It's important to remember that Chip Brown is a fraudulent cocksucker who has created false articles for hits that has intentionally hurt UT on multiple occasions.8 points

Random thoughts... - Shark and Ossai had great coverage on some of the RB wheel routes. McColloch looks so much smoother, faster, quicker now that he's lost some wieght. He's going to ball out against LSU. - Jalen Green, Foster, Brown all played very well. I know Epps had some catches on Green but he was blanketing him and also made some plays. Foster always plays the ball very well. I've seen him get beat in a few games and he'll read the WR and get his hands in the way to break up the pass. Brown is going to play. He would be starting at some very good P5 schools. Jones, Sterns, Foster, Brown, Overshown, Estell might be the best safety room in the country. - DL looked damn good. Not worried about them. I think they will be noticeably better than last years squad. Coburn beasted through a double team to cause a sack. Ossai looked very good. He needs to be on the LOS 90% of snaps. - First team OL looked okay. When Braun arrives, I expect them to be much better. Ghirmai will not be our back up center. Seems like they are grooming him but he's 2 years away. I'd expect Braun or Kerstetter to take over Center if Shack gets injured. - TEs looked like pure trash. Brewer needs to get much better and not get injured because there is nothing behind him. Wiley looks like a future NFL TE physically but I'm not sure he'd even start there at some good 5A high schools. He's a long term project. - RBs looked explosive. Whittington is going to be fucking good. We've seen what Keontay can do. Hope Kirko isn't injured. I just want that guy to play a few games so he can leave Texas on a positive note. - Sam looked terrible but we know what he can do. He plays better when he can lower his pads and actually hit. Casey will do fine as a back up. The 2nd team was trash and he still made plays. He's not going to win us games against ou, lsu, osu, etc but we can win one with him against the likes of Baylor, Kansas, Kstate, tech. - Dicker looked good. So nice to have a kicker that can make 40+ yard FGs8 points

I don’t know if this is where I am supposed to post this, but here goes nothing. As I shared in the Shaggy Dad thread, we lost our daughter to still birth at 8 months. I don’t drink at the house, i don’t drink at dinner or bars. The only time I drink is at the golf course. I’m really good at it. I’m a notoriously bad sleeper. I’ve been prescribed Ambien and Tizanadine for years to help with my sleep. Normally, it’s fine. Taking that stuff while drunk is a good way to die. I was doing that on a consistent basis. Doubling up on ambien if didn’t sleep well. With the anxiety and stress of losing our daughter, I couldn’t keep going. Panic attacks and constant anxiety became the norm. Friends and wife became worried, so I made some lifestyle changes. Off Ambien. Off Zoloft. On a new non narcotic sleep prescription that has worked way better than Ambien ever did. On prozac. And I’m taking a break from the booze. I’ve been more social than I have been in years. No problems or urges to drink. I just feel like a new person. Thanks for having a place for me to vent.7 points

Nobody on 247 has come out and said anything officially but looking like EJ doesn’t work for them anymore, he has disappeared from the board and removed all 247 stuff from his twitter. If it ends up being the case thank God we don’t have to listen to that idiot anymore.5 points

My biggest takeaway from the game is that Ahmad Brooks must get paid by the fucking word . He babbles on with a bunch of nonsensical cliches and anecdotes while completely ignoring the action on the field. HE NEVER SHUTS UP...5 points

You'd think he'd have said something funny by now, given how often he jokes around.4 points

My first thousand hours came at the controls of single and twin engine recips, mostly flight instructing. My second thousand hours came in a single-pilot twin Cessna 402 hauling DHL packages, cancelled checks, and dead peoples’ donated eyeballs in the middle of the night. Had my first ”Oh shit nearly killed myself moment” and my first engine failure at that job, not the same events. My 3rd-12th thousand hours were cutting my teeth in a regional jet for an regional airline. Learning to fly a jet with a little over 2300 hours was still like drinking from a firehose. It was fairly overwhelming sometimes and I was lucky to have some great captains to catch all my rookie mistakes. Got my first job in a big-boy size airplane with 11,700ish hours, 15 years into my career path. I’m currently in the right seat and will be for at least another 4 or 5 years. General luck and the state of the ecomomy and the industry play a huge role in the timing but that’s a pretty typical path in the US. The military guys I was hired alongside, about half of my class, all had a timeline of at least 10 years or so from O hours to airline pilot 200 hours is just a scary lack of experience. You could literally get from never-been-in-a-plane to 200 hours in a month and a half. Ideally you’d like your airline pilots to have experienced an emergency or two before they start hauling people for a living. A 200 hour guy usually hasn’t seen anything... except that one dude from Shaggy who put his Cessna down sans engine in a field a few years ago.4 points

Are you a complete moron? We have 2 out of 3 and Trump lying about both, which in reality world makes an agreement a real possibility. Hence the Mueller investigation. You tards insist that there is nothing to see and it is all a figment of Lib imagination. Foreign intelligence communities approached us with concerns for God's sake. My experience/opinion only here, not speaking for anyone else. It's important for me to remember that I have only one real trigger, and it resides within me and nowhere else. It has absolutely nothing to do with anything in this world happening externally to me. I drank when everything was shitty. I drank just as much when everything was going wonderfully. Drank when I was sad/depressed/frustrated/anxious and drank when I was happy/excited/pleased/mellow. My only trigger is an unfit spiritual condition. When I'm unfit, and persist in that state for long enough, nothing on earth can stop me from picking up a drink. When I'm in good shape spiritually, it's impossible for me to take a drink. I could no more do it than I could throw myself in front of an oncoming truck. Hope you're all having a beautiful weekend.4 points

Spring game thoughts: Glad I took a hoodie. It was cold af. Vanilla offense makes a boring game. Don’t read anything into it. Green will light you up. Our secondary is going to fucking terrify OCs. Whittington is going to be fun to watch. Casey should be fine if we need him.3 points
