The origin of all this is that she apparently went on a rant about the commercialization of Nashville and said she hated country music. Don't believe she said anything about Christians.

ETA "I hate the city, I hate the bachelorettes, I hate the pedal taverns, I hate country music, I hate all of the things that make Nashville apparently an ‘it’ city to the rest of the country.”

Substitute "Austin" for Nash Vegas, and I'm pretty much right there with her.  The stuff that makes Austin or Nashville "it" cities today are generally things I hate.

I will say that there is still some good country music around.  It's just not what's drawing the big crowds.  Luke Bryan sells out stadiums, Red Volkaert kinda fills the Continental Club.

Also, get off my lawn.

So basically she hates the same things that like 70% of the people who have lived around there for more than 10-15 years hate.

I think if a congressional candidate for TX-10 or TX-21 saying “I hate the city, I hate 6th street, I hate the comedy scene, I hate the tech bros, I hate all the things that make Austin an “it” city to the rest of the country.” they would net gain votes.

Is it too late to vote for her?

Yeah, this.  Every single person in Nashville hates the peddle pubs.

Outlying counties are coming in, nothing from Davidson yet. The outlying counties will all go 70/30 Epps, so Davidson vote numbers will be key.

Turnout in Williamson County is going to be critical for Van Epps.  It is the most educated county in the district. But unusually for such a well-educated area, it is heavily Republican.

Van Epps either needs to hold trump’s margin or run up the score with a good turnout. He doesn’t need to do both. But he can’t do neither.

Him her…you get it.

It feels like a Double-A version of Las Vegas with better weather but worse food/music. Sensory overload both places.

Not just Republican but the capital of MAGA-stan.
