If you were, you confused me with "You're family whether you like it or not". That, my friend, is not a good fuck buddy. Unless she has hot, younger sisters.

you and your wife are family and y'all ... oh i see

News says Putin (and Trump to a degree) got played last week.  Ukraine calls Putin's bluff and accepts the offer of 1:1 peace talks in Turkey.  Trump suggest's he'll come too.  Then Putin bails at the last second and makes Trump look bad.  Hurt his feelings.  Sad.

Not likely we're gonna give them more kickass American weapons, but the offense must be punished.  Maybe some more sanctions.  Regardless, the drop in oil prices is accelerating Russia's economic decline.

Next step is to see how Russia's summer offensive goes.  Let's hope Ukraine keeps the dead meat:acres lost number very high.  At some point Russia WILL run out of meat.  Sooner > later.

It seems to me that Ukraine should target Kadyrov. It wouldn’t escalate the war and the Chechnya/Georgia turmoil could expedite the fall of Russia.

So did anything happen from that call that was scheduled this morning?

It was a tremendous call, really tremendous.  The best call, really.  A call the likes of which we've never seen.  We're going to get a great deal, a fantastic deal, you won't believe how great this deal is, and I'll be telling you about this great deal very, very soon.  Nobody but me could get a deal this amazing, really.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Putin got Trump to chase his tail a little more by floating the idea of agreeing to begin work on working on a memo.  And apparently volunteered Pope Leo as mediator because he’s getting bored with the whole thing.

I'm going to assume the Polish friendship was one of the special ones.

In my experience those folks cherish friendship like no other. You're family whether you like it or not. Also you will be drunk and well fed. Very very drunk.

Yes, a very special friendship with the Pole and the Ukrainian. Only special (making out, light petting) with the Colombian and Bulgarian. 1-3-2-4, although the Bulgarian had just a knockout personality. I would party with her at any time.

There is a YouTube channel that I saw a video on recently and I'm hesitant to post specific videos here because of the nature of the content.

It seems like they get videos from both AFU and RUS and then put them all together to show an entire engagement from both sides. Now, I think what they are actually doing is grabbing a bunch of footage and essentially using it as stock clips to stand in for their narrative, but the way it's presented is wild.

Ceasefire my ass

I'm in no way diminishing the loss of 1 life nor the unknown injuries of 13 others. That said, the drone to effect rate and the ROI is something I'm extremely curious about given the state of the Russian economy.

Piling on Norks or poor Russian gimps to die is one extremely poor engagement strategy, but let's be sadly honest, Russian and Nork lives are much cheaper than technology like drones/missles and the goods/products needed to produce them. I hate to be so horribly crass, but finance is a massive part of this war on both sides.

It’s not a glitch, it’s a feature.  St. Petersburg is built on a swamp and they used the bodies of dead workers as fill.

A Russian man born in 1920 had like a 25% chance of being alive in 1947. Or something.

Chechnya war.  Russian soldiers hadta literally eat dogs.

Ukraine.  “Recon by meat.”  Send a buncha rubes across the front line.  Ukraine opens up the machine guns and kills them, and expose their own position.  Russia sends drones.

If Russian leaders don’t mind sending them to die, we don’t either.  Kill them faster.  More.  Only way this war will be won.

I don't think they can afford to stop. There's some thought that the war economy is propping up an otherwise shaky manufacturing sector. Plus, the ego has to be fed. They can't stop, won't stop.

This. The economy is a House of Cards, the war stops and things get so bad in Russia that there will be a coup. Putin knows this.

War is Peace.

Perpetual war is part of the Putin plan.  See Transnistria, Ossetia, Abkhazia...

Maybe you should work on reading comprehension jack ass. Or maybe I need to work on my writing skills, doesn't matter.

I asking essentially wondering why Russia was using more expensive drones and missiles rather than continuing with traditional Russian strategies. Ya know, throwing shit tons of Russian and Nork lives at tbe problem. Also wondering what the variance of the cost and why they were being so stupid.

I honestly think it aligns to the Russian propaganda machine plans. Losing a bunch of more expensive drones appears, on the "surface" as a lower loss than videos from Ukraine showing Russians and Nork gimps getting their asses handed to them.

If everyone fought for their own convictions there would be no war.

Crime is Punishment - maybe?

But yeah, ongoing war is old KGB cannon and Putin is nothing if not a old school KGB mindset.

He's never surrendering despite what it costs because all other factors aside his ego, narcissistic soul and KGB genetics won't let him.

Not sure why the ahem.. "western" leaders struggle with this reality.

I think it's ego and ideology first, economy second in Putin's mind, but yeah.
