I was recommending the downtown spot, regardless.  I actually didn't think the pizza at the Anderson Lane location was as good.  It was hard to pick Backspace over Buffalina Due or Little Deli, both within walking distance, or Homeslice or Feral a short drive south.

Easiest choice in that area, Conan's reigns supreme over all of them. :)

I recommend “All Day Pizza” in Hyde Park.

Sell by the slice and basically two slices is half a pizza.

They have Meanwhile Brewing in can and some others on tap.

Pizza is more thin crust with a thicker, doughy edge. It is really good pizza.

Re: AllDay-their pizza is good but it’s also BORING. There are zero recipes on their menu that invite a “this might be good but it might also be tragic, let’s find out.”

Was looking to branch out and try something new, so came to this thread and got Conan's last night.  Never again.  Lamest, most bready ass crust I've ever had on a pizza.

Oh no - not boring pizza.

I feel like Ron Swanson here: "This is pizza. It has dough, sauce, and cheese. Add pepperoni if you want. I don't care."

I don't mind an adventurous pizza but I'm perfectly fine with a boring pizza.

Then there are better, cheaper options than a $28 pepperoni pizza from All Day.

I don’t like their pizza because it’s sloppy to eat, but I used to live down the street from the original East Side Pies and they were always rolling out with something unusual.
