I think they are better than OU and there's a reasonable chance (still less than 50%) they come into Austin with a trip to the SECCG on the line. I think we will be out of it after a loss to UGA, but that we will finish this season by completely rocking them defensively like last year.

3 loss Texas makes the playoffs, we will likely be playing them for a spot in the postseason

Good.. we send them packing .. like it should be in a righteous world.

Arkansas is absolutely abysmal. But this is their first time hosting A&M in Fayetteville in years, and they’re typically good for 1 upset a season (ex: Tennessee last year). Bobby P has no love lost for A&M either…

And the thing that makes upsets hard to predict... is that they shouldn't happen... which is why they're upsets. So this is happening.

A&M is also getting a ton of love. Cover 3 bros say they are the top team in the SEC and a lock for the playoffs. They have A&M going 11-1 or 10-2 at worst.

Arkansas only lost by 3 to Tennessee in Knoxville.

Elko is also getting talked about for the Penn State job.

This is the start of 3 straight road games for them so what better way to start the road tests than by losing to Arkansas who has nothing to lose.

The only team who holds those SWC rivalries more sacred than aggy is....Arkansas

So yeah, they want this one.  They are in the midst of a 3-game losing streak to aggy

I think Elko is proving to be a solid coach. His trickiness with the defense is impressive. He's bringing in good players via the portal.

He has a chance to be legendary at A&M. On the other hand, he isn't playing the cream of the SEC this year except for (fingers crossed) who is emerging here in Austin. If he thinks he can keep up the winning even when schedules change, I think getting a ton of money to make himself the biggest hit since Jackie Sherrill might tempt him to stay. I see A&M resuming their 8-4 ways when their schedule evens out, but he may not.

Elko is a good coach, but I do love that people are trying to connect him to the Penn State opening. Nothing would make me happier than to have A&M over rotate on another head coach and go all in with a 12 million per year number or something stupid. They would be so screwed for NIL if they did that.

The 12-2 TAMU-Arky record since TAMU joined the SECX3 is one of the more mystifying enigmas in the universe.

Elko might get a little more money out of this, but PSU isn't really going after him.  He went to Penn.  How that ties to PSU is anyone's guess.  I still think they poach tOSU.

He also doesn't have much body of work to pay him what they'd have to pony up to get him.  They barely beat an overrated ND team and played everyone else at home.

The Cover 3 people this year are really odd.

The TAMU schedule this year has been perfectly set up for the roller coaster, and think they are going to struggle on the road. Their best win also may diminish if ND loses to USC and it essentially happened because the refs decided to not call holding

Yeah it's really not an enigma.  Absolutely asswater coaching history for Arkansas since aggy joined the SEC and it became an every year series.

Is there a scenario where they are undefeated coming into Austin we win, and face an rematch in SECCG?

Sure, if we win out and they are undefeated, that would be possible, probably even likely. However, I think we drop 1 between now and then, and I think they drop 2.  Winner of our game against them probably goes to the playoffs.

Maybe it will be like our mojo over Oklahoma State for all those years. Then the nasty backlash.

Or maybe Arkansas, a middling team, is A&M's, another middling team, Nebraska. Our mojo held like a motherfucker over those corn heads.

It’s really that Arkansas has gone through 4 really fucking bad head coaches in that span. Asswater

Idiots. No one would ever go to college station and do something similar. Who the fuck even wants to go to that shit hole? Yet these cunts came to Austin to make fools of themselves?

They must be basing this on their projected record rather than any reality. They don't play Alabama, Ole Miss, or Georgia. They may end up with a better SEC record than those teams therefore they're the best team in the SEC.

The genius of sports pundits.

They may be the third best team in Texas.

Just turn the sign around. This the best you can do? You thought this indicated your superiority?

Change your mind? You're a fucking cult. Proof? You're here proselytizing.

You didn't specify as to whom you're superior. You may be superior to other cults.

I don't blame you for wanting your mind changed. This is a cry for help. I'll call some de-programers.

Thoughts and prayers.

With the small sample size we have, another regular loss and you’re out.

Aggy will lose @ LSU and @ Mizzou.  They will blow a game against either Arkansas or South Carolina.  And we will seal their 8-4 destiny.

And Elko will come back 15 pounds heavier next spring.

It's nice to know in this crazy world that there are still things you can count on.

Since the game is in Fayetteville

Oh, then they can definitely lose that game.

Good.  This is good.

Moss was an imposing runner for them. His power usually kept them in nice shape with the chains. They'll face longer third down situations, I think. Even third and three will be more challenging without the back who can effectively strive for an additional yard on a tough run.

I think Moss is elite. If he makes it back and finishes well, I imagine he'll go pro (he's a junior and 22 years old) to make money off that body while he still can.

With Moss, I think they'd have a real shot at getting through with a single loss.

yeah, moss is truly a badass.

they are going to be hurting without him.
