  1. I'm pissed, I'm not at all happy with what has gone down the last 2 weeks. I'm disgruntled at the fact that we have had 2 similar 2nd half collapses which led to losses in games that were wins. I'm disgusted with the pathetic excuse of an offensive line. That doesn't mean I'm shutting the site down. That doesn't mean we aren't going to have a tailgate for Kansas and Kansas state. That doesn't mean we are going to stop paying players. Get your shit together and stop embarrassing yourselves.

  2. Yeah, let's fire the dude because the offense that should support him had 4 straight 3 and outs and a pick that kept his defense on the field for the majority of the 3rd and 4th quarters. 1 yard in the 4th quarter. Never mind how his defense held oSu to 6 points in the first half.

  3. Ok, I’ll bite. First of all, I never anywhere said he was a “good coach.” I said I was feeling good about the direction we were headed in under Sark, and I think that was after the TCU game. I think the jury is still out. Here are my thoughts: 1. Shitshow offensive line. How do you judge a coach who is in his first year with an offensive line this abhorrent? If we had even a mediocre offensive line, I think we’re undefeated. 2. Assistant coaches and organization. Outside of the WR coach, I was pleased with every single hire he made. Now maybe PK doesn’t work out, or someone else, but there wasn’t one of us who thought he was a bad hire. 3. I don’t think I’ve ever felt as confident in our offensive play calling. And I again believe that if we didn’t have a wet paper bag for a line, this season would be entirely different. Maybe you lay the blame for this line in the coaches not using the portal. I get that argument. I also believe it’s hard to tell what you have on the line until you get into actual games, just like it’s hard to recruit surefire offensive linemen. 4. Recruiting chops. I think this staff has them. Now his clock management and some decisions like kicking the field goal vs. going for it give me pause. I’m waiting to see what he learns, if anything. Fellas, we suck ass and we have for a decade. But at some point you have to stick with a coach. Out of Charlie, Turtle, and Sark, I’ll roll with Sark. And if I’m wrong, I’m wrong. I’m happy to stand behind that. But you should all hope to hell he’s the guy. We can’t keep on switching coaches and hope to have any success here. Nobody wants to admit that first year coaches have to go through some warts, but they simply do. Theres too much irrationality around here with talk like “well if we win out…” right after the OU game. We were never going to win out after that game. Newsflash, we’re going to lose more games this season. None of us knows how Sark will be as a coach long-term. That’s a simple fact.

  8. You know, this really demonstrates what a sad importance you put on your pose. You're the comparatively smart guy because you can demand a defense for the indefensible. Okay, I'll defend in the same simpleton type of argument you use. He's obviously the greatest offensive Texas coach ever because we scored 48 points against OU. Attack it! You're like an Aggie wanting to claim historical dominance over Texas by discounting every season prior 1975. We don't know yet how good a coach Sark will be. We're both guessing. My guess is optimistic. I don't state my guess as a known truth. There is not enough evidence. Hang your hat on one quarter. Genius.

  10. Outlier? I don't think you understand how football works. Other than AL how good has any other team been? Oklahoma has been good in our little pond. who else? We have 1 national championship and 1 national champ game appearance since the turn of the century. Tell me the 25 teams better than that. yeah we've sucked since 2010, so have a ton of other teams. Fuck, Georgia hasn't won dick in forever. Aggie? They have sucked ass for almost 100 years. Fuck you.

  11. Your need to create categories "sunshine pumpers" is what drives your "analysis", not reason. Further evidenced by not being able to address basic questions about your assertions, instead flying into entirely new ones. We got our asses spanked by Arkansas and failed to hold off the late-game surges of two undefeated teams. Outcoached? Definitely, but this "Sark is a proven failure now" horeshit is melodrama. Odds are always on the side of predicting failure when the only condition of success is undefeated national championship seasons. Also, you don't actually believe you're going to wait patiently or dispassionately. That violates the gimmick.

  12. What kind of Aggy, Pussy Shit is this? Fuck the SEC. We will be great at football again. It may not be this coach, but we have way too many advantages not to excel as we always have. Fuck this guy.

  19. I'm really starting to see the upside to all of this. We've been praying to Darwin for a long time to bring along something to deepen the gene pool again. I think our prayers were answered. We just need to hold tight and let it run its course. Those kids will be fine. They're now with much smarter and more capable people and will probably be raised in a more tribal setting rather than nuclear family. Good, we need to grow up knowing our world is more than just our house. I'm not saying it's good-good, but it's not bad-bad, per se. And yes, I did just rip the bong, why do you ask?

  21. Exactly. I did not go to UT because of football. I went there for academics. I am way to proud of everything our school accomplishes to turn my back. Hook Em and Fuck Oklahoma.

  24. Eh, I’d give a shit if Bill passed. I was a sophomore at Bama when he ran his first campaign and I volunteered for the campus Young Democrats. And I was the distinct minority in my fraternity/sorority social circle. I wore my Clinton/Gore button EVERYWHERE. I got some good natured ribbing but no hateful responses or anything. When he won, me and 6 sorority sisters jumped in the car with no plans and hauled it to Little Rock to take in the history and celebrate. It was an amazing and awe inspiring experience. I’ll be damned if his subsequent shitty behavior will rob me of the jubilation I felt. Pics or it didn’t happen you say? So, yeah, I’d be sad - but not because of him but because what that election meant to me.

  25. I'm not opposed to criticizing and questioning our coaches' product on the field, even when considering the resources they have to work with. Sark's play calling has been an upgrade, but there are still a few WTF moments per game. The defensive side of the ball is a bit more concerning. The defense did not lose yesterday's game, but they were the unit that needed to sustain performance when the offense got shut down. The personnel decisions and defensive formations still lead me to question whether PK is the right hire. Right now, I'm holding my final judgment of Sark until I see his recruiting classes and portals, since talent is our biggest issue right now. That being said, holy shit... We have 7-8 redundant "look at me" threads on the football page right now. You would think that the "This is Who Steve Sarkisian is" thread would be enough. But no, we need a poll about Sark being a fraud, our fourth quarter yardage, and some other bullshit hypothetical debates. These two losses have been incredibly painful, but you're not the only one disappointed and pissed. There's no need to clobber a good football page with drunken idiocy. Then we have people posting on this thread about how Mack's success was only because of VY and it was a "fluke". HOLY. FUCKING. SHIT. Get a hold of yourselves. Ten straight ten win seasons was not a fluke. We had four BCS bowl game appearances, two of which were National Championships, and three of which were victories. We had a solid recruiting pipeline with a badass defenses and special team units. Also, if Mack wasn't an unlucky motherfucker, we would've had another MNC appearance in 2008 and probably a win in 2009 if it wasn't for a freak injury. VY was a generational talent, but there are 22 positions on a football team. These rosters were stacked with talent and we were the most complete team in the nation in 2005 and arguably in 2008. This was no "fluke". I know that Mack Brown left on incredibly poor terms, but you can still appreciate what he did before his fall. Lastly, there's the "we will never be good again idiocy". It literally takes one correct hire to change things. Our resources didn't disappear overnight. The right coach will establish the recruiting machine and being in the SEC will only HELP that aspect of the program.

  28. We can't win a conference championship in the Big 12, so we might as well move to a conference where there is more money to be made, better games on the schedule, and more competition. Moving to the SEC is going to be fantastic.

  29. Delete thread, ban user. It's his first season. The rule is he gets a mulligan for this year only. Next year, all gas, no excuses. We can still finish 9-3, nothing is fucked... yet. Definitely glad we have a bye next week.

  32. Foster and Coburn were overrated by the services and I firmly believe that, no copium, always have. As for development, yeah it's sucked by and large with some exceptions during Strong and Herman years. We've all known and accepted that yet plenty of chucklefucks think a new coaching staff is fraudulent if they don't take a team full of underdeveloped projects straight to a conference title in year one. Even as bad as the last two losses have felt, there's been notable coaching progress with regards to special teams and penalty accrual, ref fuckery notwithstanding. Hell even the fact we lead at any point over teams that would have us chasing them frantically in the 4th quarter under Herman is progress. As for Tyler Johnson vs Delance, the latter was a Charlie guy and he left when the regime cratered and he saw no future for himself at Texas, good for him. Stability is important, relationships are important, evaluation is important, development is important; let's give Sark a chance rather than be reactionary fucks after 7 games that think we're a proper hire or two away from the playoffs, because that's the easy rationale
