  1. That was a great listen. It was pretty easy to figure out who he was talking about. For those that didn't listen, he basically said that Jordan Addison isn't getting what he was promised. That this stuff will come out in the open in the future. Also implied pretty confidently that there is a program recruiting much higher than their norm and that it's going to result with locker room problems and transfers over the next year to two years. Assuming he's talking about aggy which it's pretty clear he is, he stated that this particular program promised recruits a bunch of ridiculous money and in their contracts, there are a bunch of stipulations for these players to actually get the money which was never relayed to them. For example, they only start getting payments if they are starting, or if they meet certain qualifications. Now if the player and family feels pissed about about being lied to, they are stating "well you signed the contract". Mentioned that it may not affect players that live near home but recruits that moved from OOS that had no interest in the program and simply were there for transactional reasons, will likely transfer. Makes sense of the rumors of Walter Nolan wanting out. It also falls in line with seeing how they are struggling to recruit big time right now. They went from signing the best class ever in the history of recruiting coming off of a 8-4 season to struggling to get recruits on campus a few months later. Josh Pate mentioned these recruits will talk to current players and it makes a lot more sense now why more guys are not falling for their "commit now or the offer is gone" pitch. He also mentioned that there are schools that are doing it the right way. That their pitch to players is that we aren't guaranteeing you anything but that we have the structure and resources in place for you to actually monetize on your name and build a brand if you come in and do the right things. Sounds pretty much like what Texas is doing. In addition, we see to be making an effort to create a baseline for all players to be payed and then creating opportunities for the ones that are producing to get the bigger dollar offers through all the opportunities in Austin. In summary, he basically said that a ton of coaches, GAs, and recruiting department personnel have told him about the bullshit at USC and aggy and how it's going to get exposed for the next few years.

  3. That report makes me ragey. I’m just going to throw out the LEO bit because there’s too much. 1. Our laws worked exactly as designed when it comes to availability of weapons. Anyone who is 18 years old without certain crimes on his record should be able to go to a store and buy any long gun he wants. All the shit about his family is just a distraction. We are fucked if that’s what we are supposed to rely on— families making sure adults don’t do legal things. And what if they had reported him to the police? The police couldn’t have done shit. It is not illegal for angry young men to buy guns, in fact, Texas wants it to be very, very legal and encouraged. Were they supposed to have him committed? Do you think this state has enough beds to commit every angry young man who mentions guns at his fast food job? Fuck right off with all that. 2. We knew that eventually, teachers would get blamed. And there it is. They propped open doors in a 1950s era school house in the summer. They had a bunch of different keys and left doors unlocked for substitute teachers. The HORROR! They ran the school like a fucking school and not a prison camp. Fuck right off with all this security and active shooter protocol and how it wasn’t followed. I don’t fucking want schools to need active shooter protocols. Most schools in the world do not.

  5. Yeah I just can’t imagine living afraid of everything - real and imagined all the damn time. I’m a single middle aged woman who lives alone. Granted, I have a very large and protective dog with a VERY a threatening bark but I’m the only human in my home unless my daughter is home from college or my son is on leave. So - alone 95% of the time. I’m in good shape and not unattractive but I do have a fucked up back and zero upper body strength and have never been in a physical fight in my life so I could very easily be physically overpowered. I should be a prime example of someone who should have a gun for protection. But guess what? I don’t feel the need to have one because I know it’s very unlikely I’ll ever need one. And chances are, if I did have one it would probably be pretty easy for someone to physically overpower me and take it to use against me. I have an alarm system and cameras and that’s enough to deter most criminals or people with bad intent because those kinds of folks are mostly lazy and go for easy targets. If I catch the attention of a true evil psycho or Ted Bundy, there’s probably nothing I could do to protect myself if someone made it their mission to harm me. So why do so many men who already have a physical edge and aren’t statistically targets like women are feel so scared of everything and everyone? Why in the world do these men need guns in every room in their house and in their car and strapped to their bodies at all times? I truly do not understand it. And how miserable must their day to day life be to feel so scared and angry all the damn time?

  13. This is complete nonsense, just as your previous post in which you declared Joe Biden made extreme left campaign promises such as eliminating student loan debt and "killing fossil fuels" when, in fact, he never made such promises and you are reinventing the past to fit a flawed argument. Biden's main campaign promise had everything to do with getting covid under control through vaccinations and mask policies while getting the economy back on track through the coronavirus relief package. He never promised to "kill the fossil fuel industry" unless you think that is synonymous with rejoining the Paris Accord, and he absolutely never made any promises to get rid of student debt. In fact, his stance on loan forgiveness of up to a max of 10K per person was a response to the actual meat that Bernie and Warren put on the table. His response was extremely moderate to their policy proposal wrt student loan forgiveness (they were saying cancel 95-100%), and you're arguing that to get to a leadership position in the party, you can't be moderate???? Joe Biden was the ultimate CENTRIST candidate put forth by Dem primary voters for the explicit purpose of defeating Donald Trump. His ultra-moderate positions and perceived electability was what propelled him to defeat Bernie and Warren, two partisan progressives who are clearly to his left. His moderate milquetoast belief that everything will be okay if we just strive for bipartisan agreement and believe really hard in the awesomeness of the D.C institutions is exactly why he is unpopular with Democratic voters.

  17. Is there a way we could somehow harness Republican racism / stupidity to power our homes and cities? We can just go the Matrix route and hook them all up to a computer simulation of a 1950's era that never actually existed while using them as batteries.
