This is for all of y’all minimizing Parsons impact on the Cowboys.

Yeah but he didn't step in the playoffs...like every other player in this shitfest of a franchise.

Well you won’t have to worry about the playoffs now.

Clear admission of a "soft" rebuild.
Always had questions about Parsons.  He's exceptional at what he does, BUT paying a tweener LB $47M per year who is often battling injuries, disappears late in the season, and has cited as locker room issues and cant' stay off social media rants.
Yet they paid for Dak and Lamb. They should have done that Houston did. Get rid of it all and start over. They are going nowhere with this core.

Don't sleep on Kenny Clark.  Just sayin'

I feel sorry for him, having to come this shitfest where he's got zero shot of the post season.

Comparing Luka and Parsons is ridiculous. Luka actually had a real impact, which was the #1 reason for the Mavs success. Parsons is a cornball who made absolutely zero impact when it mattered.

Unrelated, but it reminded me of a joke I liked. It came from a review of "No Country for Old Men"; "This movie has more depressed Texans than a Dallas Cowboy playoff crowd."

And honestly, when is the last time a Cowboy player really stepped up in the playoffs in a way that mattered? The whole dynamic on this franchise is just fucked up.

Good luck, Micah.

1 sack in 4 playoff games. Stad padding against junk teams. Terrible against the run. Save the made up analytics stats. Parsons is the Dak of the defense. Parsons was on the field against Green Bay when they could have scored 60 on us in the playoffs if the game wasn't over by halftime.

Odighizuwa, Kenny Clark, and Jay Toia.  DLine is well represented!

The March for Arch has begun. It's all making a surprising amount of sense - hiring a lame duck coach, trading Micah for picks.

Mostly joking. Jerry an idiot

Nah. Archie knows what's it like to be on a team that has no shot of ever winning anything. I would treat Dallas like they did San DIego when Eli came out.

Schottenheimer has been waiting years to get his shot at being the head coach. Be careful what you wish for as you're about to join a long line of people who had to learn the hard way just how screwed up this franchise is. I'm rooting for the guy but he's been handed a fixed deck.

Not sure he would’ve gotten another coordinator role.  He fits Jerry’s profile

It wouldn't matter if we drafted Arch.  He's made a career of wasting talent.

The Arch nonsense needs to die.

1.  It would infer that the Jones actually have some deep plan beyond Jerry watched his glory hole days on the Netflix show and thought "well maybe I could trade Herschel again, spice it up, GM the hell out of this thing"

2. The Mannings would tell the Cowboys to fuck right off.

3.  Arch is coming back for 2026

They're trying to spin this as they really wanted to get someone in who can stop the run and that they can maybe use the 4 1st rounders to get another player. Sure thing, Jerry. Also said they are trying to win now since they made the commitment to Dak...you know the guy who has been injured every year and the whole offense falls apart even when he's in there.

They will be spotlighted in 26 draft for sure.  Lots of picks

Im glad he’s gone.  I believed for the past couple years they should have traded either CeeDee or Micah.  Micah is not worth $47 mil a year; he’s not shown a dominating presence in four years; he’s weak against the run, and is often out of place.  We’ll see how he does in cold weather playing the nfc north all season.  2 ones and a pro bowl DT and all that cap space freed is good stuff.  11 can eat his nachos in Green Bay.

If Arch needed any more reason to stay after 2025 the fact that Cleveland and Dallas will be shopping for a franchise QB is more than enough.

On the upside, Parsons' back is feeling a lot better now.

so much this, he'll play 68 straight regular season games for the packers.

I shut off the radio before Jerry started tossing his word salad. I absolutely refuse to give him any time spent listening. If they ran a chyron counter programming his lies and bullshit I might be able to suffer through it, but outside of Grok or some AI fast research they are so plentiful and so outrageous that humans have a hard time keeping up.

I am lol'ing so hard at the people who think this trade ruins our playoff chances. This team is a solid 3-4 win team even with Micah on defense. We don't have to worry about the playoffs for the foreseeable future.

This.

The only possible scenario where Manning comes out early is if the Saints have the first pick AND somehow Gail Benson takes a break from defending pedophilia to totally overhaul the front office.

And that’s not going to happen.
