Nope.

Can't blame a QB if his coach never coached him.

Arch spit the bit on that one. Took Arch about 4 weeks to get going. I think there is a clear difference between OSU and Florida games.

Did you know that the highest single ranking of any offensive stat found on CFBStats.com for Texas is Arch Manning's #40 ranking in individual National All Games Passing?

That is all team offensive stats for Texas.

Disagree about the expecations being absurd. Too high, maybe. But not absurd. We have one of the most expensive rosters in the sport. It's year five. Sark and the staff got an extra year of runway to plan for the Arch transition and his 2-year window.  They botched the portal, botched staff hirings, and egregiously mismanaged the roster. We have millions in NIL underachieving or not playing at all.

And I'm sure internal expectations were about the same. Sark and co were not telling the Mannings that Arch's third year in the program was gonna be a rebuilding year. They did not plan to have one of the worst lines in the country and both the worst and most expensive RB room in the SEC.

I know money, time, etc. but "egregiously" mismanaged? He graduated his OL last year.

I'm not going to bother with this. Anyone who argues with this is immediately labeled an apologist as though contesting inflated language makes one a homer.

Nobody is saying it's a great season. Nobody is giving full absolution to Sark. Learn to embrace a little subtlety in your lives. It's not all a nuked wasteland. Give your neck veins a break.

Wut? You practice with your usual front line to be prepared for a surprise onside kick. They placed it right in the gap between Jonah and Roberson. Jonah was right there to make the play but was surprised and late because our special teams coach doesn’t practice this stuff with any type of urgency. Teams that are disciplined and prepare accordingly don’t need a hands team to stop a surprise onside kick against Georgias normal kick off unit.

Exactly. You have a hands team that’s there when you know it will be an onside kick, and you have a regular return team that should never be surprised for the onside kick.

You’re coached to never turn your back to the football until it’s past you. Doesn’t mean players don’t get complacent, but that was not a team that had any expectation of the possibility of an onside kick.

Yeah but Sark has so much load on his plate with cutting players lose early and trips to San Marcos for "transfer scouting" that he obviously delegates those responsibilities to our special teams coach. Im told the monkey ran the fake kick off drills as much as possible. That shit is on the players.

There’s plenty of blame for the season that goes on Sark, oline, RB, WR rosters and play calling.  But we’re also Arch not playing like complete ass vs Ohio State and a lot of Florida, along with other players mistakes on a couple plays vs Florida from having one loss and being ranked in the top 5.  So I wouldn’t say the sky is falling for him just yet.

Texas is also a couple of plays away from losing to MSU, Vandy, and Kentucky.

The only thing I don’t like as someone beyond frustrated with sark when I argue with people I mostly respect here even if we disagree on sark and our root problems on the team this year—that’s fine.

but there is this serious need to tell us to calm the fuck down all the time? Like I am calmer than you are dudes, lol. Seriously though I see that a lot in the political debates. Calm down…you are irrational man. I don’t see that many irrational people on either side of the Sark argument so it’s weird to me. I don’t see people going that turbo on either side, that is one thing that is kinda lame, hey pearl clutches!!! lol,

I don’t see a lot of middle finger emojis either. We seem to be calm. It’s all good, damn. It’s just a pet peeve and if it’s been used on any of you in another debate over a different topic you know it sucks when you are being fairly rational to have someone immediately discredit you as being unhinged as a means of a debate, 😂

bama is going to roll with DeBoer (pun intended) and they don't have half the resources we do. it's fucking mindblowing we hire these mid coaches and when the sure bets are available we are happy with our perpetual 5 year rebuild. give the guy a chance.

our whole program is a drunk.

DeBoer is gone if they slip against Auburn (by his own means). He’s the top guy for Penn State and it’s a hell of a time following Saban with the most spoiled fan base in CFP.

Regardless of how you feel about Sark, this year is not the year to join the carousel and rebuild. We can destroy in the portal this off season and come away a lot better and build much needed depth.

This is when we double down.

It’s always a bad time to fire a coach. We said the same thing when we fired Herman and strong.

And losing a bunch of NIL support this portal and off season plus a much harder schedule next year actually creates a rebuilding process because we're gonna have jack shit in the hopper by 2027.

So I had exactly 68 DMs with requests for information. 62 of you also privately shared your own “gossip” and that won’t be shared with anyone.

I give you my word. That’s the best an unhinged lunatic like me can do.

Of those 62…over half the stories I had heard before and some gave some good corroborating info and the other half gave me gossip I had not heard.

Almost all the gossip seems to be centered around last year starting in August up through now.

I post this because shit ain’t getting made up about him because it’s not been a good football year and people are just throwing bullshit around. To be spiteful. Believe or don’t but the bulk of the off the field shit has been going on since last year and most of the posters knew stuff and never posted nor said a word publicly about it. and still won’t. Thanks

Thanks for sharing your shit! Especially those who had some good proof to back it up.

it was enough to blow my ears back.

I will never be the same again,

So this thread is moving at the speed of light and despite my best efforts to get the gist of the situation, I’m unclear on whether anyone has confirmed off the field issues that put Sark at risk of parting ways with Texas. It is known that nfl jobs are a possibility, but what about personal issues?

Absolute shit ton of smoke and the time of the various smoke signals coincide extremely well with bad "choices" or bad loses extremely well.

No confirmation from any reputable source of anything certain on personal issues. However on page 229 of this thread I took the time to breakdown the time line of bad coaching choices, smoke signals and performance issues.

Yeah your cryptic teenage girl posting is wayyyy better. It adds so much value, like posting the same picture two or three times in a row. You’re a legend.
