The truth is already out.  If anyone doesn't know what's up after Trump told Lester Holt he fired Comey over the Russia investigation and then betrayed the U.S. this week on international television with Putin three feet away, then they're dumber than even Trump is.

I wonder how many government officials she's fucked.

For example, on at least one occasion, Butina offered an individual other than U.S. Person 1 sex in exchange for a position within a special interest organization." (p.8)

Undefeated.

It's brought down countless empires.  Might as well add the GOP's reign to the list.

bill clinton used to like to compare himself to honest abe.  hoo nose whether ol' abe had trouble keeping his pants on, but if he had been as foolish and as weak as ol' bill, think how that might have changed history.

Loose lips get me a job within a special interest organization.

Phillip Crowther, White House correspondent with France24, discusses his lunch with Mariia Butina.

Quote

I was never going to turn down lunch with Maria Butina. As sources go, she was among the most promising – a young pro-gun, pro-Trump Russian based in Washington, with high-level contacts in the NRA, the United States’ powerful gun lobby. We met on October 27, 2016, exactly two weeks before the election of Donald Trump. I was particularly interested in Republicans’ newfound admiration for Russia’s strongman leader Vladimir Putin. Maybe Maria Butina could explain.

Butina is now under arrest, charged with being a spy for the Russian government.

On the day we met she seemed awfully confident that Trump would win the presidency, against all odds. Her message to me after our lunch, on October 28, was this: “Some people say that Russians have this sixth sense and sometimes can predict great things ahead – this is what I feel after our meeting. I feel that we will be having some interesting and important deals together.”

I’m curious if the Russian mob stuff ties into this, or at least comes into play.  Stuff like this:

I think the noose tightening has definitely been progressing behind closed doors, and ultimately Putin and his mafia state will face the brunt of a decisive multinational non-military offensive.

Also, this traditional self-described republican individual on twitter - countercheckist - appears to have a bird's eye view into law enforcement activities.  He/she announces legal activities mainly in terms of indictments/warrants with "Feathers" tweets.  He sent one out a few days ago immediately preceding Butina's arrest.

Two more went out today.

Kind of a confusing table to summarize it, but you get the picture.  Looks like multiple significant sealed indictments have been out there a good while:

Spoiler

I think it was reasonable to include the disdain for "cohabitating" Erickson in the indictment/motion to help establish that she was an agent, but it's not also a bad way to induce him to flip.  "Come on man.  She was telling everyone back in Moscow that you have a tiny dick.  She never gave a fuck about you."

In case anyone was wondering why the Ginger isn’t part of the Mueller investigation, it’s because the FBI/DOJ was on to her years before Mueller.

When Mueller took over he got wind of any investigations tangentially related and received updates but didn’t take the investigation away from those already working on it.

This information is brought to you by Matt Apuzzo of the NYT

She's really all over the map when it comes to how good she looks.  I could get behind this, so to speak, she looks like a younger ginger Connie Britton:

Going through her photo album it appears she changed her eye and hair color periodically.

It’s almost like she was your prototypical Hollywood Russian spy.

She could fly a plane and maybe drive a tank based on some of the photos.

She worked out a lot and probably a weapons expert judging from the photos.

It appears she also did a lot of work in media on radio and television.

Aside: I found that interesting so I went and looked at his Twitter to see what you were talking about. He hasn’t tweeted in forever but his top tweet is an article from WaPo about the [opinion redacted] judge in the whole fucking country, our very own Lynn Hughes.
