No, YOU are a piss poor excuse for an American. You consistently support and defend the worst president we've ever had no matter what racist, nationalist, isolationist, incendiary bullshit comes out of his mouth. This guy is dangerous on a lot of levels, and you idiots clap along like a bunch of fucking seals. You're the people that historians will look at for decades and wonder aloud, "How could they have been so stupid?"20 points

1. Refusing to obey a police officer lawful order is a misdemeanor and does not carry a penalty of execution. 2. Fleeing and eluding a police officer is a class B misdemeanor and does not carry a penalty of execution. Three police officers penned this mans car on each side so the car could not escape. The office exited his vehicle and immediately shot into the driver side window killing the citizen. The citizen did not have a weapon. I agree that the job is dangerous. However, a citizen committing the two crimes listed above does not in any way warrant a penalty of execution. Even if it did, it is not the duty of the police office to carry out the penalty. Just because the job is dangerous and other encounters had a citizen trying to harm an officer does not make it okay for his action.12 points

Those officers requested over a dozen times for the individual to step out of the car, for almost three minutes, in a dark parking lot where that individual apparently did not belong. The suspect heightened the danger for the officers and escalated the situation. Then, the suspect took off in a car at a high rate of speed, further escalating the dangerous situation. At the point of the shooting it is blacked out, so it is unclear what actually happened at that moment. Yet, you’ve chosen to interpret the situation as being completely the officer’s fault. At some point, the issue of people ignoring officer’s instructions over and over and over, and even fleeing officers, needs to be discussed. When did this become acceptable behavior? These people are helping to escalate situations unnecessarily and are contributing to these tragic events. You have no idea how hard it is for these officers to deal with those situations. For every one of these videos where an officer appears to take action that could be interpreted as being unnecessary, there are a bunch of other events and situations where the individual does have a gun or is trying to harm the officers. I’ve worked with law enforcement for several years and I’ve seen the videos. It is a fine line between escalation and deescalation and these people need to take partial responsibility for the tragic outcomes. Whether this particular situation was the officer’s fault or not can’t be determined until the full video is shown and the complete situation is fully reviewed. It’s bs to immediately call out the officer without understanding the full situation.8 points

He read a fucking 8th grade book report and charged Americans $2.5 mil(at a minimum) in the process of handing out VIP tickets to GOP donors. A book report that bragged about how we managed to commandeer strategic airports during the revolutionary war. He could have just shut the fuck up and let the usual 4th celebration take place on the national mall, and saved the country some coin. The entire exercise was nothing more than Trump trying to rally his base, and I don't like my tax dollars being spent sucking up to Q retards expecting JFK Jr. To show up and suplex the baby Trump balloon.8 points

Dude shut the fuck up. I don't think she deserves some huge jail time or anything like that but you are not hip, not cool and not woke because you're 100% cool with people being assholes. You made your point once, that's fine, I actually agree with the notion of prison time being over the top..you keep after it like you are (including now just randomly skewering classes of people over it) and it just makes you a tool.7 points

Collins is far and away the best of these 3 players and would be a great compliment in the rolling classes of 2019 and 2021. He's the prize in this class at DL. Umanmielen would be a bonus, but I don't know that he's ever more than depth at Texas. Maybe the light turns on and he develops into a starter in year 4 and 5, but I think he'd be a career depth guy. Broughton is going to aggy and I have no problem with that. He's the worst of the 3 right now on the field and would only contribute here if he bought into playing DT, being a disrupter and then made huge strides in his technique. Not only do I not think he can rush the passer as a DE, I have SERIOUS concerns about him keeping contain/setting the edge at DE, esp in the BigXII where OCs make a living working the DEs over. TLDR: I want Collins and any way we get him is fine by me. The other 2 aren't going to change the roster enough for me to lose sleep over.5 points

Let me get this straight, we say all season long that one game isn’t going to impact a recruit’s decision and then expect the Sugar Bowl to have a HUGE impact? This team lost to a handful of teams last year that it shouldn’t lose to and barely squeaked by some that shouldn’t have been close. It’s easy for other teams and recruits to discount the Georgia win. Right now, we’re selling potential, which requires a good salesman. We obviously lack good salesmen at key positions. Texas needs to go out and handily beat teams they should send home crying AND win big games to overcome the current staff.5 points

28.6 people on average die on Austin-area roads each day and the average commute time no matter where you live is 5.3 hours. These are facts. Look them up. Don’t move here.5 points

That guy is not going to care if Trump goes on camera and lies. He wants to see asylum seekers treated harshly. He doesn't care if the eminent domain that he wars against when it's a highway or a university is used to build a fence. He damn sure doesn't care about justice or equality or anything other than being a mean sumbitch to all that oppose him.5 points

CSB warning In 1998 I was being recruited by UK and took an October visit to watch a UK/S.Carolina night game. I grew up in Florida and didn’t really know shit about any high school players outside of my home state. While on the field, before warm ups, coach Morriss drags me over to this huge kid and says I want you to meet Jared. He introduces us and tells me he’s already committed and I ask him if he’s a guard. Fair question, so I thought. Lorenzen, Morriss, and another coach I didn’t know (Leach) all start cracking up. I’m confused and they’re like no QB. Morriss says since I’m not from the area that they will cut me some slack for not knowing and goes on to tell me that he has seen him throw it 70 yards on a rope...Then leach leans in and adds, “from his knees”. Jared just shrugged and had a shit eating grin. Solid dude for the 24 hours that I knew him. Definitely gone way too soon. RIP JL5 points

At best, it may be a case of an amped up cop make a split-second horrific decision. The suspect's car was pinned between two police vehicles and appears to be neutralized as a threat. The shooter's claim that there was no weapon but the guy was trying to ram another officer with his car appears to be either a lie or part of the horrific decision for the officer to fire through the windshield of a trapped car to kill a man who showed no signs of having a weapon. Summary execution for a car chase and suspicion of a person who can still be apprehended without deadly force is a very poor standard for police action. In the 70's I and a friend in the summer after graduating high school took a wild hair trip to Austin from Houston. We didn't have anywhere to stay, so we parked down by Ladybird Lake about a half mile from I-35. I slept in the front seat of an enormous Buick, my friend in the back. I awoke to a tap on the window. An Austin cop was shining a flashlight on me. He asked me to get out. I stepped out of the car into the light of 5 or 6 cruiser headlights. I could see the doors were open, but nothing else. I imagine 6-10 pistols were pointed at me. The cop who rousted me, was calm. Asked what we were doing there. My friend never did anything but hand his licence out the back window. He never even sat up. The cop heard my story. Said it was illegal to do what we were doing, but we could finish the night there. Just don't do it again. I'm white. That helps. But watching this video, I wonder if today, when my friend just stuck his hand out the window with his licence, if some officer there might not have jumped to the conclusion it was a threat and opened fire. How do the odds change if I were a sleepy, black man? I didn't take off like the guy in the video. But say I panicked and did. People do. Would I have taken one through the forehead after I was trapped by their cars? Would my parents have been okay with that? The community? The pat answer of "these guys have a tough job and the guy did the wrong thing by not obeying" is not nearly justification for the killing of a citizen (or non-citizen). Flush that response out of your head. You're enabling the worst elements of the police force.4 points

No--that's what's going on. He had no idea that "ramparts" is a real word. And we know from previous experience that he doesn't know the words to the Star-Spangled Banner. So when he was confronted with a word on his TelePrompTer that he didn't recognize, he did what any person with a 2nd-grade intellect would do--he substituted in a word that he knew. It's really not that hard to understand. As someone who has a second-grader living in his house, I see it all the time.4 points

About 20 years ago we were standing out front with a neighbor (whom we didn’t know very well) from several houses down watching other neighbors shoot off a shit ton of fireworks in the street. The HOA had sent out a news letter a week before reminding us about the Neighborhood fireworks ban. Mrs. Brat casually commented, “I wonder who the asshole is who sent out that stupid letter”. (Direct quote) Of course the neighbor said “ I did”, making me spew a little bit of my beer. We didn’t know he was on the HOA board. We did become friends later after he was no longer on the board. That still gives us (me & Mrs. Brat) a laugh every New Years & 4th of July.4 points

Buddy and I wanted to make a decent meal but we didn’t want to go to the store during the Astros game last night, so we worked with what we had: eggplant, tomatoes, cheese, and other various shit. We breaded the eggplant, then put that on top of the sauce, then added tomato and 2 kinds of cheese, then baked. Wasn’t bad at all4 points

Wtf? She may be as crazy as Zach (although that's a tall bar to clear) but at equal fault? She has equal blame for her domestic abuse? I am somehow suspicious that what you've heard from OSU AD is 100% true and accurate, but even if it is, this is a horrible fucking post.4 points
