This.  We all bought into the Arch hype, coupled with our previous two years' success, and expected it to continue.  It didn't and now people's heads are exploding.

The August national expectation was absurd. It infected some people's minds. Arch's performance against Ohio State should have immediately lowered all expectations. Certainly the loss to Florida should have. It's a crappy season considering the close games with crap teams, but it was naive to think we'd be the bully boy of college football this season from week 1.

Only logical explanation to me is Texas doesn't have as much money as everyone was jacking around about for the last 4 years.   We look like broke dicks

Since we know that’s false, try again. Or are you Kayce Smith or whoever that clueless aggy bitch is?

Sark-Anon

They read into everything what they hope will happen and will bend things to fit what they think is going to happen and why we're in the predicament of a 3 loss season.

Really?

Nothing would surprise me. I was here when Tom Herman was kissing his players and when Charlie Strong didn’t know his players’ names.

I have no fucking idea how trey and KJ got passed up by a dude from G5 if they are so good. Just like I have no idea how arch didn't pass up Quinn. Do they only coach QB1 and just hope QB2 knows how to already play?

Sark’s insistance on getting KJ Lacey will always baffle me. No 5’11 QB could ever play for the University of Texas. Sure enough that dude looks like he’ll either transfer or ride the bench for 5 years.

This has been a season that Sark went full Jimbo on offense. He absolutely failed the off-season. The early offensive issues could have been predicted, but nobody expected Texas to throw out a bottom 3 OL in the SEC. Arch had his early issues, but he is now a bright spot on the offense. More concerning is the collapse of the defense. 3 straight games of 30+ pts. Coverage bust after coverage bust. I would argue that with reasonable coaching and roster management Texas is easily in the playoffs. Florida loss was Sark going full Jimbo. Texas is in this position based on mismanagement

Let this sink in,

have any of you thought that maybe Sark is playing the long game in regards to Georgia. Perhaps we have those dawgs right where we want them. When we face them in the national championship they will be so full of themselves, so overconfident. Yes, in cuck like fashion we let them take advantage of us, and let them burn us with their bullshit little trick plays. News flash guys it was on purpose, coach even said so. We knew it was coming and we let it happen, so when they try that bush league crap we take that shit to the house!
Ballgame!!!

Has anyone else considered we get everyone’s best shot and everyone is lucky?

I love the sark  apologists   “It’s the talent   It’s not him!?!?”

I mean he picked the players right

Shhhhhh…. They cannot even accept that point. It’s like a circular firing squad where they keep moving the goal posts back to where they started.

Good idea, Sark.

I just wish you'd thought of this sooner. Maybe the bye week before the UGA game?

Some of our fans man. Just several posts up someone was complaining that sark was getting blamed for players not executing. Which makes you wonder what they think his responsibilities should be?

Georgia and Bama would never tolerate what we did this season. that's the reason they are elite programs and we are 20 years removed from our last title.

Bama did the same fucking thing LAST YEAR lol.   This board is insane.   And their toxic 'fans' threw tantrums just like you all are.    I don't know if Sark is the answer here or not but if this board and fanbase is going to lose their fucking minds and want to fire every coach every time we lose 3 games, well get fucking used to it in "NFL parity" that is SEC and College football in general going forward.

You know it's actually funny.  Instead of spending the bye week beating the shit out of each other and getting the OL more reps for Georgia, Steve decided to prepare less.  LMAO.  This guy is fucking clueless.

If I'm the money I threaten his cash flow unless he hires an OC and goes back to hard hitting offseason practices.

3 losses are actually kinda ok, but the team looks like dog shit and there IS smoke that some dereliction of duties is occurring as the reason for those 3 losses and not for a more stellar season (both portal and recruiting negligence and in season management negligence). THAT'S the problem, not the actual losses.

I don’t think UGA thought they were in danger of losing at any point in that game. They were clearly the better team. When we cut the lead to 4, they immediately responded by putting us away.

You're wrong on that one.  You don't go for it on your own 29 on 4th down if you're not worried about losing that game.  TX had momentum at that point, but you could see it evaporate when Simmons jumped off and gave them the 1st down.

They hyped up the NIL era to become child's play bc Texas just has so much darn gawd money

All we heard while LSU, Ole Miss, and Tech built championship hopeful rosters with 5x more players than we did in the portal was that money was tight on retaining the current (shit) roster

Sarkisian decided we were good enough and didn’t need more portal players. Sarkisian also just had a child with a woman he had filed for divorce from a few months prior. His judgment may not be the best.

Go look at their average margin of loss to “good” teams.

I swear to fucking god some of you don't watch the games or you are too drunk to remember shit. 4th and 1 on your own 36 is less than iffy there, especially with the play they called. 4th and 5 was clearly a we dare you to jump and we may have something else called anyway play or punt and pin.

They were in year 1 and inherited a QB that didn't fit the system and still almost made the playoffs, it's disappointing for sure, but they didn't get blown out save the oklahoma game, which was terrible.

bama is going to roll with DeBoer (pun intended) and they don't have half the resources we do. it's fucking mindblowing we hire these mid coaches and when the sure bets are available we are happy with our perpetual 5 year rebuild. give the guy a chance.
