Backtracking on a feature story within hours is a great look, Stew.

And Livingstone has certainly completed his heel turn by giving that clown an interview to run that story.

We have the guy who has shown he doesn’t know how to recruit OL that fit the offense we want to run picking the OL to go after in the portal for our NC run what could go wrong.

"Out of his control" OU made an offer Texas wouldnt match so my Dad made me take it

Sour grapes. And I guess I get it. There was a point in the season when he was the only reliable WR on the roster. Of course there were points, like Tuesday afternoon, when he wasn’t.

He had a choice and he made it. No apologies.

Why aren’t you monitoring your team’s portal moves?

Just guessing, but the "out of his control" part was probably his playing time next year.

Well that would be firmly in his control. Outplay the other guys.

The way I interpreted it was that he is completely misusing the phrase. In other words, Texas's offer wasn't what his agent wanted, so it's 'out of his control'.

Which obviously it's not. These young guys, imo, are forgetting who should be working for whom.

Two years ago I would have said "I don't get it, but I think Kyle Flood knows a bit more than I do so I'll trust his judgement". Now I'll just say I don't get it. Don't try to fix things that aren't broken.

Also, tackles are harder to come by in the portal than guards.

They don’t want Baker to leave, but they need to have one more guy that can play tackle. I think they are promising Baker that he’ll be in their top 5 OL next year, but they can’t promise him that he’ll be a top 2 tackle.

In the scenario that Baker is at G next year, Goosby is still the LT. I bet they are talking to him about versatility - put some guard on tape for the NFL then we’ll swing you out to LT for your contract year in 2027.

When his portal was reported in Instagram, there were a few comments saying it was his Mom who asked for $750-800k.

Maybe the "out of my control" was his Mom.

So all these OL in the portal were missed evals like ours. Bunch of shit ol coaches out there I guess.

You think he'll be at LG next season considering the two Michigan transfers can seamlessly integrate into the right side of the line?

The first group of guys are still on their visits.

The Michigan guard is more naturally a center. He was playing guard out of need due to injury but was recruited by Michigan to play center. I believe that is also his preferred position. My strong hope is that he will replace Robertson and we are still in the market for a third OL take for the other guard spot.

To me it's just another data point of Flood missing more evaluations

He saw Stroh play. Then he saw a true freshmen moved in front of him to play. I don’t like this one, but I get why he would transfer

Country music legends aren't necessarily the best educated bunch.

Then where does this guy end up? https://gowyo.com/sports/football/roster/luke--sandy/11432

He's reportedly on campus taking a visit. Maybe a cheaper backup center? Kick Robertson out to one of the guard spots?

I wouldn’t hate it. I’m assuming he’d come at a savings too compared to what Moore was asking for.

I heard someone describe him as Robertson insurance. Can't remember who it was. Basically a guy they like as a backup incase Robertson decides to portal if/when we upgrade at center. I'm sure he would be a take even if Robertson stays assuming he is willing to come here as potentially third string.

The amount of standard business negotiating...

"I think I'm worth X"

"We think you're worth Y"

"Well another school is offering me X so I'm leaving"

...that's going to be spun as these emotional dramas, especially with any decent agent working the media, is going to be really annoying.

No. It's a reference to his parents' company.

This isn't a game thread.

Dial the bit back a little.

It'll be Sark's downfall for being too loyal to Flood, I fear.

It’s actually crazy the only offensive turnover has been at receiver position

Yeah, he is trying to make the fans sympathetic to a guy leaving. Let's just say they couldnt come to terms and they are transferring.

Which arguably is within every player's control. Catch the ball and get more snaps.

He did the same shit with Wisner and posted a whole article strictly from Tre’s side with no comments from UT side.

Kyle Parker was at Lovejoy with Parker Livingstone. I'd rather have the latter, though, given equal money.

Is Robertson coming back? He walked on senior night and I believe OTF said he wants to move on, but it could just be $9.95 bs
