  3. I thought we quit having to pretend the B12 administration was neutral toward Texas when the commissioner was recorded publicly cheering against us. For Tech, btw. I am sure our Tech visitor can provide plenty of other examples of other conference officials expressing a desire in favor of one of their member schools losing a game prior to officials in his employ officiating said game. B12 refs were and are bad, maybe not the worst. Their calls are marked by incompetence, unconscious bias, and deliberate favoritism, depending on the ones at issue. And often their calls are correct. Blind squirrels and nuts.
  4. LOL. 1. My change had nothing to do with the board. Ask Ima. 2. It's not about disagreement. It's about banging the same fucking drum every gotdam day in a particular thread. Quote me on the trolling, and I'll give the past 5 years to search. 3.. Nobody on here is starting shit, yet the same couple of dumbfucks every day do their trolling run.
  5. The CBA is very light on the requirements to make a violation. Penalties include voiding any player contract extending or renegotiation and suspension of one year. Kawhi might finally get his comeuppance.
  6. I don’t care if there’s zero construction and 8 lanes in each direction existing, it’ll still suck.
  7. I hope all you DFW people show up in full force tonight!!
  8. Well it’s been a hell of a run these last 9 years.
  9. Please, those shoes aren't even worth the plastic to break them down and remake them into Sabrina's shoe, which was the 2nd most worn sneaker in the NBA last year.
  10. Except it doesn’t. It spins around and then goes off on a markedly different course. The debris from the impact that is picked up on this sensor also goes off on the same trajectory. And you can’t tell in this short clip about altitude and what happens next, it’s entirely possible that this thing is in the process of crashing. We at least have to share a common understanding of what we see; and this is not an object that sustains its original flight path after it’s been hit with a missile.
  11. Good to know, I am taking that flight to CDMX with them in a few months.
  12. wtf are you talking about it is barely an hour away from Des Moines, Cedar Rapids and Waterloo. For real though, I know nothing about Grinnell. What is the draw vs. other small liberal arts colleges that are in less remote locales?
  13. I think that's a bullshit, childish response. She never asked for the prof to be fired so why would anyone but a stupid aggy bring it up? He should have told her this is what the syllabus description. This is what the prof is going to teach. This is departmental policy. This is school policy. If you don't like it, you can go to school at a different school.
  14. Hey, that construction between Huntsville and Corsicana will be finished in, um, 2095?
  15. I do both. But I was in Montana all summer, away from my home gym. I could have joined a gym -- my wife and kids did -- but I decided to let hiking and push ups/squats be my workouts. There is one trail I did almost every morning very early -- 8 miles up and back -- to summit the ski mountain. And I hiked some long and very hard hikes in Glacier a 1 to 2 times a week with serious elevation. I averaged about 25,000 steps per day and equivalent of 250 floors of elevation (2500 feet) just hiking and walking. I was just hoping not to lose strength while gone. But I came back stronger and fitter than when I left despite not lifting weights. Was kind of nice just being in nature and not in the gym for almost three months. One thing I don't know now that I am doing pushups and weights, is whether I should take some days off. I do not know the science on that. I started taking off from pushups Wednesdays and Sundays. Then Monday morning I check my max number of pushups I can do. It goes up 2 to 3 per week. Each week I add 1 pushup to my set. It is slow and steady but seems to be working.
  16. Alternative facts, my dude. There was a time not that long ago that a "conservative" would have an aneurysm because they were told to only trust what the government says, and not their own eyes and ears.
  17. This is more like its reality…
  18. How bad does he want that Nobel Peace Price? Because Putin is shitting all over that for him. Not that he ever had a practical chance mind you, but he believes he does, and he knows Putin is shitting on any chance he believes he has at it. It is embarrassing that he's scared of Putin. It's a good thing he doesn't follow Julia Davis and others covering Russian state media, because he'd absolutely believe that any given week, NYC or D.C. were about to be nuked.
  19. Do you think absolutely exploding the national debt, without open warfare, was normal? It is normal to fuck over US embassy personnel?
  20. I'm more for the states seceding that are net positive contributors if it came to that. Let those that rely on the feds the most have them. We'd have to move but that's ok. To be clear, in my heart I'm not for any breakup of this country but it does seem plausible.
  21. I thought Glory Hole Harmon said nobody watches Texas games: Highest-rated games of Week 2: Michigan-Oklahoma (ABC): 9.700M Ole Miss-Kentucky (ABC): 4.800M Iowa-Iowa State (FOX): 4.278M San Jose State-Texas (ABC): 3.700M Delaware-Colorado (FOX): 2.685M Oklahoma State-Oregon (CBS): 2.320M Illinois-Duke (ESPN): 2.007M Grambling-Ohio State (BTN): 1.831M Kansas-Missouri (ESPN2): 1.812M Boston College-Michigan State (NBC): 1.643M
  22. Except now we have a federal government that will support the South, probably even take up arms in its defense.
  23. Has anyone asked if this would also apply to collegiate football, or sports in general? I don't care to venture forth, but as I suspect, logical thought has no place there.
  24. But I don't have 10k posts on any other school's message board....
