  2. Based on their history, we know a few things: Haynes King tried throw a punch but dislocated his shoulder and had to go to the medical tent before the ruckus got lit in the Station. Bryce Foster got a mental health note from his mommy and sat in the corner crying while she got thumbs up from all the posters at Texags Evan Stewart refused to throw a punch unless he got $250K guaranteed for the rest of the year Denver Harris threatened to β€œrun all you m’fers over” in the garage on a live IG stream Ainias Smith offered to drive everyone home as he has a strap for protection and some weed to chill everyone out Coach Craig promised more ballet jumping drills on Monday This season has been great for Aggie

  4. One of my best friends was a Phillies fan. I still remember how happy he was in 2008, and how envious I was. He died in 2011 at age 39 from glioblastoma (fuck cancer). His wife gave me one of his Phillies jerseys and this: It occupies prime real estate on one of the memorabilia display shelves in my office. We would have had a blast for the next couple of weeks shit-talking each other. So, I will say to this gathering of esteemed individuals that I hope the Phillies choke on a rancid cheesesteak. Vick would appreciate that.

  5. I've been looking for over 2 years for a Miami Blue 991.2 slick top with a 7MT and RAS, and finally found one. Carrera T with all the aforementioned options and 9k miles. Fucking love this thing.

  7. Took a moment this morning to be a little nostalgic. I was too young for 1980 but my first baseball memory is being heartbroken and, yes, crying in 1986 when I was 9 years old. My parents had taken me to a game that season where JosΓ© Cruz beat the Cardinals with a walkoff homer and I was instantly hooked. Baseball was my favorite sport starting with that moment, and the Astros were my first favorite team. Starting there and going through the '90s playoff failures, etc. These are the glory days, lady and gentlemen. Enjoy every minute of it.

  8. In about four years somebody will go to photograph some remote island in the Phillipines and a few of the kids will be wearing "Don't care, got Jimbo" T-shirts.

  9. There is serious discussion going on around playing the victim card and being shocked to discover that Jimbo was cheating the whole time. Apparently there are a few issues. 1) Smoking guns - Fisher isn't an idiot. There is a fear that Fisher would go tit for tat. 2) Roster impact - they'd likely need players and families to attest to the cheating, which would go over like a lead balloon. Dropping a cheating bombshell that then gets aired in public means players head for any safe harbor they can find. 3) Coaching future - they'd have to moneywhip the next guy in even bigger ways than the current situation, which is a market they helped set. If they don't do that, they'd have to take a chance on an up and comer and there isn't a ton of interest in that. No coach worth a shit is going to want to go to ATM if they find a way to fuck the current coach out of a fully guaranteed contract. They're either going to have to pay $15million/year to someone or grab a very young position coach or find a FCS guy with ambition. A guy like Traylor couldn't even be moneywhipped for that place given what things would look like if they really do try to weasel out of paying Fisher.

  10. Polls only opened a few hours ago, but I have been busy. Voted early under my deceased great-uncle's identity and got today's "I voted" sticker. Spent an hour on the south side of town harvesting ballots. Now I am off to contact my deep state operatives in Venezuela to activate the QR code vote-changing application on the Dominion voting machines in all of the Panhandle counties. Try and keep up Sheeple!

  16. Shamelessly stealing a post from Bull Sprig at Work on Orangebloods. You hate to see it but, then again, you love to see it. in his most recent Podcast, Looch says "not a pretty scene" in the locker room after the SC loss. "This is a fractured locker room. There is no leadership. It looks like a totally rudderless ship out there" in reference to the pressure, Jimbo is under: "He can't yell his way out of it" "Unbelievable to watch Conor Weigman out there for 4 or 5 plays and he's getting his ass chewed coming off the field after the first possession of his college career" "everything looks like a train wreck out there" "real fear with the way things are going, Jimbo is going to look up at end of the season and all the talented Freshmen are going to portal out" "It is like the Titanic and people looking for life rafts The program is to the point where it is every man for himself" on TexasAgs: lots of discussions about players being on double-secret suspension and not playing ( smoke that it was Denver Harris and a couple of others) up to 4 players were rumored to be out partying in Columbia Friday night - might be related to above word is getting around that numerous players are looking to possibly opt-out for 2022 and then portal out

  21. Pretty sure one of those "offsides" against Texas was when our defense was substituting in response to an offensive substitution, and the refs let OSU snap the ball before our guy was all the way off the field. You never see that penalty, because (by rule) the refs will stand over the ball and make the offense wait until the defensive subs are complete. And one of the offsetting penalties was when Alfred Collins was rushing up the middle and was tackled into the quarterback, and (I think) Collins' hand hit Sanders' helmet as the ball came out. The broadcast never replayed it, and it would be too painful to go back and confirm with a second look, but that contact (which was minor) doesn't happen if Collins doesn't get tackled. Just pointing a couple of these out for the guys who want to say, "When you break it down, it was actually very even." The calls weren't remotely even. There were multiple phantom PI on Texas extending OSU drives that resulted in points that 1) were definitely uncatchable balls and 2) weren't PI even if the ball had been catchable. Texas receivers got zero of those calls. Then, with the game on the line and only a couple minutes to play, Texas gets yet another phantom penalty - a "hold" on the back side of the play, moving us back about 60 yards - from first down deep inside OSU territory to 2nd- (?3rd-)-and-22 way back on our side of the field. Former OU player announcing the game, discussing 14-0 disparity in penalties: "That's just great coaching!" We can't get out of this conference fast enough.

  22. When you realize the HUGE overlaps of "being Russian" with "being aggy," it's....horrifying. -Massively overstate their power/ability, year after year. -Incompetent execution of even the most basic things. -Their politics and political rhetoric are terrifyingly similar. -militaristic society, love of authoritarian type rule. -A heavy percentage of unsophisticated (understatement) hillbilly types. -Actual sheep-shaggers. Jesus. I'd never really looked at it with that level of detail, and now that I have......I wanna puke.

  27. The goes way beyond Ewers. The refs were in on it too. And there's more. Personally I believe there's a secret group of Syrians living in an underground bunker. The civil war there provides cover for their operations. From their underground bunker they map out wins/losses for college football up to 2 years in advance. Their end goal is to create enough chaos in the college football world to enable double agent Mormons they've planted, who are really Scientologists, to take over ESPN. From what I've heard they've hacked Sark's Uverse and are brainwashing him with subliminal messaging whenever he watches TV. It's all pretty simple if you take a step back and take the blinders off.

  28. Lets talk about this for a second and β€˜The Astros Way’ …. Correa knew he was leaving and still took time to take JP3 under his wing. Mentored him, pushed him to play winter ball. Showed him how to prepare. Stromy mentored all the pitching coaches through out the org. He’d go scout prospects. Going that extra mile cudos to both those guys, great Astros
