Yeah, she probably spent way too much money on those leather pants that she wore to her dead husband's thing.

Sometimes you gotta spend a little on your look to impress the right audience when you're seeking upward career mobility. Like possibly Fox prime time host or second lady of the United States.

My wife (Borat voice but no pics) pumped out 2 kids that are 20 and 18 years old now and she still looks younger than Erika Kirk.
That evil warps these maga bitches quickly.

The recap is 100x better than spending your time watching the real thing.

Good stuff.

One clip I saw with an Erica Kirk quote he highlighted really stood out to me.

"Do you want your kid to be a thought leader, or an assassin?"

An idiotic binary choice, both political pawns. These people are ghouls.

You Bet!

Idiotic binary choice, because clearly her husband proved to be both: a ThOUgHt lEaDer and an assassin

I mean he got himself killed

Hahaha! Please, tell me this was intentional,

At one point she just started listing conspiracy theories about Charlie Kirk's murder, and it wasn't clear if she was doing it for laughs or because the audience was meant to believe that debunking these theories is a matter of grave importance. Erika Kirk, somehow, makes for even worse TV.

I miss the days when conspiracies were fun, like the mysterious spate of unexplained spontaneous combustions plaguing the nation back in the 1980s.

It always seemed to happen to people living in trailer parks for some inexplicable reason. 🤔

Yes, and so was this line:

I kinda get it now with these particular types of Christians always talking about demons.

Probably run into a lot of sociopaths in their own circles. Bad people that try to hide it with piety and projection.

The Devil’s greatest trick wasn’t convincing the world he didn’t exist.

It was convincing it that God does.

Great stuff. off topic, but I read that about the advertisers and clicked through to the Variety article, which contains this line:

Quote

Viewers of the telecast on WCBS, CBS’ flagship station in New York, even saw a commercial for Chia Pet, the terra-cotta figure that sprouts plant life after a few weeks.

Yeah that's not how plants work, Hollywood.

A lot of their demons either come in a bottle or in the shape of a pill.

Meanwhile, my FIL gets all his "news" from The Free Press now.  He thinks Weiss is brilliant and some sort of "middle of the road" news source.  He's also one of those people that threw up their hands around 2018 and proclaimed that he didn't know which news sources were true anymore and BOTH SIDES were terrible.

Very much so.

The problem is social media, bringing all these nuts together and then strength in numbers.

Actually, the opposite.

The people in today's world that promote themselves as "Christ Followers" or "Jesus is King" bullshit. I treat those as immediate red flags. Clearly not a full proof method, but I don't have any patience for that kind of bullshit. Was Sherrone Moore following Christ when he assaulted his side piece and threatened to kill himself? Dude clearly has serious issues but tried to hide and temper it through his religious advertisements.

And all these devout "Christian" Republican closeted homosexuals that project their own shame on the rest of society masked as family values. Fuck them. To me there is nothing worse than damaged people projecting and inflicting their pain onto others.

This season of South Park is pretty on point on this subject. Jesus goes full Christian and hits rock bottom

Yes, an older friend of mine (retired educator and good man) who despises Trump/MAGA started getting into Bari Weiss's podcasts and recommended them to me. He was surprised when I pushed back on her, but to his credit, listened to my criticisms. Unfortunately it's incredibly difficult to find sincere "thought leaders" in our current environment.

Yep, these people used to be confined to the back rooms of bookstores or student unions or some cheap restaurant late at night. They very clearly knew their views were not mainstream, and it was not easy to spread them around.  Here in 2025, they can blast it out to all of their relatives at no cost, within seconds, not to mention around the world.

Erika should look to sell TPUSA to one of these other grifters while there is still some value left in it. I know there's still money to be made but not with her at the helm. There are too many of the TPUSA crowd that do not want to be associated with a company led by a woman. besides there is zero indication that she can lead it anyway.

Charlie had a misdirected gift to always have a response that would sound reasonable to his followers even when he was completely in the wrong. She doesn't have that ability and looks to pause when she realizes that she on the bad side of the argument. And she can't always fall back to crying to get out of a tough spot.

The Tyler Robinson situation proves that none of this is about truth and justice with MAGA and right wing media. It's just about narrative. And his motivation wasn't provocative enough for them.

What's the latest on the assassin, I thought he was some left wing nut?  All we get are crickets on that subject.

Yeah the silence, on his political motivations, is deafening. It's actually very weird that all media sources are so quiet about him. I know there is an element that some media outlets do not like to publicize assassins/murderers even in mentioning their names but political assassinations should be viewed as a different category than mass shootings, IMO.

Was this guy so reclusive and hide his tracks so well that no one knows anything about him? I assume there is some level of mental illness about him.

Hell The "I've Had It" Podcast nailed it - if this was about real solutions, justice or the like, people would call for real gun reform. But no one on the right has called for that - it's never been mentioned. Because a martyr in Charlie is worth far more as a talking point than any real solutions that could come from this situation.

Mike Johnson is holding on Line 1, Stephen Miller on Line 2, Jim Jordan on Line 3, Ted Cruz on Line 4, Matt Gaetz on Line 5, and 314 other Republicans are getting a busy signal when they call in.....

Ted Cruz always falls back to an argument that he will support gun control reform as soon as someone proves to him that it will 100% stop gun violence perhaps even all violence. Which is a bar that is as ridiculous as much as he is.
