  2. I'd figure Baylor would wait to see if Franklin gets let go at Penn State. Then they could install the culture they really love.

  3. Lest we forget, Trump is just the personification of a stupid hate movement. His power comes from the manipulation of the stupid and the stupid usually lose in the end. There's a reason homo sapiens came to dominate the planet, and its not because we were more physically powerful than the sabertooth fucking tiger. *hits his bong* So we've got that going for us, which is nice.

  4. Eh. It was a disappointing season. But being ranked is better than not being ranked, especially when it's hilariously one spot ahead of the ags.

  10. Meet more. The range of personalities associated with high IQ is just as vast as the range of personalities in the population generally. Emotional processing is almost entirely divorced as a developmental concept from level of intelligence; likewise, level of intelligence is almost entirely divorced from the idea of performance, with the obvious caveat that you have to at least have a certain level to achieve goals within a given set of tasks -- but we've already established that the level of intelligence required for a football coach is ridiculously low. If anything, the smartest guys in the coaching profession are usually not the top performers, especially if they are in love with the idea of being smart. John Mackovic comes to mind immediately. Anyway, I've known plenty of brilliant functional regards. More, in fact, than I've known brilliant high-performers.

  11. I took my four little kids to see Santa after Thanksgiving a few years back, as parents do. I see Santa spending an inordinate amount of time in a conversation with my daughter and middle son, ages 6 and 4 at the time. They look concerned and they’re looking at me. My wife and I are a little like “wtf?”. Anyway, they eventually come over and we wait for the picture and check out. My wife asks my daughter what they talked to Santa for so long about and she proceeds to explain that Santa was telling them that I won’t be getting any gifts for Christmas because I am a sip, and if they grow up to be “sips” that attend UT, they won’t get any gifts either. I realized I had a UT shirt on. Now, that is fucking unbelievable. But it’s also a dilemma. Do you confront the fucking idiot dressed up as someone they think has some level of authority over their holiday outcomes, and become the guy that attacked Santa in public? Or just explain it away to your kids? Only an aggie is that shitty of a human being and that stupid of an individual. Which is what I explained to my children without impugning the concept of Santa as best as I could.

  13. I took my young kids to campus to see Obama drive by, the time he spoke at Gregory. We found a spot standing on a curb on 21st street, across from the San Jacinto dorm. This policeman was forcing everyone to stand way back from the road. About 10 seconds before the motorcade came by, he looked at my kids and told them to come stand by the curb and told me I could stand behind them if I wanted to. Thanks to the cop, we had awesome views of the vehicles flying by and I had about the same view of Obama that that picture shows. Obama had a big briefing binder open and was obviously reading something. He went by and I thanked the cop for letting us get up front, and I thought, man the president just never gets a break. He's got to be on 24/7. And then we elected this guy...

  17. One of this site's great mysteries to me is how this LSU dipshit has some of the most rep of any poster. Every time I see him posting, it's useless, uninteresting, unfunny dipshittery. I can't for the life of me understand where he's putting something up in which people are then compelled to say "oh, yeah, that's good! upvote upvote upvote to you, good sir!" It's got to be a result of some bizarre circle jerking among bleeding hearts or diehard angry conservatives, whichever way he swings, in the Cloak Room or he's got a sock army. Or both. Clearly he has the time.

  18. Imagine being an LSU fan, your team just finished one of the greatest seasons in the sport's 150 year history -- and instead of actually celebrating, you're spending your night trolling on a Texas message board. Jesus.

  29. So I googled him. He played at BC, and then went to the NFL. I don't give a flying fuck about BC as they've been irrelevant since Flutie, and I don't give a fuck about the NFL. I'm not embarrassed at all.

  36. Well it's a well-known fact, sonny-jim, that there's a secret society of the 5 wealthiest people in the world, known as The Pentavirate, who run everything at Texas, including the newspapers, and meet tri-annually in a secret country mansion in Colorado known as The Meadows: The Queen, the Vatican, the Gettys, the Rothschilds...and Colonel Sanders before he went tits up! Ooh I hated the Colonel, with his wee beady eyes and that smug look on his face! Ohh you're gonna buy my chicken! Ooh!
