I still want to know what the hell was happening in practice that made our coaches go "You know, I think Connor Stroh needs to be on the field. Like all the time. Beginning with the first snap of the season at Ohio State."

This all started when they promoted Gia to assistant OL coach.

Yes

Trying to discuss anything logical with morons is a waste of time.

Oh man the irony.

In terms of transfer RB’s, the room we have is very expensive and I’m not sure we can justify the NIL dollars to certain players. If you cannot stay healthy, you should not be paid like a blue chip back. Too many great options in the portal.

This is a trap game. Hopefully we can avoid a slow start after a big win

given how this season has unfolded, the concept of any game being a trap game is two-fold

1 - no game the rest of the season can be a trap game given the shitshow we gave the world, surpassed only by pedder

2 - every game is a trap game from here forward because we have plumbed the marianas trench of fail and until we have proven we're past that we haven't proven we're past that

3- both 1& 2: /parcells

Perhaps I misunderstood your post. Mea culpa. I agree we need more viable options to give Wisner a break.

I misunderstood what he meant by "we cannot keeping user Wisner" to mean don't play Wisner as opposed to don't over play Wisner.

Makes sense.  I've done it.

We just played against the top rated RB in the portal and he took 0 snaps.

What’s going on with Derrick Williams? Thought he was awesome when he played his true freshman year and last year before his injury. I had half expected McDonald at Star some to get Derrick Williams on the field at safety, but with Filsaime getting Star snaps along with Littleton and JJR seeing the field at safety, it’s almost like Derrick Williams is still hurt or considering a transfer. Kinda weird.

Unless one of them blows up the second half of the season, Sark needs to go all in on a senior RB transfer in the offseason.

As out of left field (or absurd or insane, choose your preferred adjective) as this is, I wish Nick Townsend had been cross-training in the backfield.  He did everything for Dekaney, including RB and Wildcat.  He's big, monstrously strong and very fast for his size.  We've already seen how physical he is blocking.  Doubtless it is too late for this, but it might have provided dividends.

He's a pretty fucking intense guy.

Is the "Derrick" thing a bit?

He hasn’t returned to his pre injury form. I’d like to see him come back next year. Hopefully he is back to form and we could use his veteran presence in the secondary.

Ah fuck you’re right, “Derek.” And I knew that.

Also wanted to differentiate from Jonah Williams.

Yeah that is not how it works anymore.

Moose out front and stuff.

By the way please name all of those great running backs in the portal.

Will probably start on ESPN News or ESPN2 then (College Football Scoreboard is from 6-7 CT before Cincy/OKST) and then flip over

Heads up this is going to impact TV coverage for our game

The way that reads to me is they'll start on ESPN. Keyword there is "start."

So to me that means they'll get some time on ESPN, until we kick them to the ESPN News/U curb.

Wait, is your position that Texas fans are responsible for propping up ticket prices to a KY home game the week after OU and 1000 miles away from Austin?

And Vandy is an 11am game in a 100K+ seat stadium, the morning after Halloween 2 weeks from now.

I'm saying across the board shit is imploded for Texas football. Arky is also low. TAMU less than 1/4 what it started out at.

You may have noticed we have 2 losses.  You're not new to this fanbase, we're fickle....it ain't changing so no use bitching about it.

I'm saying that this team has not only a real path to playoffs but a still very real shot at secccg

Sure they do.  And if they win the next two convincingly, I'm sure those ticket prices will turn around.

Like I already said....fickle.

Why?  Georgia doesn’t look unbeatable.  If they do then Aggie is beating us by 2 scores. Vandy too.

Georgia sucks (on offense). We should lose convincingly.

Us?  They start first and are higher ranked right?

I assume we'll start on ESPN news

The bigger draw on ESPN will get the overlap in time. They want the eyeballs and ratings.

Yeah I don't think it works that way. The game that hasn't started yet will start on a different channel, then they move it over.
