This happened in February and they're investigating it now because the video gained steam.

SPOIlER: The people who are investigating themselves well find that they acted accordingly to procedure based on the situation that was presented. Will they reflect on whether it's necessary to escalate a motorist's minor moving violation of not having lights on during the day into property destruction and physical violence? No. No they will not.

I know its becomming absolutely cliche, but how in the fuck can a supposed supervisor review the body cameras of that stop and not think... maybe that was a tad excessive?  like not even put a fucking warning letter in the jacket of any of those assholes?

I mean fuck... even if the driver was actively mouthing off (which he clearly wasnt) and telling you to go fuck yourself, once hes told you the window is broken you dont just get to punch it out and then give the driver a few closed fist chin pops.

5 fucking months that police department has had the other side of that incident on camera, and they didnt fucking review it at all????

“you hurt my feelings and now you will pay the price.” to use the modern parlance, “it’s giving psychopathic incel”. words  cannot describe how big of a piece of shit this guy is. and this guy exists in every department in america. infuriating.

Follow up on Jax Cop. No criminal charges. Shocker.

As if anyone needed another reason to stay the fuck out of Florida.  Fuck the police, and fuck Florida police in particular.

BTW - just listen to this asshole try to explain that the victim was just trying to "enflame the public" because he posted the video to social media.  No motherfucker - he posted to social media because he knew you would just bury it completely if there wasn't an uproar. The more I see, the more I think it may really be time to trash the system and try to start over.

I know Phoenix is consistently listed in the top 5 of most corrupt, most insane, most fuck up police departments in the fucking country.....

but holy shit this story is so beyond the pale of human decency that I am mentally struggling how fucking depraved you have to be as a group of cops who live in PHOENIX... claiming that they were never trained on how dangerous it could be to lay someone with shorts and a tank top onto black asphalt in the phoenix heat when it was 114°  outside

and the fact that the cops literally had the wrong guy makes it worse.... yes the kid had an active warrant out for his arrest (claimed he didnt know), but the cops didnt know that at the time, and they werent arresting him for that.

They were arresting him because they thought he was a different suspect.  so 5 of these fucks help stand on his back searing his skin against the fucking asphalt for 4+ mins... which gives him 3rd degree burns on his chest, back, arms, thighs, knees.  It took over a fucking month in the burn unit to recover and hes permanently disfigured as a direct result of these fucking morons.

throughout the report when they show a 3rd party camera of the arrest, you can hear him screaming and the cops, who I guess are just used to that... ignore him...

kid suing for 15M.... which I would vote for if on the jury... but highly unlikely he gets more than $5M.

Well, because no federal court of appeals or SCOTUS has conclusively ruled that roasting a suspect on hot asphalt is unconstitutional, qualified immunity will get them off.
