With Odo coming back, do we move Urquidy to the pen? Javier back to the pen? It's a good problem to have with McCullers looming as well.

The way I see it is to move back to a 6-man rotation with Verlander, Valdez, Garcia, Odo, Javier, and Urquidy. Option Bielak to AAA. And, once McCullers is back, move Urquidy to the pen.

Not a legitimate no hitter obviously but that shit still really fucking sucked.

Lololol. This here is what a dumbass looks like, folks.

Yanks get a 15 strikeout no-hitter shoved on 'em by three different pitchers .. but "Nah, it's not legit". There is almost zero chance this tool isn't aggy.

So much for all that “they don’t hang banners in June” talk I guess.

Suggesting a no hitter shouldn’t be celebrated is the equivalent to having never lived in New York but rooting for the Yankees.

So, that’s strike two.

Skip Garcia on Tuesday and you could set it up for Javier to go again against the Yankees in Houston

We’re going to have a wonderful problem on our hands when McCullers returns.
Nice to see Rake back as well, I think he’ll be CF for a while, kids a stud.

New York was no-hit for just the eighth time ever, and just the sixth time at home. Two have been by the Astros, with both of them being combined efforts.

Houston was the last team to do it, across the street at the old Yankee Stadium in 2003. Roy Oswalt strained his right groin after his second pitch of the second inning, and Pete Munro (2⅔ innings), Kirk Saarloos (1⅓), Brad Lidge (two), Octavio Dotel (one) and Billy Wagner (one) followed in an 8-0 win.

The Astros now have 14 no-hitters in their history, the most in the majors since Houston began play in 1962. Three have been combined efforts, also a record.

they finally have a banner to hang !!!!

So 4-1 against the best in the NL and AL so far is good, right?  Cause that sounds good.

I will say almost all the pitchers ranked in our top 30 this season have been getting beat up. Minus Hunter Brown of course

I love that while I sit here watching ousucks trail Ole Miss, I get to see the Astros' no-hitter scroll by every couple of minutes.

And I learned something else - that today's ('not legit') no-hitter was the first ever in new Yankee Stadium.

It was a good day.

Did Beltran miss baseball so much that he needed to take on a crappy third-wheel broadcasting role with the Yankees? Kinda pathetic.

He’s horrible. I listened to their broadcast game 1 (probably why we lost). He said 100% the Astros title is tainted. Fuck that douche

Have to admit since 2019, Altuve broke their brains. Best record in baseball until the Astros rode the 6 into town. Now theyre in total shock. Just like at Joez lolol

That Lidge/Dotel/Wagner 7,8,9 inning to close out games was amazing. You knew that if they had a lead in the latter part of a game that it was locked down, pure greatness.

And on the day of the combined no no, I think it was 6-7-8-9 from that trio.

Pretty rich to hear him in the bottom of the 8th, after the other two announcers talking how sluggish they’ve been all series, say “no excuses but….” And then go on to make excuses about how they got in 5am thursday morning from Tampa and “it eventually catches up to you”
