Maybe this fall you might consider researching each candidate on his or her merits rather than pulling a straight party line.  You know, pick the best candidate for the position rather than blindly vote by party.

Maybe that should be a new thread since I suspect I am not the only one that votes straight ticket.

No, fucking an underaged boy is worse than a pedophile.

Legally not underage. Fully consensual. Definitely inappropriate as he was a subordinate. Definitely a little creepy. He was censured for his actions, I'm not sure what else you wanted to happen to him. Perhaps a public lynching?

It's interesting you seem to have absolutely nothing to say about the convicted pedophile that was the Republican Speaker of the House for 8 years until 2007.

I'm not sure how far the early 80s sex scandal rabbit hole we want to go, but he should've resigned rather than continuing to serve for another 10-15 years.

his continued reelection isn't something to be proud of, just like Roy Moore nearly getting elected.

I have stated numerous times on this thread that if an R does something inappropriate or against the law, they should receive appropriate justice for what they did. Too bad that piece of crap Teddy didn't but he is residing in hell so thats something.

No, he isn't. He's just dead.

Does this standard also apply to your president and his bragging about sexually assaulting women and the multiple allegations of other inappropriate behaviors?

We feel the same way about liberals. I mean, look at who you support.
It cuts both ways. One day you will understand that. Both sides are cesspools.
Imagine never voting for anyone like that.

Wait, don't do that. You'll have a stroke when you try to figure out how not to vote for your team.

I am of the opinion that your side is much more of a cesspool. Moreover, your beliefs are odious.

"I know you are but what am I" is the dead serious, go-to rationale in the Republican playbook. It's the only argument to deflect from the endless fucksalad created by the GOP and Trump administration.

You must have had one hell of an 8 year nap.

I won't have a stroke as long as your side continues to support your idiot candidates. Hillary made voting easy.

I know. Luckily for progressives, conservatism always loses in the long run.

You mean like the last 8 or so years. You lost the WH, SC, Congress and somewhere in the neighborhood of 1000 local elections. Keep moving towards socialism and see what happens.

I'm talking about society as a whole. Conservatism always loses in the end.

What is your party moving towards?  A party for whites only who support racists and segregationists. See what happens in November.

I don’t see how a coach can say that locker room talk of a doctor molesting wrestlers is talk and not a serious allegation of abuse.   Maybe he didn’t want to rock the boat when he was a 24yr old asst coach, but that isn’t a valid excuse now.

Not to mention that it’s a fairly big change from what he’s previously said.

It'd have been a shame if Brett Lego Hair pulled a muscle and isolated that comment by asking "wait, you'd dismiss allegations of molestation and assault as just locker room talk?  As a coach?"

Be careful what you wish for.

Yet again you prove your idiocy by assuming that anyone who recognizes the completely pathetic nature of the GOP must vote for Democrats.

You are so blinded by your belief that team is all that matters when it comes to politics and elections that you can't help but try to put people in one of two buckets. You are a fool.
