We should all find someone that loves us as much as Sark loves taking 2 RBs per recruiting class.

This recruitment could be fascinating. Both schools passed on approaching ATM’s offer. He’s not supposed to be even talking to other schools as part of how they allegedly structure those moneywhip deals.

If I were betting on outcomes here, my money would be on ATM going bonkers on him right now and him coming out with a “shutting it down” tweet within the next 48 hours.  If not, awesome.

After Texas flips Henderson, LSU can always go nuts with a counter offer to Edwards as well.

Do you think Texas can/will sweeten the pot for Edwards?

Is it true that Derrek Cooper is still entertaining options?

He's a 4/5-star from out of state with a hefty NIL deal. A guy like that is going to entertain options up until the ink is dry. As he should. That's just the way it is.

Also, I was listening to an On3 podcast, hosted by Andy & Ari.  They mentioned Dia Bell decommit rumors.  Has anyone heard about those and did they just come out after Arch's grandfather made the comment about returning next year?

Sark and our $9.95ers have been talking up Lacey a bunch. To me this sounds like rivals trying to stir up shit in Bell's camp based on that.

Scenario B (Arch leaves in 2027): Sit behind Arch and learn Sark's system in 2026, and then as a 2nd year guy, win an open competition vs 4th/3rd year Trey/Lacey (and one of them may have left by then)

Agree that Arch staying is the better situation for Bell. 99% chance that the loser of the Owens/Lacey backup job competition moves on in that scenario.

I’m definitely not an Aggie or a troll. I don’t have any subscriptions to the recruiting websites and I check twitter about once a month, so I would have no methods of verifying info. Just passing along something I heard.

Who the hell wants to spend time in BCS for 3-4 years when the alternative is Austin.  Can't speak to BR, but I imagine it sucks asshole with weather comparable to Houston.

Kids love Austin.  Kids also love Baton Rouge.  I know this can be hard to fathom if you've ever spent any amount of time in BR or Tallahassee, but Black kids age 18-23 fall in love with both fairly quickly.  They get most/all of the benefits of playing big time football, and they do it in close proximity to Southern and FAMU, respectively.  Kids choosing aggy, I find harder to explain away - the NIL and gold Trans Ams probably move the needle a bit.

Have you been to BR? Campus features Tiger Stadium, the original Raising Cane’s, a tower slightly taller than aggy’s, a pond that’s about 4 feet deep, and Tigerland. That’s it. And that’s the good part of town.

Football players aren't looking for a good place to raise their kids. They will live in a fabulous bubble wherever they go. Other aspects of location etc. may play a part but not a large one IMHO.

Has it ever been established if the cheerleader is actually trans, or just really unfortunate looking?

Newsflash but 30k+ 20 year olds are going to have fun even if you put them in a shitty town

For sure. If LSU’s pitch is Tiger Stadium  + drunk co-eds with minor drug problems and daddy issues they’re going to sell a lot of recruits.

It's not just this for LSU and FSU

It’s pretty obvious who’s never been on recruiting visits. College towns/campuses are pretty damn amazing. As an adult, earning a living, you obviously split. Bonding with future teammates on trips is huge for kids that have never left home.

But yes, college station makes zero sense. At any level.

There are some very good looking women who go to a&m. I didn't go because of all the cult shit, but I swear the female guides were throwing themselves at me when I was touring.

A few of the other potential students were very attractive too.

I can see the charm of a&m, but once you see the cult for what it is, you can't unsee it.

I am thankful for the choice I made back then every day.

duh

southern is 10 miles north of lsu

famu and fsu are less than a mile apart

one would think we would have added a similar weapon to our arsenal

we need to budget nil for pom and recruit the hottest african-american girls in the state (that can do the pom thing, of course)

What is a Helaman Casuga?

I think it’s a shot comprised of mayo and tequila maybe? And true story, The Brown Jug in Ann Arbor has a shot called the Smoker’s Cough that is mayo and Jager. Fucking Midwesterners will put mayo into anything.
