I'll never understand why the NBA makes draft day trades that include picks so confusing. Silver just announced a trade that was public information when the portland pick was made.

Their front office is from the Presti tree as well.  I think being out the lime light may be good and Washington is going to be bad so he'll get minutes and time to develop.....

You're more optimistic than I.  The Wizards seems like a place where scorers go to languish on last place teams, accumulate points and not much else.  It's like tv actors trying to break into motion pictures.  You get labeled and typecast.  See John Wall and Gilbert Arenas.  Hope like hell I'm way off base.

It's way early but so far Atlanta is in the running for best offseason so far.  Anybody who gives ATL less than an A for tonight has room temp IQ.

Still in awe that NOLA traded an extremely likely 2026 lotto pick & #23 for the #13 overall pick.  It's even more hilarious when one considers that they guy they picked at 23 is better than the guy NOLA picked at 13.

I think that's a fair assessment historically of the Washington franchise after the 70's.  I get it, all I was saying its that historically shitty diner who's under new management and when you find out it new management is the new sous chef of the most popular diner in town, you have to hope things get better.  Frankly, Tre has a lot of weakness in his game so wherever he can develop the most will be the best place for him and new management is from a place which traditionally drafted well and developed well, that's all.
