau will be deciding to stick around with Muschamp coming on board. Muschamp is known for producing great linebackers.

May be the other way around. Maybe he knew PK was headed out the door, putting him on a level playing field with Smith and Barnes with regard to learning a new system. Will be interesting to see if this changes our defensive portal strategy.

Could be a name to watch if Texas needs a backup option for Baugh/Lacey:

Was a stud behind Jonah Coleman at UW and shredded Oregon. 220 pound back with vision. Husky fans are really bummed, I think he'd have been a 1,000 yard guy next year.

Wait a minute...you think a 20 year old entered the portal because he knew the d coordinator was leaving and just didn't tell anyone?

Heh, when you phrase it like that it does sound kind of wack. I don't really think one thing or the other, just speculating really.

I get it from the hookers. It's been my experience that dead hookers don't need blow.......uh......

I mean, you're not wrong. Why would they? You killed them, er I mean they were already dead, so why should you let it go to waste? All you're doing is making sure it goes from point A (their hands) to point B (your nose and lips). It's pretty simple

Now, as for mine, he uses iike 6 aliases for some reason. He's like "Today, I'm Muhammad," but out of confusion I ask him him why a middle eastern name? He says to me "how many Muhammad's sell coke?" Touché I guess? So I'm like, just give me the MDMA so I  can wallow in sadness and feel good at the same time.

Huh. I just saw he won the Landry award coming out of HS. Lots of yikes to yeah, they deserved it. Est. 2010

Johnathan Gray - Texas (win it twice in 2010/2011. Could have been a generational talent had he not torn both of his achilles. If he got one year of rest for his legs, I bet those injuries ether don't happen, or it's something minor. Even after the injuries you could see he had so much talent)

Jake Oliver - Texas (2012)

Myles Garrett - aggy (2013. Uh, yeah. The only true aggy I wish played for Texas, which he would have if we didn't have a colossal failure in Mack Brown to Charlie Strong, who didn't even bother trying to recruit or put the most effort possible to get him. Charlie Strong in a sentence. Generational talent.)

Kyler Murray - ou/aggy (2014. Uh, yeah. Sucks Calvin couldn't help us out here more instesd of his red ass dad. I have to question Kyler's intelligence if it took him from January to the middle of the season to realize he fucked up. Generational talent)

Jett Duffey - tech (2015. No clue who this is.)

Kennedy Brooks - ou (2016. No idea why or how, but I guess the pickings were slim that year)

John Stephen Jones - Arky (2017 have never heard of him)

TJ McDaniel - SMU (2018 no clue about him. I know he transfered to SMU from Northern Arizona)

Jaxon Smith-Njigba - tOSU (2019 Ths is a no shit, and a fuck you to both Tom Herman and Drew Merhinger for being fucking retarded and flip flopping. No wonder you both fail)

Jojo Earle - unlv (2020 college journeyman from starting off at Bama then transferring to TCU and now it's time to try a level just above 3A football at unlv)

John Hoover - TCU (2021 I had heard the name, but otherwise he's a non-entity. I don't know if he pans out or not since he's just a Soph, but I'm willing bet he won't)

Jackson Arnold - ou/Aub (2022 I mean, what else can be said? Quite literally all of us (or the majority of us) said he will absolutely suck ass in college, while ou fans knawed and hissed, and then saw the product on the field and said "yeah, he's fucking terrible. We need a hard reset. We let Gabriel walk for this piece of shit?)
