Chargers just had their TE motion Under center to take a direct snap for the first.  Maybe try that?

Or how about lining up a RB, WR, or backup QB to run single wing in the red zone?

Or fuck, I don’t know, a PA Rollout with a TE sneaking into the EZ?

Simpler than that…
still run the sneak, but not the sprint to the LOS, quick snap, predetermined run “gap” that we try to get cute with. Line up, survey the D and then make an actual choice based on D alignment.

Would it be the idea strategy? No. Is it simple and light years better than how we ran it? Obv.

Fumble prone

just run shotgun zig/cross/fade or duo up the gut from single back

Seems to me that the worst thing you can do is squeeze your blockers all together. If you spread them out, and if you have two RBs, and the D tries to stack the middle, the D is looking at a numbers problem off tackle and beyond. The QB of course must be able to look at the matchups and audible, but if you get good at it, making a couple of yards should be a gimme.

What did the Aikman cowboys do against the best teams in football? Bet they had a kickass fullback in there. Fake step to one side, hand off to the other. Or have the FB as lead blocker.

Maybe Sark isn't putting in the hours necessary to do the job at the levels needed? Maybe they could give him an extra fifty/sixty hours per week with a good hire at OC.
