So hornlife is insinuating that he has a say with the staff to pull an offer? I’m sure big donors will really miss his $10 he pulled from Cooper to give to Lee.

Next level delusion.

What evidence do you have that Crowell is elite elite and Cooper is just very, very good?

The voices in his head told him so.

You guys should know that when you’re arguing with hornlife, you’re arguing with a person with serious health issues, which may or may not be effecting his cognitive abilities. He’s alluded to it here before and in other threads. Do with that information what you will.

My 20/90 vision

Edit: just wanted to add after watching their highlights Crowell just has this one step and go and hits the hole, whereas Cooper doesn't seem as comfortable as Crowell carrying the ball. It could be due to the competition they're playing and style of offense, but Crowell seems more natural. He's not a unicorn or anything, but I think he's a step above Cooper. Crowell has a thicker lower body which allows him to cut, and Cooper needs to add muscle to his lower body and focus on just playing running back.

In the end it doesn't matter. Cooper could end up like Adrian Peterson (yes, hyperbole), and Crowell ends up like Darrell Scott. I trust Sark, but Choice was all-in on Crowell for a reason.

Cooper runs 10.7 100m

Crowell runs a 10.6

Not that it makes a shit. Both arw fast af, but it's impressive, nonetheless for both.

The most egregious rating is both 247/on3 have KJ Edwards ahead of Cooper in the rankings. Like, sure.

On3 has him as the 8th best RB, while 247 has him as an athlete. Only ESPN has him as a 5*.

While it's great to thump our chests over stars, the people who do the rankings are some of the stupidest people. Only Savion Hiter is in the top 3 on all the sites.

Stop with this argument. Everyone knows what you are saying, but you also know that the term has become an umbrella term that also captures the meat filled.

pedantry has no place here sir.

Cooper splitting time at linebacker should not be overlooked. He may make one hell of a jump. He's a tough motherfucker and I love having tough motherfuckers tote the ball.

Hell, everybody knows pedantry is the sausage in Surly's klobasnek. Especially in the offseason, it's a primary filling. There's only so many recruiting announcements, media days and arrests to keep everybody fed.

I thought he played safety? Doesn't matter. Tomatoes/Tamales.

Forget the 9.95 rankings - Cooper is a target for UGA, tOSU, Miami, FSU, and Texas. That tells me he is pretty damn good.

If we land Cooper, and he sticks, our RB might be the nastiest in the nation next season.

Closer to $450k over this and last year. Shopping an offer is fine. But when you tell a staff one thing and decide an OSU visit is needed. We don't use hard checks to close but do expect loyalty. Hence the Ojo no go.

I have the benefit to know I'm dying and really don't need money for retiring now. Easy to give some to Texas. And no I don't have sway other than declining to up what I'd given.

Like soon from a condition, or like the rest of us from being idiots and having to live out our lives for another 40-50 years?

I have the benefit to know I'm dying soon from MS and hemochromatosis (shitloads of iron in blood, I'm over 10x what a human should have) and really don't need money for retiring now. Like I said, I'd like Cooper in this class but really think the young man could have managed things better.

Who knew we had a big cigar amongst ourselves! Sorry for your illness. There must be some clinical trial going on somewhere you can participate in. Meanwhile, if you want to get rid of some of your 10× than necessary wealth, I am happy to take some of that burden off of you.

I don't know shit about fuck, but I think Cooper is quicker through the hole, I think playing both sides of the ball and being a track guy makes him a better fit for Sarks team.  I wouldn't mind having either, both have high ceilings

Cooper catches the ball extremely well from what I’ve seen and had better top end speed. I don’t see enough clips with the ball to comment on his vision.

crowell seems stronger, breaks more tackles, better quickness, makes more people miss, consistently outruns defenders who have an angle, more experience at the position.

that said, Sark has more than proven my initial read of him wrong. He’s got my trust (not that it matters one way or t’other).

To me the biggest difference between Crowell and Cooper is that Crowell is not coming here to play football, while there is still a chance Cooper might

I love that someone took the time to digitally black out something on a photo of a phone that hadn’t existed for 20 years by the time the ability to digitally black out something on a photo came about. 😂

Remember, according to Gerry the Florida schools have no money. The players train in abandoned parking garages and sticker laden fields with dirt patches and 6 in tall weeds. They barely even get to eat.

One year of Texas S&C and Cooper will be 6'1" 235 lbs, run a 4.1 40 with a 70 inch vertical.

I am truly sorry also. My dad passed away last week due to late-onset ALS, so I know how challenging muscular issues can be.

Prayed for you both and wish you the best. Hope you’re receiving lots of support and encouragement.
