This is all Texas’ fault.

Every comment by a Nebraska fan on RedditCFB falls into one of the following four categories:

  • "Big bad Texas killed our dynasty by bullying the Big 12 into banning partial qualifiers, stole the 2009 Big 12 title game from us, and destroyed the conference with their greed."
  • "We're totally absolutely definitely still a blue-blood."
  • "We just need to recruit more good-ol' corn-fed farm boys like Osborne did to start winning again. Steroids? What are those? We just had a cutting-edge S&C program."
  • "Bring back the Nebraska-Oklahoma game! We need to play the Sooners again. But not Texas."

Somewhere WVU and UH fans, okay fan for the Cougs are yelling " I told you Dana was washed up drunk".

How much are the children of the corn paying Raiola for his terrible Patrick Mahommes impersonation?

Last thing I heard about him was when he passed out in his car at a stoplight.

Somewhat surprisingly he retired as the winningest MAC coach of all time.  Of course that mostly means he didn't get poached like most good MAC coaches because he was so old, but still.

They fired him after a 9-3, top 25 year. I kind of think they started some of the true unreasonable madness. Ans hired Bill Callahan never to recover.

Bill Callahan was even less likable than John Mackovic, if that's possible.

A 58-19 record over six years apparently "wasn't their standard." Imagine if Texas had been insane enough to fire DKR after he went 48-14-3 in his first six years at Texas... right before winning the 1963 national championship.

But still more likeable than Bo Pelini.
