Dude....nobody in MAGA land has any problem with that.  As in, they have 0.0% problem with it, because they agree with it.  Here is the transcript, posted again for all of those posters who were super-duper mega-maximum concerned about how inflammatory political rhetoric is really, really bad (a conclusion they just arrived at on September 10th, by the way):

When asked about radicals on the right and radicals on the left, and asked “how do we fix this country?”, this was the response of the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES: “I couldn’t care less.  The radicals on the right oftentimes are radical because they don’t want to see crime.  They don’t want to see crime.  Worried about the border.  They’re saying ‘we don’t want these people coming in, we don’t want you burning our shopping centers, we don’t want you shooting our people in the middle of the street.’  The radicals on the left are the problem.”

Translation: radical violence on the right is okay, because they are just worried about crime and the border and such.  The following is a list of SOME of such "radicals on the right" who were "worried about the border" and "don't want to see crime," and took action in furtherance of those goals (and again, we're not guessing -- they literally said that's why they did what they did, verbally and in writing):

El Paso shooter: murdered 22 hispanic people.

Buffalo shooter: murdered 9 black people.

Tree of Life shooter: murdered 11 jewish people.

In case you missed it, not only did the President say those are not a problem, he said they are okay, because he agrees with their motives.

Political violence is okay, and the President "couldn't care less" about it, so long as it is in furtherance of causes he agrees with.

Defend this, MAGAs.  Defend this, all of you who over the past 48 hours were super-duper pissed about politically inflammatory rhetoric causing (you thought) a single death.  I mean, since you now see that such rhetoric caused at least 42 deaths, AND you see that the President is fine with that rhetoric (which you yourself said is a bad thing), DEFEND IT.

I think January 6th probably belongs on this list.

Also, note that the question/challenge I've raised above, to all of those folks who were super concerned about "inflammatory political speech leading to violence," has been raised at least three times just by me.

Number of those folks who have the balls to address it:

b572de08-d35a-4488-b76e-50db83263835_tex

And here's why: because they actually don't have any problem with inflammatory speech inciting people to violence.  They fucking LIKE it.  How do we know?  Because the people spouting that inflammatory shit, about "vermin," and "invaders?"  They joyfully voted to put them in office and give them absolute power.  They spoke their support for it at the ballot box.

They want brown people murdered.

They want black people murdered.

They want jewish people murdered.

They want trans people murdered.

They want cops working at the CDC murdered.

Understand that yet again, every accusation is a confession.  MAGA wants you dead.  Because their president wants you dead.  He just fucking said so.

Oh, about 20-30 other events do, but I was confining it to (1) events that were based on the issues the POTUS just spoke about (immigration and "crime") where (2) we have direct and plain-spoken statements by the killer of "yep, that's why I killed those people."

You are giving too much credit. This is akin to all leftists want to murder. You are forgetting a massive amount of folks are completely clueless to the ramifications of their actions. I was there with Bush. Hindsight is 20/20.

Edit; there are bad actors but the bulk of the folks that got us here were just reacting to a machine they thought they understood.

Honestly I would allow suicide as an option, I know that sounds crazy but I would explain there are only three ways out of this, life or worse in prison, death by cop or suicide. The only that is unacceptable to me is death by cop bc others may be hurt.

Nope.  Sorry.  They've made it fucking clear.  There was no missing the El Paso murders, the Buffalo murders, the Tree of Life murders, and why they were committed.  The killers said so, in plain language.

They know.  They've always known.  And now, their GodKing just said they are okay, and he "couldn't care less."  Because he wants everyone who opposes him dead, and his supporters agree with him.  Fuck this apologist excuse bullshit.  They KNOW.

I agree with you with the regime. What I am saying is everyone that voted for it doesn't believe this. They thought they were doing what was best for them. There are crazies for sure, but not 70 million.

You underestimate the human capacity for evil, including evil by semi-apathy.

You also attribute ignorance to them that is not correct.

They may not know every detail.  But....they know.  See the baker in the BOB "Why We Fight" episode.  He didn't work in the camp.  But he fucking knew.  And he went along with it, because he "thought he was doing what was best for him."

Yes, 70 million people think that "what's best for them" is open season on "the other," because hey, it doesn't hurt ME, and might help ME.

Stop underestimating the ubiquity and banality of evil.  It is a blind spot that may kill us (who are we kidding -- it already has.  We've ingested the fatal poison, now we're experiencing the organs shutting down.  Death follows.  It is inevitable now).

What I believe doesn't matter, clearly. What do you believe? What is the solution to this? We all die? It is exhausting. The fact you dont see that you are part of the problem is telling. Defeat! Bud, we are on the same side of this, aside from the part where everything is over. Lets regroup tomorrow or another day. It ain't great but nothing is fucked dude. Right up to the point where the red button is pressed, there is a solution.  The button hasn't been pressed despite what you say.  Go look at some tetas, take a walk with your wife, hug your kids and look at the stars. This isn't the end until you give up.

To steer this slightly back to the general area that @troph mentioned--the family of the accused, what a gut punch. They have three children and yet here they are facing a nightmare from which they will never be able to escape--the infamy of their oldest son's actions. Your children never stop being your children and I can't imagine how I'd deal with that. (Okay, the phrasing on this last sentence is sketchy, but I mean I can't imagine how I'd deal with the events that occurred.)

Oh hey, turns out the Kirk shooter was motivated by far right rhetoric from Nick Fuentes, who also espouses the kind of far right rhetoric that motivated the El Paso shooter. Looks like @Frank Drebin needs to worry way less about surly posters and more about the sick people over on his side of the political spectrum.

I don't know if there is a solution.  But, there is a fight.  And I'll do all I can, however I can, for as long as I can.  I just have no illusions about our chances of success.  But trust me, I'm gifted at running headfirst into an immovable wall repeatedly, because fuck you.  Just don't lie to yourself about how this is almost certain to end.

On that, we're on the same page.  At least the first two are on the agenda this weekend.  And I got to spend some good time with my kids this past month.  Truly, some great moments.  And now, they are elsewhere.  And I also know that there may - and likely will - come a day when our conversation is "don't come back here.  It's not safe."

But for now, tetas and time with the wife for sure.

While I agree with this, man, would I sure fucking love to be able to tell Brisket that he's been wrong about something once in the past 9 years. So would he.

But where do you go from the President of the United States, in plain words (not his usual word salad), telling everyone on live TV that some political violence is justified, and the fault lays entirely on the other side who must be stopped?

And that's on a day where, let's be real, he didn't get the outcome that he was hoping for. In fact, he got about the exact opposite, but the narrative must continue.

His President just said that he doesn't care if people commit violence because they "don't want to see crime" and are "worried about the border."  Which is literally the exact motivation stated by the El Paso "scumbag."  That guy isn't a "scumbag" to the President - the president "couldn't care less" if guys like him commit acts of violence.

Perfection.  The MAGA self-owns are infinite.

Pro tip to finding him: start two threads, one about a black person killing a white person, then another diet thread where posters get to unapologetically brag about how self-disciplined they've become and how much venison is in their meat freezer. He'll keep both at the top of page.

I'm not sure what sort of rise you are looking for here. I don't want anyone killed, most of us don't. Whether you are a larger target than me, whom you have no idea, I'm not sure, but its going to be a cancer or a heart attack. But this sort of conversations, can't you just tuck it back in the cloak room? Everyone gets it.

There are right wingers who want hispanics dead.  They want them dead because they are "worried about the border."

When asked if those people were a problem, the POTUS (1) said "he couldn't care less," (2) listed those exact beliefs as acceptable motivations, and (3) deflected and said the real threat was left-wing violence.

There's no "leap" to get there.  He just walked across the room and got there himself.

I'm glad you aren't the first kind of German.  But the second kind of German was just as necessary for the crime to happen.  Try being the third type of German, and fight against that shit, that hate, with everything you have.

I find it fucking repulsive that many of you waited on bated breath to see which side is to blame and mock one another. I think that is bullshit. I really despise that this stuff bleeds into other areas where folks try and stay politics free.

At least people waited to find out, unlike the politicians on the right

You came into a thread about a far right political commentator being murdered and expected it to be politics free?

And you are unhinged. This is known.

Also, if it's "unhinged" to sound the fucking alarm when our nation is in the thrall of a man and movement that said....well, exactly what he said today...shit, buy me a "proudly unhinged" t-shirt and I'll wear it all the way to the re-education camp I'm sent to.

You're making all kinds of leaps to get from what he said, to him wanting you dead. It’s kind of wild. I know you don't see it, but that's the truth.

That rhetoric is a negative, but I didn't hear him incite people to murder.

And you are unhinged. This is known. Try to have a normal weekend and do whatever you need to do to calm down in a harmless manner.

Play a game. Replace Trump with Obama. Imagine Obama being asked about what we can do to stop violence from both sides.

What would he say?

Would he say "well, The radicals on the left often times are radical because they don't want to see oppression.. They don't want to see inequality. Worried about  equal rights. They're saying, We don't want our freedom to marry who we want disrupted. We don't want you taking away Trans rights to exist. We don't want you shooting our people in the middle of the street,"

"The radicals on the right are the problem," Obama continued, "and they're vicious and they're horrible.

And if Obama did say that, how would you, as a person on the right, interpret that?

I did not, I expected it to be exactly what this is, which is exhausting for the board. You should know, you have 27k posts, but maybe you are part of the problem.
