There was a clip of him posted recently showing him dancing around. Incredible that this is a guy who is in his mid 70s recently had open heart surgery. Amazing and inspiring.  Saw Kiss a few years ago and Paul Stanley has some pretty amazing moves too for his age.

Good stuff

It's been a while since I've seen them, but that seems like a short set.  Not that I'd complain, I just recall three hour shows from them and this seems like may be a two hour show.

Well, they are in their 70's.

But, yeah, that seems short.

My last time seeing them was at Zilker. Think I'm gonna keep it that way. Good concert to end on.

Well, apparently the Zilker show (my last as well) wasn't that much different.  Mind playin' tricks on me I suppose.

I enjoyed the tribute to Waylon, and the humble Austin skyline behind the stage, just before the city went crazy.

Also the most chill crowd ever. Walked almost right up to the stage just before they went on. Everyone was relaxed and happy. Also bumped in to Ronnie as we came in the gate. He was there in a smoking jacket, trying to get someone in. (He had a substantial bodyguard with him.)

Cotton Bowl 1989. Was at this show. Great time.

Was this the Steel Wheels tour? If so, I was there. Got tickets from the Head of Marketing for 97.1 KEGL at the time. She also got me a trip up in “Black Thunder” to ride along on the morning traffic.  That was really cool..(except having to be at Love Field by 4:15am🥱😴)

I consider myself a casual Stones fan. Which is cool because I’m still discovering their “other stuff”.
I could probably live the rest of my life without hearing “Start Me Up” again...ugh.

It's funny that I have actually been thinking about that Tour lately, and all the Steel Wheelchairs jokes, and now with hindsight they weren't even halfway through their career at the time.

Yeah, Mick was 46.  That show was a lot of fun.

As opposed to Mick Jagger and Keith Richards of the local Auto Zone?

But cool video.

If they are like every other Auto Zone employee, they should be great. Plenty of time to practice while hiding in the back, not helping customers.
