Back to the freak show.

Ahh, Kelly Ann, Sarah Huckabee and Mercedes Schlapp coming to the rescue. The always credible trio.

Pelosi is just pushing those buttons. Using Trump as a N64 controller, tapping Z until Bowser throws himself into the lava.

Holy shit.  He said he can't call Nancy "Crazy Nancy"  NOT because it would sound shrill or sexist or insensitive or because such juvenile taunting is beneath mature adults (let alone the President) but because he already has "Crazy Bernie"  and, apparently, he can't use a stupid pejorative on more than one person. So now he's going to have to strain himself to come up with another juvenile taunt for Nancy.

This is a 70+ year old man, folks.

Little known fact, "crazy" is the only word in the english dictionary that has no synonyms. Isn't that nuts? I became deranged and turned into a lunatic when I found that out.

Dems need to start the impeachment inquiry phase or proceedings now. 800 former federal prosecutors who served under both parties have put their name on documentation stating the Mueller Report contains multiple open and shut obstruction of justice crimes. That's all they need. Hell, call them to testify, one by one. Watching Dems mumble amongst themselves, discussing what would be most politically advantageous, pacing back and forth, dipping their toe in the water, while Amash barges through and jumps right in is goddamn embarrassing. The public wants confidence the people they send to DC are going to fight for them, even when the odds aren't in their favor. Dems are failing this right now. They can fix it, but need to commit, win or lose, to being the wind and stop being windsock fear puppets.

I think we need a “Let me impress you with my political skillz - Here’s my thoughts on impeachment” thread.

It’s a good discussion but it keeps derailing both this thread and the Mueller thread.

I started a thread on this well before the Mueller Report... I will bump

I know Pelosi is trying to read the tea leaves and assure a good election outcome, but the average, mouth-breathing voter won't remember the Mueller report if they start impeachment 6-8 months from now. Barr said there's no collusion/obstruction and so does the president, so why are we talking about this again?

We all know Trump is a blowhard with no knowledge of history or government, but how would you like to be an American citizen accused of TREASON by the President?  That's a little too close to the danger zone in my opinion, regardless of how unfounded the accusation might be.  Crimony.

The funny (not funny at all) thing is that we're to the point that nobody on either side takes the president's words to mean anything. We all just accept that he's spewing nothing but bullshit.

Oh, don't kid yourself.  There's plenty of Icono's walking around who think whatever the President utters is the gospel.

Including those who allegedly believe Trump over the Gospel.

The reason the democrats shoot their own dick off is because they play not to lose.  See also Al Gore, Hillary, John Kerry, and Merrick Garland.

Wouldn’t want to piss off the mouth breathers.  Don’t want to be too divisive.  They fail to understand America LOVES divisiveness.  Trump has made politics a blood sport and the democrats are afraid to get in the ring and knock his ass out.   They expect the idiot voters to come to their senses and choose your less bad option.  It’s a recipe for failure.

Since 1980 the candidate with more personality has won every single presidential election. The only possible argument would be Dukakis v. Bush in 1988 where neither candidate had much of any personality. It’s not all about divisiveness. That’s just wrong.

That’s the reality in the TV/boomer voter dominance age.  Guess we shall see if that holds up in the internet/Millenio age.

As far as the democrats go, they’ve mostly won when they were bold/radical.  People easily forget Hillary was a huge radical when she came on the scene with Bill in 1992.  She didn’t get Hillarycare passed but it was a good setup for the next norm busting democrat In Barack Obama.

When the democrats try to play centrist or republican-lite, they lose.  When they.embrace and zealously defend their ideas, they often win.

Respectfully disagree. Bill Clinton was Republican lite post 1994 Gingrich takeover and won in 1996. Obama was republican lite his entire presidency. Fucking Obamacare is Mitt Romney’s own damn plan.

The Trump administration is preparing to circumvent Congress to allow the export to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates of billions of dollars worth of munitions that are now on hold, according to current and former American officials and legislators familiar with the plan.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and other senior aides are pushing for the administration to invoke an emergency provision that would allow President Trump to prevent Congress from halting the sales, worth about $7 billion. The transactions, which include precision-guided munitions and combat aircraft, would infuriate lawmakers in both parties.

They would also further inflame tensions between the United States and Iran, which views Saudi Arabia as its main rival and has been supporting the Houthi rebels in Yemen in their campaign against a Saudi-led military coalition that includes the United Arab Emirates.

American legislators from both parties remain incensed by the Trump administration’s equivocal response to the grisly killing last October by Saudi agents of Jamal Khashoggi, a Washington Post columnist and Virginia resident. They are also frustrated by the administration’s role in supporting the Saudi-led coalition in the Yemen war, a four-year conflict that the United Nations has deemed the world’s worst humanitarian crisis, with thousands of civilians killed and millions suffering from famine

You’re evaluating them after they’ve already won and adjusting to the climate.  The reason the got to the presidency was by not being republican-lite.

The reason they got to the presidency is they both had better personalities than their opponents and both benefited from recessions before the elections, one mild and one severe.

There will be a full 180 when convenient. Just look at W. Bush. He could do no wrong with the GOP when he was in office. Now those same people hate him for being a globalist, free-trading warmonger who had too much compassion for brown people. Politics does strange things to people.

This is so incredibly embarrassing that you can't help but cringe watching this pathetic scene.

Expect even more of this the longer Pelosi refuses to give Trump what he wants.  This is absolutely killing him.  Trump expects to get anything he wants.  But he's not being impeached.  Not only that, but a woman is the one that is clowning him, which is even more insulting to Trump.

We're getting closer and closer to a Howard Beale, "I'm as mad as hell and I'm not gonna take this anymore" type breakdown on live TV.

And it's going to be over stuff like President Warren using the wrong fork.

You do remember he was a very popular governor of Arkansas before becoming President, right? Southern Democrats didn't get elected unless they were republican-lite.

Yeah, but Bill’s platform was Healthcare and Education reform.   He might have played republican-lite in Arkansas but he ran for president as a liberal. However, he did shoplift that small government bullshit from the republicans.  Plus he had the draft dodging, the sluts, and Hillary.  Not exactly Republican-lite

his platform:
