Texags:

The controlled substance was Ketamine!
WTAW.com reported...........

19 year old Mckinnley Jackson is out of jail after posting bonds totaling $22,000 dollars.
According to a July 30th affidavit from Texas A&M police, Jackson told officers on April 12th that a canister containing pills and 1.418 ounces of marijuana was his.
UPD learned that 21.71 grams of pills that were sent to a DPS lab for testing were the controlled substance Ketamine.
According to the affidavit, video surveillance showed the canister fell out of Jackson's backpack as he was walking to his apartment in the Park West complex on A&M's west campus.
The canister was found by a custodian, who gave the canister to their manager who in turn contacted UPD.

NIL money for bail. This is working out nicely.

Prosecutor’s going to have a little challenge with the chain of custody.
And the custodian probably should think about moving. Sip, no doubt.

Back when Claiborne and Golden pulled the pistol on the student during the drug deal (2014?) both were indicted on level 2 felonies.

Both off the team immediately. Golden got 10 years in prison that was lowered to 3 months in prison and the remainder on probation. Lifetime convicted felon.

Yes, after he talks to his lawyer, he’ll say that it was Tylenol in that container. The manager must’ve put the keto in there. Or the custodian. Sips will do anything to bring down the sleeping giant, dontchaknow?

I guess the article isn't too clear on whether he said the canister was his without commenting on what was inside, or the "canister and pills and weed" were his. You'd think the former but if the latter, seems tougher to wiggle out of.

She won a gold medal at the Olympics, and Texags uses some of their federal bailout dollars to pay for a Facebook ad using her accomplishment.

Few people can image the level of hate and vitriol and the death threats that would be directed at this woman by outraged aggys if she dared to want to be a cheerleader for the football team.

The people of Texas deserve better than Texas A&M.

Meh.  You’re trying too hard on this one, RD.  Step away from the keyboard for a while and enjoy your Sunday.

For the record, Mu is awesome.

She is a great athlete. I absolutely never said anything to the contrary.

But heaven forbid she aspire to being a cheerleader for the A&M football team. They would turn on her in an instant for not "knowing her place."

Even though she is an Olympic champion, she is still a woman, and at Texas A&M that means "she doesn't have the abilities necessary" to be a cheerleader to the football team. Up until just a few years ago, she wouldn't have "qualified" to care for the school dog.

How fucked up is that?

Why are you even going there? Did she say in an interview that not making the aggy cheer squad was a blessing in disguise and it fueled her to olympic gold? You know that Jimbo Fisher wouldn't last a minute in the corp, and those damn engineering students would make horrible vets. Mu just won olympic gold. Lighten up Francis.

Any culture that perceives female cheerleaders on the sidelines at football games as a clear and present danger to society deserves to be relentlessly mocked. Regardless of whether that cultural backwater is in Saudi Arabia or Brazos County, Texas.

Any silly prancing sideline routine done by the current aggy football cheerleaders wouldn't require much from an Olympic champion. They certainly wouldn't have to stay up practicing past midnight the night before the game. How many prancing routines do they have? Five, maybe six, at the most? aggys seem like some really slow learners. How could a female prancing in a milkman costume on the sideline be any more cringeworthy than what they have today?

Seriously, "higher education" should be about more than cultural indoctrination with a small side serving of rote memorization. The aggy gender roles that define aggy culture are a cultural malignancy. Remember their "traditional" rule that mandated only male students could care for the school dog? Because women couldn't master the "technical aspects" of using Pantane, a blow dryer, and a hair brush? One almost thought they expected the earth to stop rotating when a (*gasp!*) girl was allowed to care for that dumb dog.

When any public university won't allow an Olympic champion the opportunity to be a football cheerleader because of the risks doing so would pose to society, the students, administrators, and alumni of that university who support that policy need to be publicly shamed and mocked relentlessly.

So wait, is this story saying he lost a bottle he knew had 200g of Ketamine in it and was dumb enough to claim it, or that he later admitted it was his as part of a plea deal?

Because if it’s the first, then they should just give him an honorary A&M degree right now. He’s one of them.

She’s a USA gold medalist. Just leave it at that, RD.

I’d like to think that aggy is highlighting her for her accomplishments….instead of being an aggy student so that somehow a&m was the reason for her accomplishments.  Not sure if other schools congratulated their athletes for Olympic success….NTTAWWT.

No, the argument that no woman can be allowed to be a cheerleader for the football team at any “institution of higher education” is thinking that has loooong been completely discredited.

“Just leaving it” at “We will celebrate her as long as she knows her place. If she tries to be a cheerleader she will immediately be subjected to death threats” is important to aggys, but it has no place in the world of legitimate (as opposed to aggy) higher education.

When women are no longer treated as second class individuals at Texas A&M, it will be to the immediate benefit of the people of Texas. Your “just look the other way when you see aggy misogyny” suggestion doesn’t fly with everyone. Certainly not me.

When any Olympic gold medalist is prevented from being a cheerleader for their school football team because of “tradition” it screams that something is very long.

It’s time society quits shitting on women and it’s time people quit insisting others “just look the other way” when sick, malignant cultures keep insisting women can’t be allowed to be college football cheerleaders.

You remind me of the idiots half a century ago who tried to use law enforcement to “save” ‘wimmuns who dared to want to run a marathon”.

You can’t celebrate an Olympic champion and, at the same time, insist she must be limited from athletic exertion for her own good.

Well, you can if you think like an aggy.

No.

A half-century after Title IX we are still having to either accept or completely ignore an Olympic gold medalist is de facto prohibited from being a cheerleader for her collegiate football team because of redneck misogyny.

How does any responsible person (not hiding behind a social media screen name) remain silent to the aggy sickness that both “celebrates” her as one of “them” and then denigrates her as unacceptable as a school cheerleader.

The “We gots to save them wimmuns ovaries from over exertion” (which was discredited over a half century ago) and “we must protect this wimmun Olympic champ-ee-un from the riggers of sideline prancin’ in milkman suits” is indicative of the malignancy of aggy culture.

No, I’m not going to play aggy and “look the other way.”

Too many women in my life would look down on me if I “looked the other way.”

Say what you want, but I believe women don’t need fat, white trash, redneck men defining their limitations.

Likewise, Olympic gold medalists don’t need fat, white trash, redneck men “protecting” them from the dangers of prancing like a queen on the sideline during an aggy football game.

There is a sickness deep inside aggy culture.

The people of Texas deserve better than Texas A&M.

I'm offended because Texas wouldn't allow any of its male Olympic winners to be a member of Pom.  I think this guy would have looked good in assless chaps.

As much as you may hate it, the culture of The University of Texas doesn’t dictate cultural racial or gender limitations. It’s not what we do.

Salivate all you want over the thought of this athlete in assless chaps, you sick fuck.

Fat, redneck fucks who insist on imposing limitations on athletes because “We needs to pro-text thems ovar-rees” are sick people.

That any Olympic gold medalist is deemed “insufficient” to prance around on a football game sideline is indicative of a sickness within that culture.

Regardless of how much you want to restrict those who prance around on sidelines of misogynist, white trash football games, I’m not going to play your game and “look the other way.”
