Wow..... the ending of the game was possibly the dumbest thing I've seen a pro team do in quite awhile.  Why they didn't foul was beyond confounding.  Why wasn't Pop yelling his head off to foul?  There was 27 seconds left and it was two possession game.  What a fucking hilariously fitting end.

It looked like Pop was yelling to foul

Shit, udoka, Messina and Forbes we're yelling to foul.

Just rolled it back. Pop was on the court yelling at his guys to press them. He obviously wasn’t screaming at his guys to foul for some reason.

Sending a double to try to get a steal before immediately fouling is reasonable but you have to at least do something there.

Nobody moved.... Even the guys right near the bench.  So if they did, then it was wholly ineffective.  The players should have known what to do as well.  At least one of them!  Shit, isn't that what Patty is on the floor for?  Was he out there?

Pop damn near ran out there and fouled someone himself, if no one else was going to bother to do it.

itd be worth the ejection, suspension of game 1 next series(had they won), and most importantly, time stoppage to remind the players to not be fucking idiots

1)  I don’t think that’s “obvious”.

2)  Even if you’re right about what Pop was yelling, LaMarcus also didn’t apply any pressure. So he either didn’t hear him or chose to ignore him

3)  An NBA player shouldn’t need to be told what to do in that situation.  Forbes was pretty clearly telling LA to foul.

DDR is a crazy talented scorer but tries too hard in crunch time and forces stuff, which works out badly.  LMA is great until he's not and he lives and dies by his turnaround J, which would be fine if were a threat to drive (he isn't) or an amazing passer (he's not).  So we got to watch 2.5 quarters of clanks.

The offense was terrible but the defense was worse.  I've never seen a Spurs team so disinterested in playing D.

After sleeping on it here my thoughts.

1: seriously wtf.  Spurs were playing like dog shit, somehow we're close, had a minute chance to win then have the biggest basketball brain fart since jr smith last season.

2: for that reason every player not named Murray, white, or poetl are tradeable, and honestly I won't cry of either of them get traded.  We have a team full of guys that should be the 3rd or 4th option. But if these veterans would improve their game (lamarcus needs to pass better, derozen needs to learn to shoot threes and both of those guys need to work on running PNR together ) ? But assuming Murray is back to his old self and Lonnie develops, that's like 5 guards 6-4 and under, none who are true point guards, or great shooters.

3: taking the 2seed down to the wire in game 7 is probably better than we should have expected.  Plenty of posters thought they'd get run off the court, (which they did at times)

4.  Denver is pretty well coached.  Their ball movement and active defense is something to behold. That 2round series should be fun, and if they get to golden State we might see a record for uncalled moving screens 😀

That's exactly what happened.

That ending wouldn’t make sense at the end of a meaningless game at the end of the regular season much less a game 7.  Either Aldridge thought the game was tied, had more time left, or pops has taught them to do nothing without his say so and Aldridge couldn’t hear.   Or maybe he doesn’t understand basic strategy.  Weird.

Thats worse than Chris Webber calling a time out when there weren’t any time outs. At least that was attempting the right action.
