Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated Russian women for everything they do in life, like taking care of the home and staying beautiful. He made the remarks to a group of Russian female policewomen on International Women’s Day, which was celebrated throughout the Soviet Union.

“You manage everything at work and at home, whilst staying beautiful, bright, and charming,” Putin said, adding that “It is hard to imagine the history and development of our country without the contribution of the great Russian women.”

“What does a young woman need to maintain her figure? Three things: a workout machine, a masseuse and a suitor,” Putin told the police officers.

Putin also told the female police staff that when they patrol the city woodland parks, the number of accidents drops “because those who wish to commit suicide look at you and want to live again,” reported The Moscow Times.

All I ask from my villains is that they be awesome.  And Putin delivers.

Now I guess it is ok for foreign intervention in our elections.

From the article:

The measure would have had no practical effect even if it had passed. Illegal immigrants — and indeed noncitizens as a whole — are not legally able to participate in federal elections.

That doesn't seem fair.

About 15,300 people demonstrated for Internet freedom on Sunday in Moscow, according to White Counter, a group that monitors the number of attendees at rallies.

At least 28 people were detained in relation to the event organized by Russia’s Libertarian Party, according to OVD-Info, a web portal that tracks political repression in the country.

Russian lawmakers last month passed a draft law to create a “sovereign Internet” that would continue to function if the country is cut off from foreign servers. Critics said the bill risked handing the government extensive powers to censor online content.

Russia’s domestic Internet was largely unregulatedin the early years of President Vladimir Putin’s government, as the Kremlin focused on gaining control over the most influential media outlets, then in broadcasting and print. However, the government has gradually tightened control in recent years, citing the need to fight terrorism and cyber threats.

All those two have done is push baseless conspiracy theories to protect the president.

Im sure the DOJ will be professionals and do their duty but it doesn’t mean the rest of us have to.

Kind of like Zavala does, but Meadows and Jordan somehow have power.

Russia's effort to convince supporters of Sen. Bernie Sanders to vote for President Donald Trump over former Secretary Hillary Clinton was more expansive than previously known, according to a new study.

Researchers at Clemson University, at the request of The Washington Post, examined English-language tweets that came from Russia and found thousands that were designed to urge Sanders supporters to back Trump.

Of the Russian tweets the researchers analyzed, roughly 9,000 used the word "Bernie," which were "liked" 59,281 times and retweeted 61,804 times.

The tweets came from accounts masquerading as conservative Americans, with profiles that said things like, "Southern. Conservative Pro God. Anti Racism" and tweeted things like, "#BlackMenForBernie Leader Switches to Trump! I will Never Vote for Hillary, Welcome aboard the Trump Train."

Oleg Deripaska has a tell. Watching an interview on PBS News Hour and he was asked how often he talks to Russian intelligence. He laughed way too hard and immediately raised his hand up to to cover his mouth then talked through his hand as he dismissed the notion as preposterous. Translation: all the time.

Oleg Deripaska IS Russian Intelligence.

Everyone that has a direct line to Putin is Russian Intelligence, especially the oligarchs and Russian bank executives... Deripaska is approximately Putin’s #3 guy.

The Russian government is an international crime syndicate/intelligence service that also happens to have a country and a military.

This is actually true. An FBI agent said basically the same thing in a 60 Minutes segment on criminal Russian hackers and how Russian intelligence uses them. Hard to tell between the Russian criminals and operatives these days as they are often one in the same.

Who are Kentucky’s senators?  Oh yeah, Mitch McConnell and Rand Paul.  It’s starting to make sense.

So are you saying this is some sort of conspiracy then? Could you explain?

Kentucky has something like 200 aluminum manufacturers in the state and it makes up $2B of their GDP and utilizes 20k full time employees. “According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the state has the greatest capacity to produce aluminum in the nation.”

Got it. I don’t see the big deal, he’s met the terms of his deal to transfer majority ownership of his company, and agreed to have split board membership including American and British members.

As a bonus we get a $200M investment in small town America. Seems like the sanctions got their intended effect. Holding on to those sanctions could harm international aluminum market via increases prices in other poorer countries.

No, you've complicated a really simple narrative.  American legislators are getting paid for legislative policies that benefit a murderous thug who was once the head of the KGB whose single goal is to infiltrate, divide and destroy democracy across the world.  Russia is fine.  Most Russians are fine.  It's the psychopathic Soviet patriot who is bad, mmmkay.
