Both schools passed on approaching ATM’s offer. He’s not supposed to be even talking to other schools as part of how they allegedly structure those moneywhip deals. If I were betting on outcomes here, my money would be on ATM going bonkers on him right now and him coming out with a “shutting it down” tweet within the next 48 hours. If not, awesome. After Texas flips Henderson, LSU can always go nuts with a counter offer to Edwards as well. Do you think Texas can/will sweeten the pot for Edwards? 50 minutes ago, chiu1040 said: Is it true that Derrek Cooper is still entertaining options? He's a 4/5-star from out of state with a hefty NIL deal. A guy like that is going to entertain options up until the ink is dry. As he should. That's just the way it is. 47 minutes ago, chiu1040 said: Also, I was listening to an On3 podcast, hosted by Andy & Ari. They mentioned Dia Bell decommit rumors. Has anyone heard about those and did they just come out after Arch's grandfather made the comment about returning next year? Sark and our $9.95ers have been talking up Lacey a bunch. To me this sounds like rivals trying to stir up shit in Bell's camp based on that. 9 minutes ago, Getafix said: Scenario B (Arch leaves in 2027): Sit behind Arch and learn Sark's system in 2026, and then as a 2nd year guy, win an open competition vs 4th/3rd year Trey/Lacey (and one of them may have left by then) Agree that Arch staying is the better situation for Bell. 99% chance that the loser of the Owens/Lacey backup job competition moves on in that scenario.

August 14, 2025Aug 14 Pretty interesting note from Bobby on Cooper/Edwards (via @MuellerHorn in the fall camp thread) Quote With the football season about to start, that means it’s nearing unofficial visit time in the recruiting world. Yesterday alone, there were comments about Texas commitment Derrek Cooper potentially visiting Miami and the Hurricanes not giving up, and another regarding A&M commitment KJ Edwards and his interest in attending a LSU and Texas game. Here’s what I can tell you: When it comes to the running back position, the Longhorns’ pursuit of Cooper is singular. Texas is all in on Cooper. Texas feels good about its position with Cooper, too. He will visit this fall for at least one game. And remember, he has an official visit to Texas still available. As for Edwards, him wanting to visit Texas is one thing. Texas pursuing him is another. As I said, Texas running back recruiting is currently a singular pursuit of Cooper. And the Horns will take only one. More than anything, Texas is focused on not taking its proverbial eye off the ball with Cooper.

It's very visual. It doesn't seem to be politically slanted. If there were a large gathering of Black people whose vehicles flew BLM banners, it's just an observation to say you saw them. FTR: I agree strongly with keeping the different board category content contained. “If what he says is true, I assume it has some basis in reality” Aside from that, the dude hauls “ULTRA MAGA” into his idiotic oral discharge… clearly it was CR BULLSHIT. keep CR IN CR. If I want to read political jibberjabber I’d go to CR. Not the god damned recruiting board. /rant
