Bucs WR Antonio Brown Rips Off Uniform and Walks Off Field Mid Game

I was in Seattle a couple of weeks ago, where you have to show your vax card to get in anywhere.  They'll accept a picture of your vax card on your phone, and they don't check your ID to make sure your name matches, so literally all you need is a picture of someone's vax card.
Most places I went in Seattle required Id. I even had to produce a photo of my kids global entry card to get Sushi. Nyc was way more rigorous.

Wait a minute.. don't you have to show proof of jab in NYC to go anywhere public? So now he got the shot?

Just got back from Manhattan last weekend-- like the other guy said, you could show pic of card on your phone and didn't even look at the ID's, just waving people through.

So yes, this was Arians telling AB to get off the sidelines and he was cut from the team during the game itself. He was not cut because of what he did. He had already been cut with his nearly million dollar incentive right in his reach. Whether or not you believe AB was injured, I mean he didn't practice all week and been battling an ankle injury for weeks now. They pretty much told him get in the game or you are done with this team.

Waaaaaay different than how it was originally presented to us. Like Arians was being some stand up guy and cutting AB for his tantrum. The tantrum was a big fuck you to Arians and TB. Which I have zero problem with. Which is why his teammates had his back in the pressers.

This is not about AB having mental health issues.

I'm sceptical of nearly everyone, but hardly would believe a word that came out of AB's mouth.

I’m not sure that’s entirely true.

What are you going to do? Give him Haldol or some sort of anti-psychotic to zonk him out? He's a cluster B (narcissistic, anti-social personality disorder and borderline), which only really responds to Dialectical Based Therapy, not a drug since it is trying to change how the person reacts to situations.

There are people who have desperately wanted to be mentally well, but despite their best efforts along with the suite of medicines prescribed to treat them, have not been made whole.

Arian's mistake was not cutting him after the fake vax card thing.  What I've read is Arian's never wanted him but Brady insisted and I'm sure Brady talked Arian's into letting him stay after the vax card incident, which again, if it hadn't happened, we wouldn't be worried about bonuses and shit.

I'm a Brady guy, undisputed GOAT, but he needs to own this.  Tom's obsessed with winning and a lot of it probably has to do with winning the Bellichek argument but this is a pretty bad look imo.

Not a look at all. Nobody will link this to Brady whatsoever.

Went to a Stars game a few weeks ago. NHL rules are mask to get in. You can literally throw it in the trash can inside the door 5 feet away. COVID loves entrances.

Just because it doesn’t always work doesn’t mean that being willing to try isn’t a necessity for it to work. If that makes sense.

TB has no judge of character. This dude is highly abusive of women and Brady had him move in for a while. No doubt Brady was lobbying Kraft to get Aaron Hernandez out on work release to play ball.

Supposedly AB hurt the ankle a couple weeks before the suspension. The team has been on his ass to do his rehab on it and he’s blown it off stating he was good to go. Piece of shit.

He says he has receipts.

The only sentence he actually wrote:  "Business gonna be BOOMIN!"

He asserts that Arians gave him the throat slash gesture.  If true, it's on video somewhere.  If FOX does not have it, there are 50k+ cameras in that stadium and SOMEONE has it recorded.  That would definitely help his credibility.

So Arians and the Bucs knew of his damaged ankle and tried to cover it up. Injecting him with powerful painkillers that the NFL does not really approve of anymore. One of the only reasons he even played the game to begin with. He gives it a go and decides it's too risky to keep playing and does not feel comfortable. Arians tries to force him back in, AB doesn't go so he is thrown off the sidelines and cut. Another trash head coach with an ego, baiting a player he never liked to begin with. Arians got a huge ego once Brady swooped in and saved him.

AB's lawyer

Was in Manhattan for about 10 days in December.

Had to show Vax Card & ID if you wanted to sit down in a restaurant and I think to see The amethyst as well.

I'm definitely not gonna just blindly believe the word of AB.

But also,

1) Everyone is hurt to some degree in the NFL.

2) Arians plays people hurt. It's what he does. You know the fucking deal. Tom Brady played last year on a torn MCL for fuck's sake. Not buying his horse shit like this is some new thing for him or the Buccs.

In general, AB's past behavior makes it difficult for him to be a credible or sympathetic character.  You cannot be an asshat in 99% of your life and expect for folks to immediately align with you on the 1% where you are being totally honest and sincere.  And Arians knows this.

Let's assume AB is telling the truth here.  His histrionics forced this whole episode to be played out in public.  And likely made him persona non grata for every other team in the NFL (not really if he can still play).  It's not in his nature, but if he had let this play out by seeking the counsel and assistance of his attorney and of the NFLPA, the Bucs might end up with serious sanctions, etc. and may have mitigated additional damage to his career.

Asshole coach tries to make asshole player go on ankle that needs surgery. Asshole player refuses. Asshole coach cuts him on sidelines. Asshole player scheduled for ankle surgery by world renowned foot and ankle specialist for the next week. Pretty cut and dried

AB has a long history of lies, fake injuries, milking minor injuries into vacations, fraud, faking documents, ripping off contractors, beating women, raping winner, assaulting contractors.

The NFL documents everything. NFL films is all over the sideline. Any exchanges were filmed or recorded.

In the NFL the question is “ are you hurt or injured?” . Every player plays with pain and nagging injuries. Some play with pain injections and steroid shots. They are gladiators and take years off their lives for big money and our entertainment. On the cowboys most of the offense is playing with injuries that would have us all screaming.

Shocking I tell you shocking. AB is wrecking his life right now. He doesn’t have the receipts. It’s his MO. I have never seen anything like this honestly. I mean we probably all know someone who is burning their life to the ground and there is a similar pattern to it…

Sorry SAD. I played Jr High and HS and got interest (though no offers) from SWC schools. I played hurt all the time. But i never jumped for joy like that with an ankle injury.

This makes monumentally more sense than anything AB and his people are peddling. Injuries are common in the game and there are protocols. It makes no sense whatsoever that these protocols were somehow missed in this situation just to fuck with a player. This story fits squarely within his reputation and NFL protocol. Also, wtf with the pain killers that the NFLPA supposedly is against? Either the CBA bans it or it does not and I don't see how its even remotely possible that a team is violating the CBA without a single whistleblower concerning a full NFL roster of members of the NFLPA. It's so nonsensical. I don't know if Arians is really that big of an asshole, I always assume that anyone who makes it to a HC job in the NFL has to have some asshole in them to reach those positions, but the specificity of Browns' story is just too much for logic to follow.

That’s the ankle of a 50 yo pack a day smoker w diabetes and he’s out trying to play nfl level wr on it. He’s gonna win his grievance claim

If that’s his ankle and he was cleared to play he’s going to win any grievance he files.

Oh AB is keeping receipts lmao. Did Arians and company really believe he would just go quietly. Arians said they did not know about this. Yet his ankle has been bothering him for awhile now and he did not practice that week. AB texted Arians directly. Again, he's a piece of shit. Who lied to try and spin this. The outburst is irrelevant at this point.
