Can we steal Bob Bostad though?

Oregon’s 78% 4 and 5 star roster is getting whipped by Indiana’s 8% roster. One can only conclude that we need to force all 4 and 5 star players to portal and replace them with 2 star players who are 30 with a wife, mortgage and two kids.

The college football model is changing right in front of our eyes. Indiana is showing us that high school recruiting is a relic of the past. Grown men from the portal are whipping five star 19 year olds.

Does yelling “Pull your head out of your ass and put in someone that knows how a snap count works!” from about 80 rows deep count? If so, then yes…and Demeco when the Texans still had Tunsil.

Yes because we’ve done such a tremendous job on our targets to this point.

Just assume we're going 1-11 next year. That way you'll be pleasantly surprised when we don't.

Was coming to say this

Which staff reshuffle was it that we thought we were going to hire him?

So many of Indiana's best players are James Madison transfers, its really remarkable.

the average age of indiana is 23 years old

Easier to coach up mature, less heralded players than less experienced, highly rated players.

Lower ceiling as a team, but many of the highly ranked, high potential guys won't reach their ceiling in college.

You should force your wife into the portal.

The logical move now would be to hire as many Indiana analysts and front office people as possible

I hope this isn’t the NowThis! division…NTTAWWT.

*Well coached grown men. That part is harder to come by.

When we thought Mack was going to hire Chryst and would bring Bob with him ??

To me, it feels similar to when “one and done” was brought into NCAA basketball. Shortly thereafter, you started seeing less hearalded schools with older players (that had played 3 or 4 years of college ball) start to make runs at the final four.

that had more to do with the decline in the development of american basketball prospects than anything else

Feels to me like Mark Cuban is getting good return on his significant investment

It really is a shame we can't get Michael Dell interested in Texas football.

Outside of Mendoza, they don't have many transfers that you'd have to break the bank for.

Roster retention is going to get a lot more expensive.

Explains some of it. Players improve a lot more YOY than the generic fan thinks.

Ehhhh...there is just an athletic cap for a lot of low rated players. Indiana has good athletes.

Oh for sure, going forward. Mark Cuban implied he's going to give way more this year than last, and I'd assume retention is why.

Oh he most definitely will especially after the Hoosiers buttfuck Miami in the championship game.

Ziyare Addison and some other highly ranked young players should definitely be considered.

Fishing at Pedernales Falls with my roommates. The assault was brutal, but I don’t remember Nolan Ryan being in the vicinity.

… a pretty blonde coed at Pedernales Falls on a seds and strat field trip. Her last name was his first, so this hits pretty close to home

Or was it Lost Maples?

Pat Coogan would have been nice to go after last year in the portal.

That would require listening skills and a willingness to adapt. Again, not core strengths of his.

I'd upvote this more than once if I could

It is, and not very replicable for 99% of coaches so people need to cool their jets. There’s a reason this shit is so special.

Very uneducated assumption - Sark doesn't care if he gets Cam or not, because he knows he'll finally get Dakorien Moore, whom he's wanted to be a Longhorn WR for a long time now.

We don’t even know if it’s replicable for Cignetti yet - I mean he’ll obviously have a good team next year . Will it be great?

I certainly don’t think the TCU QB is a Mendoza
