looks juicy and tender. 2/2 would recommend.

@Chief Ouray Allow me to explain. First, everything in that policy is a well-documented, factual, and valid criminal justice concern. Really every prosecutor should bear every one of those things in mind in every case s/he handles. Prosecutors have a tendency to become self-righteous and/or play the "win game." Anything that's a reminder that criminal justice is not all about wins and losses is a huge plus. And, one of the huge problems here in the US, where we incarcerate more people both gross and per capita than any place in the world is a neglect of the fact that most of these people are going back into society at some point. All-prison all-the-time ignores that immutable fact.

That Correa stuff definitely has legs. All about how much salary the Twins will eat. Twins are motivated to get off the contract with their potential sale. I guess I can see the vision of Correa at third and Paredes to second next year. Also sounds like Paredes is done for the year. The easiest way for us to add to the ML club is to deal from the ML club and the even easier way is to absorb salary like Correa or Arenado but thats all on Crane. Would have been better just to have signed Bregman this offseason instead of revisiting Carlos but oh well. Dana has to get a fuck ton done in the next 48 hours, standing pat and saying "Getting our guys off the IL is like making a trade" will make me vomit blood. Need 2 bats and a starter...hell I have no problem taking on all of Correas salary if the Twins throw in Joe Ryan and Willi Castro

He said Spence moved to edge b/c of how crowded the LBer room is. The edge room seems more crowded, to me. -
They are going to have to get an infielder if they want to make the playoffs this year. Taking on Correa's contract will drop what you have to give up for him.

I think I could have been clearer. The sentence sets up who the bad men are. I do believe men capable of those atrocities can be characterized as bad. My next sentence about any retaliation is justified is supposed to be the voice of the binary thinking I describe above that. We are in agreement that only those individuals and those who command them are responsible for those actions. You don't get a waiver to starve or bomb the Palestinians out of their home. The premise applies universally. Israel executes or encourages bad acts of violence. "Settlers," who actually proxy invaders, attacking West Bank residents and Israeli soldiers doing the same are not immune from the label bad. Bombing a family home is no more righteous than entering the home and shooting everyone. Whenever conflicts emerge, America chooses the bad guy and, simple-mindedly and true to their mythology, assign the good-guy and bad-guy roles and hold onto them no matter the overall context and subtlety of the reality. You and I are on the same team, I believe. Terrorism is a tactic. For those without bulging defense budgets, it's a strategy. See Tecumseh Sherman.

So we're well into this was/is an active cover-up at this point. The only real question remaining is whether they're covering up a murder or their own incompetence.

I gather there were two CBS News reports about Epstein's "suicide" yesterday. The second article seems equally if not more more problematic. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/jeffrey-epstein-jail-video-investigation/ CBS News investigation of Jeffrey Epstein jail video reveals new discrepancies CBS News has also sought interviews with Tova Noel and Michael Thomas directly and through their attorneys. They have not responded but have previously denied any involvement in actions that could have contributed to Epstein's death. Robert Hood, a former Bureau of Prisons chief of internal affairs and warden of the Supermax facility in Colorado, said he has reviewed the inspector general's report, and in an email told CBS News: "In my opinion, the summary investigative reports don't provide adequate details concerning Epstein's death. … The BOP's new director (William Marshall) should provide internal investigative reports concerning the MCC involving Epstein's death and related historical data at the jail." Mark Epstein, Jeffrey Epstein's younger brother, has long voiced his belief that his brother did not die by suicide, but was murdered. He spoke with CBS News and said without a recording of the camera in the actual tier where Epstein was housed, it is unclear if the door to his brother's prison cell had been properly locked or if other prisoners could have had access. That tier housed as many as 14 inmates and only three voluntarily spoke to investigators, according to the IG report. Only one has been identified publicly by name. Alyssa Spady, Hannah Marr and Layla Ferris contributed to this report.

This transparency is going to contribute to the downfall. They can be counter traded. Prices can be moved by other entities to where they lose money. With this burst in retail interest, I'm sure hedge funds and other traders are now looking at how to capitalize on it. You should read about Long Term Capital Management. The best and the brightest. Nobel Prize winners. Had a great couple of years. Ended in the first big Wall St bailout.
