I’d vote for your dog over Dan
My dog's platform: no baths, no haircuts, more tummy rubs, more treats, and more naps.

I hear there's a recording of elfenix's dog saying "I just start kissing them. It's like a magnet. Just kiss. I don't even wait. And when you're a dog, they let you do it. You can do anything. Sniff 'em by the pussy. You can do anything."

Yep, that's all he could talk about on Thursday in Austin.  It was a huge majority of very conservative Republicans.  Not necessarily recent Trumper addicts, but folks that've been stalwart GOP in Texas for decades of their lives.  And he drove the point home over and over.  It's happening, we have something but not everything to do with it, and we need to make changes even if they just accidentally help the environment.  But we will not under any circumstances bear the brunt of the economic impact of what this will all do since we account for far less carbon emissions than India and China and it's bullshit what they get away with by liberals.  And he must be getting donations or votes from somebody in the the two Texas plants that area already doing carbon recovery...because he's advocating throwing hundreds of millions at them and another new one soon.

well someone has to and it sure as shit won't be poor people because they're poor.  of course, that's the point of the GND, to keep the economic burden off the masses because the masses will never vote for something that's going to make/keep them poor.

we're double india so, that's wrong.  and it ignores how much we've burned already, which is tops.  china is catching us but even at current rates it'd be another decade+ before they surpass us in cumulative carbon emissions.

what are we going to do, nuke them?  invade?  our own responsibility isn't excused by others' lack of responsibility.

well of course he is.  there's tax money to be made, the debate is over who gets it.

we already know from the tariff waivers that the trump admin has no guiding principle or transparent, predictable process, other than say nice things about trump, as to who gets benefits from the gov.  so, $500 billion with no oversight?  all of it would go to people saying nice things about trump.  plenty of which would be funneled right back into the trump campaign.

“We negotiated it in good faith” is the tell that they did not, in fact, negotiate it in good faith.

Yep.  By definition, Republicans don't do anything in good faith.

Anybody else get a letter from this guy? It's four pages railing against socialism and ending with asking me to give money to the RNC.

I'm guessing it was sent out before the $2Trillion socialism package was being discussed/approved.

Loud and stoopid describes 90% of Texas politicians. But, only Dan-O seems to want to lead the pack. Good luck beating out Cruz bud.
