Can any of you imagine Vince Young giving a half-assed effort in a bowl game because he "didn't want to be there"? Yeah, me neither.

If you don't show up ready to play in the goddamned Sugar Bowl, all other circumstances being whatever the hell they are, you're not a champion, and you don't belong in the conversation.

All you need to know about The University of Georgia is that the State of Georgia's agricultural school is in Athens Georgia.

I never got the Georgia in the Top 4 argument. They lost two regular season games and their non-con was garbage. Its madness.

They lost once @ LSU and once in the conference championship game to Bama, but that’s the thing. That conference championship was a play-in game. You could make an argument that Bama would’ve made it regardless, but that was Georgia’s chance.

Only 4 conferences failed to achieve an overall  winning record in post season play - American, MAC, Pac-12 & They SEC.

And they didn't even come close to winning theirs.

secX3 have all these built in advantages when it comes to bowl games and didn't do shit.

Top to bottom deepest conference my ass.

do you not understand that if they wanted to be in the sugar bowl they would have destroyed us?  we only won because they didn’t care about the game.

Same reason they lost the CCG and didn’t get into the CFP. They were too disappointed that their body of work on the season didn’t merit an auto-championship of the $EC and concomitant CFP bid.

SEC teams are very emotionally fragile. It’s the price they pay for all that speed.

Yes and their previous year claim to fame was “we avoided Bama until the playoffs and finished first in recruiting.

They have won exactly shit and seemed miffed they weren’t given the auto bid.

Too bad they were too young for Flava Flav's mantra "Don't believe the hype"

Amazing that this game didn’t count for Georgia. They are heading in the right direction with an amazing QB (Fromm) who got embarrassed by a sorry Big 12 defense. While Ehlinger on the other hand whooped one of the top defenses in the SEC, but he and the Texas team are heading in the wrong direction for 2019. Don’t ever change ESPN.

I am surprised ESPN accepts that Georgia are a bunch of losers who don't bother to show up and think that is a positive. Having a culture of complacency = headed in the right direction?

How does Georgia have any right to be complacent anyway? Until their playoff run in 2017 they were notorious chokers for 30 years.
