Update on the greatest recruiting class of all time: Looking back at The Greatest Recruiting Class of All-Time, HOLLAAAA!!!!: Walter Nolen - gone Evan Stewart - gone LT Overton - gone Denver Harris - gone Jacoby Mathews - gone Anthony Lucas - gone PJ Williams - gone Jake Johnson - gone Smoke Bouie - gone Marquis Groves-Killebrew - gone Chris Marshall - gone Bobby Taylor - gone Ish Harris - gone Ethan Moczulski - gone Shemar Stewart - stayed - leaving early - draft pick Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy - gone Conner Weigman - gone Enai White - gone Bryce Anderson - stayed Kam Dewberry - gone Le'Veon Moss - stayed Malick Sylla - gone Donovan Green - stayed -got fat and slow after being hurt, getting married. rumored to be leaving in winter 2024 window Hunter Erb - gone Martrell Harris - gone Theo Melin Ohrstrom - stayed Jadon Scarlett - stayed - 8 snaps all year Jarred Kerr - stayed - 35 snaps all year Noah Thomas - stayed Mark Nabou - stayed 21/30. Moss, Nabou, Ohrstrom, Anderson, Thomas are the only true producers to have stuck it out. Anderson was a borderline 5 star and now might not be drafted. The others were mid-to-bottom of the class and have outshined the heralded highly ranked guys. This is the kind of class that destroys a program.35 points

Texas A&M now has lost 17 players to the portal and 2 declaring early for the draft. They signed 25 guys in this recruiting cycle. I have no idea how many seniors are out of eligibility and moving on. I also have no idea how many scholarship players they had this season. That all said, I’m assuming they have quite a few guys they’re going to need to transfer to ATM or they’re going to be very short again. This was a problem last year and they ended up having to jagger up. If these guys don’t crush it in the portal, they are truly going to suck next season.24 points

In Atlanta before the game the wife and I ate breakfast at a table next to Sorrell’s parents. I didn’t want to whip his ass too much, but I asked him if he came in under Herman. Dad said Herman was head coach, but they loved Oscar Giles and that was why he signed with Texas. I also asked about Sark, dad said Sark is straight to the point, but the guy everyone listens to is PK. Since I already wrote this out i got one more quicky. The dad was texting with Barryn at the table and dad texted him to go get some revenge. Barryn texted back revenge makes it about Georgia, this is about us we are playing for respect. Real nice family.22 points

"What I love about Trump is that he tells it like it is" (Trump admits to sexual assault) "That's just locker room talk" (Trump tells everyone he's going to be a fascist dictator) "That's just campaign rhetoric" (Trump tells everyone the last election was stolen) "Obviously correct!" (Trump tells everyone he doesn't know how our elections even work) "He's clearly trolling you guys" You stupid shits...19 points

Remember that time the aggies made their bag dropping dline coach the interim coach for the bowl game even though he was already employed by Syracuse (and recruiting for them) with the idea they could keep the greatest recruiting class ever intact for the next coach so they could beat the sips in the renewal of the rivalry?19 points

Jordan Scruggs (Horns 247): "Was told a few weeks ago that if Singleton goes in the portal, Texas would be one of the schools to watch as the Longhorns are one of a small handful of programs that Singleton is actually high on. Not sure of Texas' interest level quite yet, but I think Singleton checks all of the boxes Texas usually looks for and I think this would make a lot of sense." Also, another Aggie '2218 points

Drives me crazy that their punter got hurt and we STILL weren't looking for the fake. Felt the same way about the last play. They send in Beck with a broken arm and we STILL couldn't stop that run up the gut.16 points

I completely disagree. If you tell the lady behind the counter at Popeyes that the cops are after you, she'll let you hide in the back and bring you some iced tea. Now, if you ask for a three-piece spicy with red beans and rice while you hide, she'll give you some attitude and come back with a two-piece mild and fries. But you win some, you lose some.16 points

If playing number 12 Clemson at home is too high pressure for this team they weren’t ready for anything. Have fun generating hypothetical nonsense to worry about this week though.15 points

Signed up just to post in this thread. My older son and I are Georgia Tech grads (we "got out"). My younger son is Texas Ex (CS). I fell in love with UT while he was there. My two favorite teams are the Horns and the Jackets. Both great academic schools with great traditions. I've had two consecutive games of this SEC officiating bullshit with georgia. The officials pulled georgia back into the GT game in the second half. On a fourth down play in the end zone, they called a bullshit PI. The announcers said the ball "appeared to be tipped." Reviewed? Nope. If it was tipped, no PI. Then on a GT fumble, you see a georgia player come in with his head down, and the King's (QB) head snap sideways. The comment was that the georgia player's helmet hit the ball. That caused King's head to go sideways? Was it reviewed? Nope. Either one of those is called, and georgia loses. There is more--just like last night. I confess that I turned off the TV after the twin PI (as someone on this board called it) followed by the roughing the passer call to cover up the intentional grounding. I knew right then there was no way ABC/SEC were going to let UT win. Yes, I screamed at the TV before I turned it off. There was no way ABC/SEC were going to let an unranked team beat an SEC team that had qualified for the Championship game--and would have 3 losses. There was no way ABC/SEC were going to let a conference newcomer beat georgia--that would have suggested that the SEC was somehow weak. Then we have SMU and Clemson. Clemson had zero penalties. Same thing--would ABC/ACC allow a newcomer to further show ACC weakness? ABC/ESPN have huge investments in these conferences to protect. Just business I guess, but a sport without correctly enforced rules is not a sport. Hook 'em14 points

On its surface, that looks like a multi level fusion at the L4-L5 and L5-S1 levels. I'm a little thrown off because I don't see a spacer and usually that low, they take use an ALIF approach so he should also have the pedicle screws from the front. This was likely because the two discs were either extremely degenerated or, more likely for his age, he had repeated herniations at those levels that were inflaming his nerve roots. basically, all of you that have had sciatica, multiply the debilitating pain by 1,000,000. This is effectively the same type of procedure i was referring to in my post on the first page and UHC denied me for about six months. i had to navigate the greatest collection of appellate labyrinths that were clearly designed to dissuade the policy owner and make them give up. i never thought about murdering anyone (other than myself) through the process but as i said on the first page, the chris rock "i understand" meme would apply if my speculation that he had to go through a hellacious process for months on end while in an extreme level of debilitating pain. If one infers that he got the procedure done from that social media profile pic, i wonder if they denied the coverage post-op. that would be weird given that most surgeons/health care companies aren't stepping into the o.r. without pre-approval. but who knows, he may have had someone else go through it or something else made him snap. that said, for the six months i was fighting with them, i would be lying if i did not say i felt a great deal of hostility towards every single person from uhc that i had to deal with including the preliminary litigation process.13 points

OU has 12 guys in the portal so far. That includes a starting CB, their leading receiver in Sharp, Nick Anderson, their 5 star starting QB, and two OLs who started this season. That’s not nothing.11 points
