Roma.

I never go to the movie house so always behind in my viewing, but nothing comes within a mile of this that I have seen.

Lean on Pete and The Rider are within a mile.

I really enjoyed lots of lighter stuff (Deadpool II), but the darker, richer stuff really stuck with me.

My daughters are always trying to convince me to go to movies based upon Rotten Tomato scores - half of which are above 90%.  Instead, I don't go to movies.  Mary Poppins Returns is way too far down the list.

Hannah Gadsby's comedy special has a 100% RT score. You should watch that. You'll never stop laughing. Trust RT.

i don't think it's there to prove to anyone that some movie at 91 is better than some movie at 86, but i find it a fairly useful tool.  crowdsourcing works yo.

It would be one thing if there were occasional comic book movies like in the 90s and early 00s, but it feels like half the movies in the theater are fucking comic book movies now. The fuckers are inescapable. Are we going to get any new big budget stuff anymore that isn’t attached to an existing franchise?  Seems like that shit is pretty dead.

what the fuck is the deal with all you grown men being into fucking spiderman and the comic book movies?  or have I mislabeled you as grown men?  I mean I guess they might be entertaining, I don’t know.  I don’t have kids so I haven’t seen them.

I only saw your #10 and #1.  “green book” is phenomenal.  “you were never really here” was fucked up, but good.

I’m not really into the comic book movies. They’re all running together now and hard to separate one from the other. But Spiderverse was just so different and well done all around - visuals, story, everything about it. Of the others mentioned A Star is Born was really good and well done but I’d seen all of the other versions. It was definitely a step up. It’ll probably win the Oscar.
